'Size Matters' references in society

I honestly never assumed “size matters” was referring to penis size. I think size does matter in almost all aspects to everything>?

Starting: (2/1/06) (nbpel=7.8) (bpel=8.15) (eg=5 3/16)

06/29/07: (nbpel=8 1/2) (bpel=9) (mid eg=6) (base eg 6.25)

There are a lot more size references in Anger Management (forgot about that one..) Sandler notices how big his gf’s ex is at the urinal, but it turns out she never actually saw it. He spends the rest of the movie scared that she might find out how big her ex actually was, because then he will appearantly lose her. (Or at least that seems to be what he believes.) Later in the movie Sandler asks two pornstars if size matters, one says she likes it “when they’re really big”, and the other one likes it better “when they’re enormous”.

I just (vauguely) remembered a movie trailer from a year or two ago and I think the plot was a guy has a job with his current GF’s ex. If I remember correctly the guy was in a wheelchair and the BF makes a comment about how the guy was paralized from the waist down. She makes a facial expression and comments about how “not everything was paralized” and then it cuts to another scene where the ex is changing or peeing or something and this guy must catch a glipse of his dick.

Does anyone remember this and can you tell me the title of the movie?

Disagree Papsmeerster: Maybe in Indiana but here in the deep south, I have never seen a woman driving a pick up truck with size matters on the rear window. Not to say some mans wife or girlfriend may drive his pick up truck, but all the time that I have noticed and it happens alot here, its a younger man driving that truck and we here in the south know what he means.

*In Scary Movie (the first one, I think) there’s the spoof on “I know what you did last summer”, where a guy finds a picture of his own small penis with “I know” written on it. For some reason he shows it to his friends and of course they start laughing. (Even his girlfriend, which I found a little strange)

*In American Beauty, Mena Suvari jokingly says she bets Kevin Spacey has a big one, and later in the movie she asks Thora Birch if the guy she’s seeing has a big dick.

*There’s the character “Meat” in Porky’s. And one of the other characters keeps getting teased for being small. IIRC the movie begins with the guy measuring himself in bed.

A funny thing in that movie is that the Mena Suvari character spends most of the film pretending to this super-experienced girl. We find out at the end that she’s actually a virgin.

In the third Austin Powers movie, “Goldmember”, the character Mini-Me is referred to as being like a tripod and as far as I remember Britney Spears is later seen flirting with Mini-Me. In fact I think there are several penis references in the Austin Powers films.

Also in the episode of FRIENDS where Chandler is sleeping with Rachel’s boss, and Rachel finds him handcuffed naked in the boss’ office, Rachel says that she’ll claim Chandler is “this generation’s Milton Berle” if he’ll go back to being handcuffed after she had uncuffed him.

This is absolutely true. Just like the inverse of the size matters concept, which is pussy tightness. Can you imagine if there were signs around like, “tightness matters” or “it better be snug” and the like? Women’s groups across the world would cry foul, and be enraged at the insensitivity of it all. Well said 8-Ball.

Paraphrased: It is not the critic who counts: The credit belongs to the man in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes up short again and again, who, at the best, knows the triumph of high achievement, and who, at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat.

I almost forgot the Just Shoot Me episode where David Spade’s character thinks he’s average, but he’s actually huge. We find out that he thought he was average compared to the PORN actors. :) It was a really funny episode.

I remember that one, it was hilarious.

Reminds me of a few thunders’ members.

I think there’s some sort of wide unspoken agreement that vaginas are more “private” than penises. Maybe it’s based in some traditional view of the sexes, men aren’t sensitive like women etc. There are famous men (actors etc) that are known as being big (maybe also a few as being small), but there are no famous women that are known as being tight or wide. I remember for instance Britney Spears made some sort of small penis comment about Justin Timberlake in an interview.. Could you imagine Justin Timberlake making a wide vagina comment about Britney? Some female stars have been quite vocal about their preferences when it comes to size (although most probably won’t say stuff like that publicly), for instance Janet Jackson pretty much admitted to being a size queen, that she would fake a headache etc “if the guy wasn’t packing”. I’m sure she had a lot of young impressionable male fans back then. I can’t imagine someone from N’sync or whatever stating that they only dated girls with tight pussies or big tits for that matter. Because that might damage their fans’ self image, plus it would be “in poor taste” etc

Two and Half Men

Charlie’s mother has made a number of references to size. One episode Charlie’s mother is seeing a man which Charlie and Allen get attached to. She dumps him because he was inadequate in size. Her current lover comes out of the bedroom and she tells Charlie and Allen that he’s the biggest she has had. The guy dies on the couch and Charlie’s mom get on the phone and calls the man with the small penis, the man she was willing to give up due to his size.

Reminds me of another episode of two and a half men.

Charlie and Allen are helping Jake to buy condoms, later they find out that he is too big for regular condoms and needs a larger size.

Doesnt really concern the “Size matters references in society” topic but oh well :)
