Something I I’M doing is in every set I stop when I hit ten minutes lose the hanger to let some circulation take place and tightening and go for the next ten minutes with ten minutes rest between sets.<

This sounds really good just starting out. Instead of smaller sets, just releasing for a bit then re-tightening. Good idea.

I hung itensivly for five on and then had two off. Sometimes on the weekend, the two off, I would hang a couple of sets, if I had a little privacy. This seemed to help starting back on Mondays with soreness and discoloration.

Be sure to keep good records and even pictures if you can. Pictures are the one thing I am sorry I did not do. For my own use, of course.

7.5 lbs. is a little agressive so soon. Not too bad though. Just take it slow and as long as you feel the work, do not move up.

Bib thanks for the quick reply. I really like hanging and I will keep on it in tell I reach all of my ELNBP goals. So you Think that three sets of 20 minutes six days per week will be OK? I went up on weight because I really didn’t feel the five pounds that heavy. I’M hanging BTC only and it feels totally different than hanging standing up I think that it those give you a better work out. Ten By Seven

"Hitting" Different Lig groups

I wanted to get your thoughts about “exercising” different ligs. I’ve been hanging exclusively for six months w/o siginificant results. I usually use the starter( I’ve got the regular also, so I’m expecting BIG things) in the BTC stretch. Goindeep recommended hanging through fatigue. I’ve been doing this for a month and can really feel the effect, and expect results. Boxcar23 recommended side stretches. I did this and felt around my penis and can feel that there are ligaments running from the side of the penis down each side of the penis and attaching to the pubic area on each side well behind the scrotum just in front of the anus. These are really pulled tight by the side stretch but it seems to me not by the BTC.

Is it, for increase in length, just as important to stretch these ligs as those on the top of penis?

Yes, this is along the lines of what I term divide and conquer. Rather than pulling in one direction the entire time, vary the angles of pull so that diferent lig bundles, and even different fibers get the stress.

Having said that, I do feel like BTC and straight out will provide the most gains, but there are many different angles associated with those two terms. Personally, I varied the angles between every set and sometimes within a set. The vast majority were some form of BTC or straight out.

First, give me exactly what you have been doing. Days per week, time per day, lbs., results. Also and this is very important, what you feel when you hang and after you have finished. Are you sore the next day, etc. Have you stretched much skin yet? Also, things like heat, Vit C, other supps, and other PE that you might be doing. Give as much information as possible.

This is what i have been doing:
m-friday pm 3 sets @ 20 min each(btc). i started about 2 months ago when i received the bib (starter), but i wasn’t on a routine till about 3 weeks ago. i started this routine using 10 lbs the first two sets and 7.5 the last set. now i am upto 15lbs the first set and 12.5 the last set. I feel tremendous stretch in my ligs especially when i contract my stocmach muscles or when i lean back a little. feels like the lig is getting thinner and when i finish a set and take the weight off, it feels like one of those intense triceps exercises that leaves me sore. the only thing is that in the morning i feel nothing different. for the first 2 weeks i felt soreness under the pubic bone now i only feel it when i contract my abs. my stretch lengthBP has increased to 7 inches but i don’t see any EL gains yet. i am currently taking, glucosamine (i just started that this week), tribulus, yohimbe, and dhea. i also try to use a heated sock of rice when i hang. is what i’m feeling under the pubic bone my inner penis?

Probably not. It is most likely the susp or fund ligs. You can palpate just behind and in front of your balls to see if your inner penis is sore.

After only three weeks, I would hesitate to tell you to do anything different right now. Unless you can hang more sets at reduced weight, or use an ADS after hanging. If you have seen an increase in stretched flaccid, erect gains are probably close behind. Without a lot more chronological information, I would hesitate to go up in weight at this time.

What about skin? Do you feel skin stretch while hanging and after? While hanging BTC, in the base skin loose? If so, can you feel that the ligs underneath the skin are tight? Do you vary the area of hanger attachment to concentrate on skin and ligs seperately?

