Hello fellow PE newbs, I’m writing both to relate and to enlighten.

First off, I’ve been doing extensive research on everything from penis exercises, pills, pumps, and phalloplasty (funny how all penis related enhancements begin with “p”). I have scoured forums (including Thunders place), web articles, and medical sites regarding these various methods. As of now, I have come to some conclusions I would like to share with my fellow newbs who may not have already figured this out.

1) Pills simply don’t work. No, actually I have never tried them, but after doing some basic study on the physiology and anatomy of the penis, PLUS the lack of medical explanation from the pill companies, it’s easy to conclude that they are bogus. Even more so, is the lack of genuine testimonials that would back up these claims. Furthermore, the pills exaggerate gains, that in itself should draw a red flag. From what I gather, these pills do more to get you horny and hard than to truly enlarge you, so it’s simply an illusion.

2) Penis exercises seem to be mixed. Considering the idea of stretching and traction as having being demonstrated on other parts of the body (ear lobes, neck, etc), it is conceivable that the penile tissue is capable of the same process. But the stretching, and other forms of weight/traction are not for everyone, and can cause serious harm to your penis if done incorrectly or excessively. Jelqing shows a lot of promise (primarily from this website/forum), but it is one of the fields of PE that I’m not as familiar with yet. It seems all in all that penile exercises DO in fact work, but require caution, patience, and commitment.

3) Pumps, these are devices that I have actually used. Remarkably, they do get your penis larger, and almost instantly. The first time I saw my penis inflate like a balloon I was thrilled.but the thrill was short lived and, according to the penis pump’s manual, I would have to commit to at least 10 months of pump action. The negatives for pumping are that, if done incorrectly can cause injury to your penis (ruptured blood vessels), and it’s easy for this to happen because of the delight we all have in seeing our penises grow.

4) Phalloplasty, or penis surgery, seems to be the most permanent solution, yet the most risky. Keep in mind, vast research must be done to find the right doctor, scheduling and costs have to be considered, and you should never forget that it is still your precious penis that will be going under the knife. With every pleasure, you have trade offs. If you are willing to spend $5000 and up, you can eventually come home with a noticeably larger penis. However, due to the risks of surgery, everything from retraction (losing gains), to infection are serious possibilities.

Now that I have shared with you my descriptions of the 4 realms of penis enlargement, I want to note some conclusions: PILLS DON’T WORK, pumping is for true but temporary results, penis exercises DO WORK with TIME AND PATIENCE, and Phalloplasty is the most PERMANENT yet RISKIEST option. With this being said, I, for myself, have concluded that I will rely on stretches and traction for length gains and phalloplasty for girth gains.

I consider my size to be on the “skinny” end. I’m about 5” max erect, but 3’5” circumference at shaft. I want to, at the very least, obtain the “average” size, so that I can at least answer with honesty “I’m average.” That would mean I would need to gain 1 inch in length via stretching & penis exercises (very realistic), and as much girth as my penis skin will let me have for phalloplasty (hopefully achieve a gain of 1 1/2 inches, or more, circumference, this is somewhat realistic). Now as for the type of phalloplasty, that is something I am still currently researching.

I am, in fact, a good lover, and I’ve learned smaller guys have mastered the art of foreplay and nipple/clitoris stimulation. I can have her cum in minutes if I spend about the same time in minutes warming her up through passionate kissing and sucking. However, I feel that girth is still essential, it’s not only to please her even more, but so that I can actually feel like I’m filling her more. And though my current lover appreciates me for who I am (and I am ever so grateful), there is no reason I should not take it upon myself to do whatever I can in my ability to improve my physical being.

I really enjoyed your post but I beg to differ with you on pumping.

Many here at thundersplace have gotten permanent gains from pumping.

I pumped consistently for several months and gained almost a 1/2 inch in girth. I had to stop pumping for privacy reasons, yet several months later the girth I gained is still here.

You also say earlier in your post that pumping is dangerous. Like you, I am very cautious and I spent months researching the PE methods. My research led me to the conclusion that pumping is one of the safest exercises if you follow the guidelines given in the thunder’s forum, which I will summarize quickly.

— work up your pumping time gradually, starting at a very short time period
— do not pump at high pressure

I followed these guidelines. Personally I found 2 or 3 ten minute sets per session at the very low pressure of 2.5hg worked quite well for me.

I was surprised also to find that this exercise is quite calming and relaxing. I believe the brain must release "feel good" chemicals in response to the gentle pull and engorgement.

However, I do agree with you that pumping is not a newbie exercise. Wait until you have 3 months of PE under your belt before trying it.

You seem to be doing the right thing by doing extensive research. Be absolutely sure about surgery, though. There are some horrible disaster stories around here.

I am absolutely sure about surgery, and not simply on research alone. It’s the hard reality of the “numbers.” Yes as much as we all throw around what is “average” and what is “large” there is no doubt to anyone, for some silly reason, what “small” is. And I’m definitely, with a doubt, on the small end when it comes to girth (and length too). I ‘m 3.5” hard, maybe 3.75 on my hardest days, and 4.5 inches erect, 5inches bonepressed. I somehow still manage to please, but I think part of that comes with my talent to provide sensuality & attention to my partner before engaging in sex, which helps compensate for the lack of girth.

But the reality is that I don’t always have time to warm up the lady, and sex comes randomly and is done within a window of 10 minutes. This is where simply having a more satisfactory size can help play a role in better love making. And even if I had the time to really get into foreplay, having the extra girth can only help her orgasm achieve new heights.

So enough of my wordy posts, let me cut straight to the point - I’m 3.5 inches EG and want to reach 5’inch girth, and I’m 4.5 inches non bone pressed EL and would like to achieve at least 6 inches non bone pressed length, so that brings my total goal to a gain of 1.5” NBPEL x 1.5” EG.

With that being said, I believe that I’m going to attempt to achieve the 1.5” NBPEL through natural PE methods, such as stretching and jelqing. I plan though, to obtain girth through surgery, and with which method I’ll discuss on a separate thread. I just think that I’m so far behind my ideal “average” that I am one of the few who can justify seeking medical intervention. As a matter of fact, I’m going to post a thread about my possible future surgery plans, be sure to check it out fellas - and thanks again for all the input!

Ouch, I missed the point in your post about surgery determined. Do a search on this site about: there is some evidence that surgery is the solution of nothing.

Marinera, I will definitely take a look into it. I’ve read some of the posts recently with regard to surgery, and there seems to be mixed reviews. With that being said, I posted a new thread solely on my decision for surgery on the newbie section, to see if the community can help me figure out if A) it’s worth it and B) whats legit and whats not.
