How do you measure girth

I printed out this ruler that I got online so it’s made out of paper. I wrap it around the middle of my johnson and it comes out to 6 exactly maybe even a bit bigger. Is what I’m doing wrong cause I went into members pics and some claim their shaft is 5 inches in girth even though it looks fucking thick. Maybe it’s just camera effect or something I don’t know but yea, some help here.

make sure you did not wrap around twice :)

I didnt I know for sure, as a matter of fact I tried even really squezing it and 6 it is.

Then again I am 6’5 230 so maybe everything looks small to me

Maybe, but don’t underestimate the things you can make with camera. I’ve played with my digital camera and even with my girth I can make my dick look kinda thick.

Heres an expalnation for you.

When looking at the pics in the Members Pics forum, and someone says “Guess my size” there are a LOT of variations in the guesses.
Also due to cameras, a 6x5 cAn look bigger than an 8x6.

But there is something that I was wondering, do people here measure the tunica by pulling the tape tight against the skin, similar to the way BP gives an accurate measurement - OR do you just have it touch the surface of the skin leaving the skin as a factor in the girth. This is probably only something that affects people with substantial foreskin as I think it may be a source of measurement error.

Dobbelbock is right. A small dick can look really large if the pic is taken as a close-up or with a wide angle lens. In addition, if there is no reference — tape measure or such, or a whole-body shot — there is no way to tell the size. The angle at which the pic is talen is also a factor.

Touching the skin, I believe

The problem with printing out a ruler on line is that it might not come out in the proper scale. Check the dimensions on it using a regular ruler.

Fair enough but I’d say that there is a slight discrepancy between cut and uncut guys due to excess foreskin. I’m sure no one cares enough to think about it and that if you always measure the same way that’s what matters most but maybe there should be like with BP and NBP a TIGHT and TOUCH measurement. It’s just a thought.

Yeah make sure that when its printed out that it is the right size!

Also you could just use a string or something and wrap it around your dick then measure with a normal ruler.

Okay, I actually found a ruler and the one that I was using was off by .3 I think so it comes out to 5.7 or 5.8

Oh shit that means my length was off too

So I guess I’m like 6 length and 5.8 in girth.