Without being able to quantify soreness, this sounds pretty normal. Often, I would not be sore the next morning after hanging all the previous day. But then, sometimes I would be a little sore, and fatigue very quickly. It changes from day to day.

I try to read enough to avoid repetitive questions. I hang btc and when I feel it’s time to increase weight, I do and I don’t feel sharp pain, experience numbness, discoloration etc. But soreness is extreme while moving up in weight (while hanging).

Well, I guess “extreme soreness” could be termed pain. You should be comfortable while hanging. The soreness should come as the sets progress, and then you should go down in weight till it is comfortable again. Then afterward, you should be somewhat sore. I don’t like the sound of extreme soreness.

Alrighty then. Now this could be a really good discussion. Yes, when you go up in weight, you are more likely to stretch more skin etc. Actually more of everything. As the weight goes up, there is more force to act upon all the tissues.

It sounds as if you might be trying to “take to big of a bite”. WTF does that mean? Well, some guys talk about placing a hanger at the base of their penis and putting on twenty pounds. Great. So, if they cannot completely grasp the internal structures at the base, the hanger and wrap and skin slide down some and soon the skin alone is taking the entire twenty pounds. That is “taking too big of a bite” with too much weight. It is also too efficient.

It is great to only stretch one thing at a time. But when it is only skin, it can get uncomfortable. You should become really adept at transferring a little stress to the inner penis, or learning to reduce weight somewhat to stress the skin less, when only stressing skin.

I have more to say, but my mind is in neutral. Talk amoungst yourselves.

It probably took me 2 months to stretch the skin at my base. I am still stretching it to a lesser extent to accomodate my gains. My biggest problem right now is stretching my scrotum to pull it back along the bottom of my shaft - again due to the gains. It seems that I am always stretching something, but that’s what PE is all about - isn’t it? Good luck.

I think I do what you are suggesting. As I go up in weight (1 lb. increments) I try to hang at the new weight for 3 sets of 20 min. which the first day primarily stretches skin- at least on the first set. Always when I go up in weight I am now getting used to the fact that the first set or two is going to burn because of skin stretch. This burning lasts at least 2 days, sometimes 3. Most of my time at the new max is spent straight out because I can’t handle the skin stretch BTC for a day or two. After my first 3 sets I have gotten to the point where my routine is to take 1 lb off and hang at my old max for as many sets as possible to hit the ligs. I also place the hanger at different points on the shaft for each set. When I am getting fatigued I will go OTL with my new max for a set or two, then drop down 2 x 1 lb increments until I am hanging BTC with 1 lb. below my old max.- 2 lb. less than the new max until fatigue. I am going to stop now because I am not sure this makes sense :)

skin and internal stretch

I stretched skin by hanging close to the base for the first six months maybe more of hanging and probably sacrificed some gains because of it. However I’ll tell you what I have had zero issue with skin stretch because of this approach.

2 don’t minimize the wrap in this whole equation. If the wrap is good then the skin stretch might not be so rad.

Understand this, it is universally understood that the limiting factor in a high percentage of hanging efforts ISN’T the weight but rather the wrap or attachment point which consequently may cause the skin stretch discomfort.

Can you please comment on this further regarding the wrap and placement. I do understand about the location close to the base stretching the most skin, but I am wondering what location(s) and wrapping techniques will minmize it. I pretty much use the wrapping tutorial as my wrapping method. Thanks :)

at the beginning i was getting alot of skin stretch, but that was because i was wrapping wrong and not setting the hanger right. I read and reread you FAQ page and now i wrap very lightly and i pull the skin back and attach high, about 1.5 - 2 inch from head. the hanger slides just a little. once its in that place, i tighten a little more. like this i get no pain and minimal blood pooling the head with 15 lbs it was very confortable. my skin is very thick so i have to push hard at the base to feel it and the lig is very sore. the base skin isn’t that lose but its not to tight and i can’t feel it stretching. I always try varing the position of the hanger, what i do now that brings the most confort is i attach right where the the wraps end and the skin begins, so some of the skin (about 1/8 - 1/4) is touching the hanger. so so confortable.
