Girth stalled for months

Girth stalled for months

Hitting a serious girth plateau for a while now. Several months ago I bought a LeLuv pump 2” diameter cyclinder. I was previously doing the following (all include 5min jelq warm up and cool down): 12 O bends + 12 SupraSlammers. Had some girth gains. But more or less got back up to my previous highs. Maybe slightly more.

Got a pump and switched to 12 O bends + 10min 5Hg pumping and gradually increased to 30min or so. After 4-6 weeks I actually gained some length for the first time in ages (2-3/16in) but lost a similar amount of girth surprisingly.

Switched to 12 Supra Slammers * 30min 5Hg pumping gradually increased to 45min. After 4-6 weeks I gained another 1-2/16in length and got my girth back.

Then I switched to a combo.6 O bends + 6 Supra Slammers + 45min 5Hg pumping.. Gradually increased to 8 O bends + 8 Supra Slammers + 45min 5hg pumping. After 5 weeks I gained another 1/16in or so on length but actually backtracked on girth.. Lost 1-2/16in on MEG. Really shocked by that.

So all in all with the last 4 months of pumping and different manual work combos my length has increased 4-5/16in which is great but I’ve actually lost a little bit of girth and I care about girth much more than length.

Any thoughts? I love pumping because it’s so damn convenient and easy to do but could it be that it’s just not as effective for girth? My only explanation for that is because halfway through my pumping session I’m packing 50-70% of the way and by the end I’m almost entirely packed but the last 2 weeks I’ve upgraded to a 2.25” cylinder for the second half of my session which is huge.

My final experiment was going to be trying just pumping variations with mainly the 2.25” for the next 6 weeks with no manual work aside from the warm up and cool down, just to see what happens. I’m really hoping I don’t have to go back to just manual work.. And even that seems to have more or less stalled anyway. Been at the same girth for a while now.

What you are describing sounds like you have hit a conditioning Plateau. Meaning you have done more than your penis will allow you to perform to continue to gain. The amount of work you’re doing is for a diminishing return, this means that even if you found a routine that would give you gains that your tissue is too tough to actually gains until you rest.

I would recommend an extended break of a month or 2.

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

I’m going to recommend a second course of action, you decide what works for you. I agree that you’ve hit a conditioning plateau but Ive had good success overcoming them by going back to the basics. Drop the pump and start doing manual only for 30-60 days. I would even recommend doing the newbie in this time. The only difference will be using very long warm ups and downs. 20 minutes or so. I’m about to go on such a break myself and will be doing a write up later today if youre interested.

I’m a hard gainer on girth as well. I gain about 0.1” per year on it, and at that rate it’s difficult to tell what was working and what isn’t. So, I’ve come to the conclusion that most of it works, at an imperceptible pace. You might be the same, gaining from all these routines, even though it will only show up on the ruler once a year.

I also agree that for some guys, girth tends to benefit from more rest and longer decon breaks. And I’d suggest adding clamping into your PE toolbox as it is a girth staple.

Ouch, that really sucks. I know the silver lining is that there are gains, but as you say, it’s such small growth it then becomes difficult to know where under training ends and over training begins.

Interesting, is this something you’ve had to do much in the past?

I should also add that between the above 4-6 week experiments experiments I have taken a week off and I’m currently in the middle of a week off.

So why would a manual routine help me more than taking time off and then getting back into something more intense? Also, would the recommended manual work still be my intense work or just something basic? Because after my 6-week pumping only routine I was planning on trying 6 weeks or just intense manual work again.

I’m not sure if I’d say I’m a girth hard gainer. I’ve gained about 0.8in. In girth over 2 years of consistent PE. Nothing crazy but not super slow. 0.1” per year is crazy slow, man that would really make me wonder if it was worth it. How long have you been PEing?

Also one issue I have is this past time my MEG actually went down a bit. Biggest was 5.41 and it’s currently 5.28 so I know it’s not working. UEG is the same and both NBPEL and BPEL are at all-time highs. Just girth that is unfortunately the same or slightly less. Which again is really surprising to me since this past time included O Bends, SupraSlammers and the Pumping.

I have written at length on the long breaks I’ve taken in the past. If you follow my written log, I’ve taken several breaks of a month or two since starting it here. Last night was my first official session in 5 or 6 weeks as I stopped at the end of May. There’s several pieces written on the subject. And while that theory is what I wrote, there’s been some usage of it long before I wrote it. IPR theory is predicated on it and goes in depth on wound and mending mechanics it emphasizes. Others have taken my theory and expounded upon it. I can hardly take the credit. However, that post has a ton of good commentary on it and it may offer some light to what I mean and why it’s important. You just bought a pump and you went straight to -5hg? I find when doing girth exercises there are 2 different targets you can strive for, pressure or maximum expansion. I personally go for maximum expansion which DOES NOT happen for me under more extreme pressure conditions.

Almost everything I read on PEgym talked about 5hg. I did start at 3-4Hg for the first 1-2 weeks actually but after that point I did stick with 5Hg typically.

Towards the very end recently I’ve done a “just pumping” day every 3rd day and tried out longer periods with less pressure, so like 90min x 3Hg instead of my manual work + 45min x 5Hg.

How do you go about maximum expansion? What is your pumping routine?

I am not an expert, but I believe in terms of girth, less is more. Rest couple weeks, and start with newbie routine. More won’t give you gains in your case. Also after the break try to do girth work every other day and watch for your PIs.

Is this based on your experience or something you’ve read? I will start lighter to start after these couple of weeks off but was still planning on doing it daily.

Interesting. But don’t a lot of people do pumping every day?

Maybe the fact that I’ve been pumping on off days is an issue? Typically it’s been 2-3 “manual + pump” days followed by 1 “pump-only” day and repeating, although due to schedule conflicts there certainly have been days off in there as well. My last 5 week run had 6 days off within it so one every ~6 days or so.
