Linear Newbie Routine

Viva51, learning to listen your body is hard skill to learn and many factors chance constantly, but it is worth it.
That is one reason why it is good to start your routine very lightly, so, that you have time and opportunity to learn how your body (penis) responds to different things. If you are unsure to add or not to add another stretch it is better to wait a little, than rush and when you have reached the enough efficient point there is no need to add stretches (or jelqs) until it is necessary (old amount is more or less ineffective).

I have no experience about Wenchette, but as long as you don’t pull too hard with it, it should be OK. Just remember, that it is better to be safe, than sorry when it is about your penis.

J123- I still haven’t gained anything after being on this routine for nearly a month and being very careful about neither under training or over training, and have decided to find out about deconditioning. I realise that I have not been on the linear routine that long but you said that there should be at least a slight improvement. I believe that this routine should work, but because over the last two years I have used various routines one of which was very intense, I believe that my unit may have become resistant to grow and over conditioned, making it very hard to gain. I think if I take out a month and then start the routine again I will do much better. What do you think? Do you know of anyone who has struggled to gain, but has managed to gain after a break? I believe in your routine so I am willing to take the risk and I can’t see me losing out much as I have failed to previously gain anything. I welcome anyone elses input as well.

Beenie169, a decondition break seems to be a good idea in your case. It is the easiest and fastest way to get help in your problem and there is nothing to lose. A month should be enough.

A total break from routine is always helpful if you have stable gains and I have myself found it very effective and there is much similar stories here in Thunders place. Although it can’t guarantee success, it surely is a worth to try.

Good luck.

J123, I just wanted to know if jelqing in other directions is a good idea and if you recommend it. For instance, I normally jelq straight out in front, but some times I jelq with my penis point down, is this good. Also, would jelqing with an overhand grip be a good idea? Let me know if mixing it up like this would be a good idea.

Another thing, I am performing kegels on every PE workout I do. I started out doing 35 kegels per workout. What do you suggest I do for kegels? Should I increase 10 kegels every 3 workouts like I do with jelqs? Please let me know.

Viva51, it shouldn’t matter to what direction you jelq as long as it feels comfortable to you and you don’t force your penis. Overhand grip is also OK, but it is better to mix those with standard grip jelqs.

You can increase kegels at the same speed as jelqs, but it isn’t a very big issue, because they are only in a supportive role, but being systematic is always a good thing.

Thanks J123! When I jelq I feel that it’s somewhere between moderate and hard. It’s not uncomfortable to my penis. I feel if I jelq to soft or light I don’t feel like I’m doing anything, it feels more like I’m masturbating. What are your thoughts and how hard do you jelq?

If you jelq too hard I am sure, that you will notice it. It will be somewhat painful. Of course you must jelq with enough tight grip so, that you feel, that you are doing something. It is quite easy to notice, that is your grip tight enough to move blood forward in your penis. When it does so, it is enough.

It is quite hard to describe how hard I jelq, and I don’t variate it much. I just try to keep it so, that it is suitable for the purpose, effective, but not too hard. Get a erection at least after your workout and maybe also once or twice during your workout. If you can get good and hopefully bigger erection, than before, it shows, that you have jelqed with at least somewhat proper force and same with the whole routine.

Since I’m coming back after a two or so month break, I’ll definitely give this a try.

Good luck and gains. Hopefully you have something to report in the near future.

J123, I have been off and on with the linear routine. For example, I will do the routine then the next day something might come up or I might get busy and I forget or don’t have time to do my routine. Sometime I end up putting it off for a couple days. I started the linear routine Friday 8/11/06 and I have done the routine for a total of 9 times. I haven’t even started to stretch yet. Have I potentially hurt my chances of gaining or slowed them down significantly?

Should I start stretching?

I know that I need to start doing the 2 days on 1 day off consistently if I want to see any kind of results, but are there any words of wisdom you can give me to make it a top priority?

Thanks,
Viva51.

You don’t have to do 2 on 1 off consistently to gain, there is many variations depending about your personal situation (PE situation). Of course if you do very spread out routine it should be based on other factors, than having no time and so on. The negative effect with too spread out routine shouldn’t be big, but it is better to do or not to do. Just try to be more consistent and you can also try 1 on 1 off routine if, that feels more suitable for your schedule and penis.

Thanks J123! So from what I have told you do you think I should start stretching or should I still wait?

One more thing, I am currently at 55 jelqs for my routine. Should I still move up 10 jelqs every 3 workouts? I’m trying to listen to my body on when I should move up but it’s hard. I really don’t know what I am suppose to be feeling?

Please help.

I think, that it is OK to start stretching at your stage, but begin gently. It is good to increase the number of jelqs if you feel it necessary, there is some room to do it. When you reach about 80- 100 jelqs it is good to stop for a moment and see how your body (penis) responds if you haven’t already done the same with a lower amount.

Have you took full erection after workout? Is it harder? Bigger?
If you get bigger and better erection after workout, the number of jelqs is enough and there is no need to increase the amount at the moment, but if this is not the case, then you can increase the amount.
Although overdoing can show similar signs as under-doing, but you shouldn’t have that risk right now.

J123, you said that were not suppose to play with our penis for a couple of hours after our workout. I usually just let it rest after workouts, should I not and try to masturbate or should I just try and get hard?

I have personally got a full erection right after last jelqs, maybe done few kegels and watched, that does it look like bigger or not? Then I have done 5 -15 minutes warm down including shower and rice sock.

So it is good just watch not masturbate, of course stimulation is necessity for ultra hard erection, at least for me.
