How hard to grab when stretching Beginner Problems - Please give advice

I grab the head when I stretch, but this seems to require a tight grip and stretch and almost completely close off my urethra, perhaps even damaging it.

Once, after an intense stretching session, I had a burning sensation while urinating for the next 24 hours. It seemed obvious that gripping my head while stretching the penis had caused damage to the urethra or maybe temporarily “closed it off”.

So can someone direct me to literature on proper stretching?

Also, I have heard that I should go easy on jelqing until I am happy with my length gains from stretching? Can someone give me some advice? My routine is:

-Warm-up
-Stretching (~5 min)
-Jelqing (~2 min)

You should not be grabbing the head when you stretch. You should grab right behind the head instead. And there is no reason for you to take jelqing easy. That helps with length as well.

At least an inch or more below the head. You do not need to grab tight.

I had trouble with stretching at first, you will get the hang of it.

Same advice on jelquing, stay away from the head.

What everyone said, but i still get compression of the head too. I enhance my grip by using baby powder.

I usually stretch it out a little, kegel some blood into the head and then grip right behind it, it seems to be okay

3/26/11: Failure to stay 100% for measurement.

Don’t know if it’s the safest way to do it, but I grasp in an ok grip behind the head, and then instead of pulling straight, I add a small angle to give a bit more of a grip without choking the blood supply. Seems to work, takes a bit of getting used to. And be careful, I’m only talking about a small angle (15-20 degrees or so) - not a 90 degree bend!

Gotta watch out for all those wonderful nerves behind the head. Don’t want to be messing those up. So best to stay away from the head.

I did try it with baby powder too, but I found that I think it made me grip too hard and I left marks on my head.
