And for tracking your routine or gains, consistant measurements are a must.

GIRTH! I am biased because I am a legendarily (at least in my mind) hard girth gainer and hard gainer altogether. But I would always take girth up until I reach 6.5 EG. Girth is what works on most women. If I had to choose between a 6x6 or an 8x5, I would choose a 6x6. The only exception I would say would be for guys shorter than 5’ BPEL.

Yea I am just under 7 in length, and I have hit the wall on some girls. After 6.5 or so in my opinion you gotta think girth. A long dick may be impressive to look at but girth gets em goin.

I happen to be an easy girth gainer. Started at about 4.5” in November but have been pretty much tried to work on length the whole time. Now I’m at 5” girth last measured and each time I jelq or work on PE at all it seems to all go to girth. Should add that taking Orexis and Cialis may have contributed much to my girth gains and made my workouts more productive in girth than they otherwise would have been.

I’ve gained maybe a 1/4” in length but that is probably more EQ than anything. Being almost 6” length and length challenged I would love to add an extra inch of length even if I was still at 5” girth. Funny thing for me is the girth actually now makes me cock look shorter and stubby where before I think it looked more balanced. Still I’ll take any gains I can get. I will also say it definitely makes it tougher to stretch after my girth gains. So now and I’m pulling on my cock with the same measured intensity as if I was pulling a baby from a burning car. I’m doing a lot of v-stretches and stretching on almost every piss break.

One thing I will say is that I’m optimistic. The penis is obviously very pliable and by nature stretches and grows. My goal is 8 x 6 and I already know the two inches of length are going to be the hardest part. My plan is to just to keep increasing the intensity of my stretches and using every opportunity to push it.

That’s very true. I was always above average in girth but I never knew it and if it wasn’t for it making it look shorter and stubby I would never have searched for PE.

— In “real world” sex if you go balls deep in some positions you are most likely delivering “near BPEL”, as your fat pad compresses against your partner’s body.

To elaborate on what CubanB said, BPEL is very useful for tracking your PE gains and adjusting your routine.

Basically BPEL is a “scientific” measurement.

BPEL is a technical measurement - its purpose is for tracking PE gains (or lack of gains) so you can adjust your routine.

NBPEL isn’t any good for tracking PE gains because it doesn’t take into account fluctuations in fat pad. That can vary even daily! (how much water did you drink today? did you eat a ham sandwich and a bag of doritos? Lots of salt, your fat pad is bigger!)

For example, My fat pad seems to vary between 1/3 and 1/2, sometimes it will be as low as 1/4. So it is useful for me to try to eliminate the fat pad variable with a BPEL measurement. I want to measure penis not fat, so I can see how I am doing.

That I haven’t been able to find so I’m just going to ask it here, I am clamping everyday since I’m going for girth I do 3 10 minute sets with 10 minute breaks in between.

My real ? Is should I be jelqing as well?

My only problem with jelqing is I am uncut and I can jelq but I need a full days rest after cause my head gets pretty swollen and my skin is the part that gets swollen the most so what are yalls ideas on that?

I was thinking maybe clamping m-f then have a nice jelq session on Saturday then have Sunday off?

Are you a newbie?

If so, the standard recommendation is that you stick with a newbie routine for at least 3 months before adding advanced exercises like clamping.

The reason is that 3 months on a newbie routine helps you learn about your penis and how it responds to PE. You will get a lot of knowledge from that.

If you don’t have that knowledge it is extremely easy to injure yourself with clamping or any of the other advanced PE techniques.

Plus you can gain a lot on the newbie routine. I would say 60% or more of my first years gains came from a newbie type routine. Take a look at this thread if you have not seen it before, it is a pretty interesting discussion:

If you are not a newbie, then ignore this and I am sure someone else can answer your specific question.

Clamping is the most potentially injurous PE exercise. If you are not well conditioned before you start clamping, the chance of injury is very high, but the other problem is that your tissues will adapt quickly to the very high load clamping creates, and they will toughen up so that it will be very difficult to get girth from any other exercises.

Leave clamping until you are getting no further results from any other girth exercises.

If you have not done the newbie routine for at least 3 months, don’t do any other exercises. Many guys get most of their results from the newbie routine anyway. And make sure you use heat!

Jelqing is essential in any routine, regardless of how ‘advanced’ it is. If you are getting sore doing it, you are doing it too hard. If you use the search there are literally thousands of threads on jelqing. The jelqing video here is generally considered to be very ‘heavy duty’ jelqing; don’t start anywhere near that hard. :)

Thanks to 4.5 months of hanging that eventually broke a plateau I have slightly exceeded 7” NBPEL (7 7/8”BPEL). This makes me pretty much your exact same size. I had plans of going to 8.25” - 8.5” BPEL in order to get my length gains out of the way before tackling girth.

I have recently changed my mind due to two factors. First, I have been reading many threads about ideal size here and elsewhere and it seems chicks choose “7” - 7.5” - and THICK”, therefore I’m within range on the length but probably not on the thickness.

Second, for a while now, at certain times of the month, I have been bottoming out with my SO in missionary. Sometimes I slip past the cervix but sometimes ram right into it - more ouch for her than me - but I’m not into sadism. This precludes the possibility hard pelvic thrusting during those times. Luckily it is neither all the time nor in all positions. So why do I want to fuck up my sex life with more length?

Therefore as my New Year’s Resolution I am going on a maintenance hanging routine and switching my focus to girth. If as sometimes happens I get some length gains from the girth routine, I’m not going to worry about it too much.

Also, from a selfish sex perspective, most guys like a tight pussy (up to a point), just think how much tighter women will feel to you with added girth. By adding girth not only are you giving them what they want, but getting what you want.
