I wouldn’t say I’ve actually measured things enough to have a “favorite” but the more important factor in size is girth. My husband can bottom out on me in certain positions and it HURTS. He’s around 6 1/2” length, haven’t done a good measurement yet as an official starting place.

On average it makes it slightly smaller, but it’s a very small amount. The real damage is in removing the ridged band and frenulum and 15 sq inches of skin with their 24,000 fine touch nerves and exposing the glans constantly which causes keratinization and loss of feeling and makes a circumcised man around 75% more likely to develop ED problems later in life than his intact counterpart. Plus the removal of the gliding action of the foreskin can create dryness issues for the female involved and can create pain for her. Circumcisions that are done too tightly can create tight painful erections for the man, and many times because of the lack of skin, when a circumcised man is erect you can see there is hair on the shaft BC it has pulled skin that would normally be at the base or covering the balls up the shaft.

That information is standard fare on the anti-circumcision websites. Actual unbiased research (looking for answers, without having an agenda behind the data gathering) usually comes to somewhat different statistics. e.g. Adult Circumcision Outcomes Study: Effect on Erectile Function, Penile Sensitivity, Sexual Activity and Satisfaction.

Shaft hair is perfectly normal whether someone is circumcised or not.

Then I stand corrected, my personal experience with intact men is limited to two males and neither had hair on the shaft, so I never dug in to the fact past what I read a couple of times. My personal "research" (haha) supported it so I didn’t try to verify it with another site.

But I will give that I am a biased opinion on it, because in my mind even if it does no harm at all (which I don’t believe, but if it doesn’t) I still wouldn’t support making a choice to have part of a child’s penis removed for cosmetic reasons.

That refers to people circumcised at 18yo or later though, and with pre-existing conditions (fimosis, condiloma etc..).

Yes, I deliberately picked people in that class as they are the ones (like me) who actually know what it is to have sex and masturbate both with and without a foreskin.

As the report stated “Mean age of responders was 42 years at circumcision and 46 years at survey” we can assume that most of the men did not have pre-existing conditions for most of their ‘sex lives’.
