Real Average Must Be Bigger

Ummmmmmmmm that surprizes you because you keep saying average is 5.5 to 7”. It’s not. Average is 5.5” to 6.5” ( at the biggest. 6.1” is most often the number I see for high end average.). Anything 7” or over is large.

I suggest you check the threads with actual penis size/distribution data from clinical studies, in several cases as an aside (i.e, penis size was not the primary object of study, which may influence the results due to doctors trying to make people feel better in the minds of some people). They are consistent with the idea that 65-70% of all men fall between 5-7”, with the mean being approximately 5.5” and progressive deviations from that norm being increasingly less likely.

The majority of men are within the average or “normal” size range, through various factors (sketchy measurements thrown around, selection biases in penises in amateur/pro porn, etc.) this gets skewed out of perspective.

Search google with ‘Rate my dick’ and check out there pictures. Search through enough and you’ll have a clear idea about the average.

In my opinion those are still subject to a selection bias due to the fact that guys with larger penises tend to be exhibitionists about it when given a place on the internet. For flaccid average/normal sizes at least you can search flickr for pictures from nudist events, it tends to be a fairer selection.

There is a really good post on here about this issue ( well, several, actually). 5.5” to 6” is average. On either side of that, there are as many people 4.5” as there are 7”. In real world numbers, 8” or bigger is just pretty rare. And 9” is like .1% of men.

If you are around 5.5” you are average. If you are 7” you are a little bigger than average; 4.5” a little smaller than average. 7.5” and you are pretty big, really. I think that places you in the bigger than 96% of men catagory. And I agree with the guys that say the numbers are skewed on the large side. Guys who are larger are going to be eager to get public recognition by getting measured for a study and guys who consider themselves to be small are just as likely to qwant to avoid having their “small” size rubbed in their face by getting measured for a study.

Well my point was they all seem(from what I remember) to be very average. Only very few are big. I mean that site seems to be a good selection, people with small dicks post their pictures up like they’re proud. I think it’s a slightly gay site thus they are extremely nice and graphic in their compliments. But the point is there’s a big array of different sizes there.

I just looked through like 100 pictures on that site to prove my theory. All were below 7 inches. They all seemed very average but very very different aesthetically, big curves, super long foreskin etc. There were some 4 inches or less but majority were about 6 inches and amazingly none were very thick. All under 5.5 and some going to about 4.5 inches.

The top rated dick on that site is by a guy who’s 21cm which is 8.2 inches. If these are so common why haven’t more been uploaded there. Simply, they’re not common at all! The likelihood is a lot us on this site were average and have gained something which puts us over average so people need to stop worrying about all the 8 inch dicks + out there who are bigger than themselves.

4.5” is average for girth.

I thought just a tad under 5 inches was average for girth so 4.95 inches roughly.

This thread is just funny. A single graph/table puts this argument to rest pretty abruptly, but some guy blurts out a lone anecdote which as a data point is not only statistically insignificant but statistically close to impossible, Dr Manhattan would say "Like turning an Oxygen atom into a Gold atom" and everybody goes rabid. :D

Everyone points to condom manufactures studies, but no one seems to really know if these studies were done bone pressed or not. I tend to believe that they are probably not bone pressed. Why would they be? If your a condom company all you really want to know is how much condom do they need to cover the penis. So if you have a 7 inch dick, but have a 2 inch fat pad….then they only have to produce a 5 inch condom. I too think that average is probably bigger the 6 inches.
