'Size Matters' references in society

I did think of a couple phrases that do disparage vagina’s but they pale in comparison to how many there are for penis size references.

“Loose lips sink ships”

“Like throwing a hot dog down a hall way.”

Ironically, I was just watching the news at work on CNN and the first words that came out of the female newscaster’s mouth was “loose lips sink ships”, referring to a building collapse in NY. I just couldn’t believe she said that, I tried so hard not to laugh.

The great elm.

"Loose lips sink ships” comes from a WW2[?] campaign to make civilians aware of potential fifth columnists who might overhear idle gossip, say about a boyfriend departing on a warship at a particular time, and use it against the war effort.

8-ball, I was wondering how you were going to present this, and what your angle was. Here’s a post from you that sheds some light on your perspective, I think.

With all these messages out there, a guy is basically told he’s an insecure little cry baby if he can’t just accept his size when we know all along that it’s a pretty big deal to a lot of females.

I would not want to help someone put together a study that argues that size DOES NOT matter, because I believe that size can make a difference, even though mate selection should not be based on size alone (for a life partner).

I do agree that women, or people and general, are stupid for scoffing at men that feel insecure about there size, when messages all around them say that size matters. A man’s own sexual experiences with women usually tell him about how his size fits into most vaginas, and how much pressure it exerts. He doesn’t need the media to throw it in his face every day.

I don’t like that society can throw “size matters” into your face, then not hear you complain about your endowment. Furthermore, I get frustrated by the politically correct fools that think that size cannot make a difference during a sexual encounter!

The point will definitely be that size matters. If it didn’t, we wouldn’t be bombarded by this on a daily basis like we are. We are going to took a look at all of the hypocricy.

And what do you hope to accomplish— what outcome are you looking for?

Things are still in the very early stages and we aren’t yet 100% sure about all of the details just yet. We will update the group here along the way though as we know more.

Someone remember Son of the Beach?

Chip had his massive penis rolled around his shorts.

I see ‘Size Matters’ references on almost a daily basis these days.

As awstev alluded, a real case in point are the reality shows like Big Brother. Here in the UK, I can recall two contestants, Pete and Brian (both of whom, incidentally, went on to win the show) who had big cocks. As soon as this was found out by the fellow contestants, it was the only subject of conversation for most of the rest of the series, in and out of the house. The cameras were focused on their groins for the rest of the shows.

What really got me was the reactions made on the spin off shows ‘Big Brother’s Little Brother’ and Big Brother’s Big Mouth’. Virtually EVERY female contributor, be it presenter, celebrity guest or audience member, would hammer home their support for both these contestants, citing their size as an overriding issue.

This really stuck in my brain when I saw it, as bear in mind these were not adverts designed to diminish male confidence, nor lines from scripted TV shows - this was a case of up front ‘bigger is better’ mentality that is usually hidden from the public concious.

Big Brother is not on in this country (Aus) anymore. The final years were too prudish and weren’t worth watching anyway. About 3 or 4 years ago there were some good years though, and I watched a bit with the now ex gf. I only watched occasionally, but there was one year I watched alot, and it was a good indication of what society is like. Keep in mind this is the more shallow, superficial aspect of our society (the people who go on wanting to be famous), but still that’s a key part of our society these days. Especially when talking if size matters or not.

In that year there was “the hung guy”, who was also the alpha male. He was a bully and an asshole but he got the most attention. He was at least 6 inches flaccid. And said erect he was 27cm (he was BS’ing as he was a grower) but he was still very large.

In the showers, the girls would randomly decide to go into the bathrooms while he was in there. And make jokes and ask him to get erect. It was a constant throughout the whole show, lot’s of attention was put onto him. Lot’s of dick jokes and sex talk. Lot’s of funny facial expressions from scared/amazed female eyes. :D Alot of the girls would tell him that it would take 20 mins just to get it in. He would have to move it 1cm to one side and then wedge, move 1 cm to the other side and then wedge.. etc. Like moving a sofa up a flight of stairs.

The guy who eventually won, was known to be on the small side, he would always shower with pants on except for one or two times. Dead giveaway. He was still popular though both with the girls, in a way hiding something made them more interested to see. But he also had a personality they liked, and was very fit as he was a Rugby player.

There was an overwhealming theme of size matters throughout the whole season, lots of sex talk, lots of perving. There is no doubt that if you are packing in a communal environment like that, it draws alot of positive attention to you. In a way though, you become the sideshow freak that people like to stare and point. Not bad for the ego, that’s for sure. But the guys that were desired the most over the long term, were either average(most) or small (the one that won the cash at the end). I guess it reinforces what most people say here at Thunders, that size helps and is a nice bonus part of your package, but it’s the package as a whole, looks, body, personality, money etc that attracts the female attention. They love talking about the big ones, but don’t always chase them. A surprising number had admitted to anal sex, and the theme when they talked about that was smaller is better. But it was clear that if they were all in the shower together, they’d rather be staring at the big one.

— In a somewhat recent episode of “The Office” Michael wants his employees to hold a roast for him. They’re all telling jokes about him at the roast. Pam gets up and makes a few jokes about Michael and then says how one time she walked in on Michael when he was changing and she saw his thing and it was really small. Than she said if it was an iPod it would be a Nano.

— I’ve heard several times in movies where a guy says he has a PHD…Pretty Huge Dick…

— In the “40-Year Old Virgin” when they’re at the clinic in the support group, there is one kid who is acting like he’s all that and asks about Magnum condoms, and the father says, “Oh (name), you have a small penis” in a tone like, what are you taking about.

— In “Good Will Hunting” in the beginning when they’re at the bar, Ben Affleck’s character asks the girl he sleeps with alot “Why didn’t I get on top of you last night?” She replies “Like I’d waste my energy spreading my legs for that Tootsie Roll dick?…Fuck you and your Irish curse.”

While the origin of the phrase is true, I am only saying in slang terms, I have heard it in reference to how loose a woman’s vagina can become and some dudes use it as a derogatory statement to warn other dudes not to sleep with a chick because she may be “loose” implying that she sleeps around and is stretched out as a result.
