What was your hanger?

I’ve used a Captain’s Wench and then upgraded to a Bib.

My Bib is close on 7 years old now. Still in perfect workable condition. I’m using it currently.

What would you say the main difference is between the Bib Hanger and the Wench, Monty? I ask because I currently use the Wench and have not had a bad thing to say about it yet, but I keep hearing that the Bib is the best. Just seeing if there is something maybe that I don’t know that may be useful to me other than the fact that Bib himself used it.

The Bib offers more finite adjustment capabilities. The grip on your shaft is a sure one, and it is easier to use because after you get it dialed in you only have one latch to tighten.

Now having said that: If the Wench is working well for you or anyone else what more is needed? The Bib certainly costs more and you get some things but for all intents and purposes it doesn’t make any difference except if your going to move into higher weights like 20 pounds plus you better have a Bib because it do it more efficiently.

Got it. We’ll see what happens here in the future. I’ve essentially started over as far as hanging to where I am at about 7.5lbs right now. It’s not fatiguing me but I don’t want to rush things like I did before.

I'm consistent in spurts, but gains are undeniable!

2007: BPEL 5.5" / MSEG 4.7" / BG 5.5"

2017: BPEL 6.8" / MSEG 5.3" / BG 6"

Man. I let it go for a while and then started pumping. Realized that the gains were not cemented so I am back to hanging. I don’t think I was hanging long enough before and it seems now that I’ve re-visited that everything is working a lot better now. I, right now, am hanging with the 7.5lbs for 3 sets of 20 minutes each and then while I’m cooking and getting ready for work, I hang for 2 sets of 20 minutes with 2.5lbs (kinda like an ADS). Then at night before I go to bed, I hang for one more set at 7.5lbs for another 20 minutes. Basically, I’m hanging for like 2 hours a day now.

PE Weights

Hey, Monty when you wear the PE weights for 8-15 hours a day was this 8-15 hours straight or did you have to take off the weights for blood recirculation purposes. Did you have any break incriments? It seems for me I can only wear my golf weigths for 3-4 hours straight with constant kegeling before the glans start to get numb.
