That’s a really tough one!
First off, things to do:
Read as much as you can in the newbie forum, remember to check the stickies at the top of the forum.
Check out the articles, they’re all really well written and informative.
Now, things to remember:
You need to stick to this if you want to gain. It’s not a quick fix, and it can be hard to keep at it, but another thing to remember is that there are a lot of people here who are happy to help you. We were all at some point in the same position as you one time.
Take it easy to start with. It is possible to injure yourself, but if you take it easy to start with (the newbie routine is what you should start with) and gradually build it up you should get all the benefits.
If you’re not sure about something do a search on it. If you can’t find anything on it then post a thread on it (you’ll have to wait a bit till you can start new threads). If you’re worried about your question not being important enough for a thread, then you can always PM someone who’s been here for a while.
I’d recommend you keep a detailled log. You can make a thread (eventually) in the progress rerports subforum and keep it there for convenience; it also keeps it away from prying eyes. The reason I would recommend a log is that this can all be quite overwhelming. There is a huge amount of information here and it can be hard to digest it all. Keeping a log of what you do and what the effects are can help you in the future when you look back. Reading other people’s logs can be useful too.
