I am measuring only once a month.. 3 decimal place stats are 1/8”s of an inch..

In general, I was hoping I might get advice on what I could do better. For warm up, I am doing a water bottle soak, then I do 5-10 mins manual stretching, and 10 mins Jelqing. For the stretching, I pretty much pull until I feel that I shouldn’t pull anymore. I could definitely pull harder, I am more stretching it than pulling it. And for jelqing, I am more giving my penis a massage, than say trying to choke it or squeeze hard. Should I take the intensity a step more? I’ve noticed some slight bruising, but no spots or anything like some stories I’ve read about. I’ve been switching between dry and wet jelqs. As a circumcised man, I find that dry jelqs result in me really feeling as if I am moving some meat, whereas in wet jelqing, it’s more of a massage. Oddly enough, dry jelqing results in less excitation. Suggestions?
I’ve also read that gains might be better if I forgo masturbation (sexual activity otherwise hasn’t been an issue for almost a year now unfortunately). Thoughts here?
