Intro and questions
Hello all,
I’ve been lurking and reading up and been hesitant to jump in with a post but here I am. Let me share some of my story.
Recently I became concerned with size as I noticed when flaccid size would fluctuate anywhere between maybe around 2 7/8” to 4”. At any given minute it could be any length. And honestly I guess I never payed attention over the years to how frequent this might have been happening - I know it probably sounds silly. I always dismissed the get length now ADS and stuff like that over the years and never really had any concern about size. Maybe it makes sense to say I wasn’t self-aware?
I understand that naturally size is going to fluctuate due to a number of factors such as temperature and that. Naturally I always seem to be a little bit colder than most people, trying to warm up - keep my coat on at places, having the furnace set higher than other people might - so I’m sure that doesn’t help. I did do some research and found that I could be experiencing what is called “turtling”.
As far as I can remember when flaccid I’d always hang pretty good at what I’d consider my length so-to-speak. A goal of mine would be to have an - as much as possible - consistent flaccid hang length. Many times it doesn’t feel like I have a nice flaccid meaty member. Flaccid Length 4” x Girth 4 1/4” is the measurement I seem to be naturally at when not fluctuating. I wouldn’t mind an increase in flaccid size.. As I understand it, that would be a step in increasing erect size. A goal would be maybe flaccid length 5” x girth 4 1/2” and then go from there.
The erect length - and I measured as just a hair short of BPEL 6” x Girth 5 7/8”. Id like to make a goal of BPEL 8” x Girth 7 1/2”. If PE is something that might be for me I’d really say let’s see if I can make some gains and go from there. I’m not sure really how to measure and see what a goal size might be without just seeing a gallery of pics of someone at that size and girth and saying - yeah that’s it! Ha!
I want to mention recently I had a small infection of the prostate and I indirectly noticed a decline in erection and more specifically a decline in the ability to maintain one - and realized it was around this same time frame. Among other medications for infection doctor prescribed sildnanfl as generic. Using that erections have become full, solid and maintained like they have years ago. I wonder if I have had an ED problem for a little longer than I thought and maybe not directly related to prostate because the infection has been clearing up but still having decline in erection and still more specifically the ability to maintain one. Obviously this has helped with blood flow but I want to bring it back to what I mentioned about my flaccid length.. With the very frequent fluctuation in flaccid size it feels like there is a lack of blood flow keeping things at a constant flaccid state (let alone erect state).
As much as it’s embarrassing I thought it probably should be mentioned along with everything else. Maybe PE could help with this?
In lurking and researching at other places I’ve seen pumps, stretchers and jelquing that have claimed to be solutions.
I have some reservations about stuff like pumps. From what I’ve seen it results in what appears to be some serious deformation let alone other risks.
I have not actually experienced them myself but that’s what I’ve observed through research.
So that’s why I ended up at something like Thunder’s Place here for PE.
I also have some reservations about the technique of jelquing. I’ve read how it could cause irreversible damage and I have the same worry about that like the pumps. However I’ve also read that most all PE exercises including jelqing and without it you are not bound to get results.
I’ve read about the stretchers and the explanation on how they work. Why they work (or at least how it’s claimed) seem to make sense to me. But that seems like a burden to wear something like that for hours a day. From what I read about PE it’s sorta the same idea as the stretchers in tissue generation. I could be wrong on my assessment of that and I say it in a loose observation.
With some of the things I’ve been experiencing and dealing with I wouldn’t want to put myself at further risk of permanent damage or disfigurement so I don’t know what techniques would be best suited to meet my goals.
There is a lot of information here on this forum, so very much to take in. So much I feel like it’s hard to find a place to start so that’s why I thought it might be best to share some of my story and people with some experience might be able to point me in the right direction based upon it and what my goals would be.
I know this is a lot for an intro but I hope some of my story helps with any replies and guidance here on the forum. The advice I get might very well be that PE is not for me, maybe. That’s why I’m reaching out. I greatly appreciate and thank you in advance for taking the time to read.
