Real Average Must Be Bigger

Nothing really precise. I’m not attracted to a big dick, I like them smaller than me. Some dicks are big enough that you do a double take. I’m sure I’ve seen some that are 8” NBPEL. That’s uncommon. The two biggest looked to be 10-11 inches, I would say really they were in the range of 9, based on pics I have seen here.

Your eyes fool you. The size of a person makes the dick look a lot bigger or smaller. Girth also distorts your perception. Also, big dicks look bigger than they already are, an small ones look even smaller. My bf is 6x6, and 5’6. I am 7.25x5, right about 6’. His dick looks a lot bigger than mine.

I use hand widths. Two fists exactly cover a dick just over six inches. It’s easy to look at what’s left over and see how big it really is. A nine inch dick would be about three fistfuls, which is very rare.

Agreed, getting that kind of insight from straight guys is quite unlikely unless he’s an urologist (though they see a lot of flaccid ones).

Here’s the thing. As a heterosexual guy I personally have never seen another erect penis except for porn. That is my only reference. I have been in locker rooms of course but you can’t judge erect size by flaccid. I mean even a 7 inch flaccid could be 7.5 inches erect.

So the way our minds trick us is we say we are 7 inches and a 4 inch flaccid. We see someone in the locker room with a 5 inch flaccid and we think they must be bigger than me they are 8 inches. Really they could ne smaller. Sounds like only a few guys here,including northmiami have seen hundreds of erect dicks so in my book that has to be the best “average” report out there.

I only seen one guy erect and he was ~5” long and ~4.5” or so in girth. The thing is that in university most guys thought that I was about 6” flaccid (I’m not, I’m a bit over 5” though) and they assumed that I had a monster penis (I don’t), based on my flaccid state. As I mentioned in my pic, I let this go to my head and I thought I was big until a girl told me that she had been with a guy somewhat bigger when erect and yet his flaccid was much smaller. Now when I see any flaccid pic, I can’t even guess what his erect state is. Even Mandingo, I believe is a grower with a relatively non-noticeable flaccid, I think. Having said that, most penises look long and skinny to me, probably because I’m looking at their unit from my own everyday perspective, I think.

Mandingo is about 6” flaccid, I wouldn’t call that non-noticeable. :)

A 6” flaccid on a guy his height is a damn long flaccid. I never seen it. I just read that he didn’t have a big flaccid. I think he said so in an interview, if I recall? I guess, he’s not average even in the flaccid state.

Miami, my main concern is girth and what average is. I am almost the same size as you.I’m about 7.1 EBPL,5 mid and 5.6 base. At your size now is that considered of large size for what you’ve seen or for the reactions you get? Do you think 5 is average for girth? Is your boyfriend at 6 girth one of the most you’ve seen and an extreme outlier? Thanks again for your insight into this.

Mandingo looked about 4.5” nbp flaccid based on his height. I’m speaking of the Playboy TV interview he did where he took off his pants.

Anybody that grows to twice their flaccid length or more is a grower. So if Mandingo is 4.5” in flaccid state to ~9-10” in erect state, he is a grower.

Girth is harder to guess. My base girth is now 5, and even before that I heard a lot that I have a fat dick. I think it’s a visual trick, the upper part is thinner so the base looks thick. Six is thick, but I’ve seen thicker. My best guess would be that 5 is the upper end of average, but I don’t really know.

Just to throw a bit more light on what northmiamitop has said so far in this thread… some posts from the/my forgotten past. I think we probably concur from a point of experiential knowledge.

Yes, completely agree with you firegoat. Body position does make a big difference, like you said. I have a tendency to push a guys knees toward their chest, had not realized it but that makes their dick look smaller. Like doggy style, from bending over.
