Great read, thanks for posting and answering my questions over the past few months

Marvelous thread, 5.5. I plan on running a full cycle in December-January to see where my BPFSL takes me.

Really nice summary of your routine!

Did I understand correct that you cover all your shaft with the silicon sleeve to protect from heat direct against the skin? That’s opposite from the guys using US that want as much shaft as possible to heat.

Yep. The pad gets hot enough to leave some red marks. So I cover a good 90% of my shaft with the sleeve.

How are you measuring? Recording 1 mm changes is very precise. I find that my glans swells after using the vacuum device, which would falsely lead to a gain in length of perhaps a few mm. I’ve got the heating pad on order, going to take a couple weeks off of doing anything, except pumping, then I want to get started following your routine. But measuring accurately is troubling me.

Just measure consistently. You’ll get the hang of it. I measure about 420 am every morning. Same time everyday you do PE.

I’ve been doing a 5.5 inspired protocol for a couple weeks and the method I’ve landed on is to put my phone on a tripod and take a photo from the side. Zoom way in and line up the tip of the glans with the mm markings. This also lets me know if my penis is perpendicular to my body and if the ruler is parallel to the penis.

As for accounting for glans swelling I think the most important thing is consistency. If, say, 2mm of your 6mm strain is swelling that’s fine as long as you’re doing the same thing every time. If you’re seeing creep in your pre and post then keep doing what you’re doing. We’re less interested in the “true” length of the penis in some metaphysical sense than getting a consistent measurement and seeing how that changes over time.

At some point, you can find me and longerstretch started the take measurements from retroglandular sulcus. Excluding the glans induced variation.

It is the accurate way of monitoring incremental elongation.
The absolute BPFSL is more or less irrelevant.

When connective tissue is stretched within therapeutic temperatures ranging 102 to 110 F (38.9- 43.3 C), the amount of structural weakening produced by a given amount of tissue elongation varies inversely with the temperature. This is apparently related to the progressive increase in the viscous flow properties of the collagenous tissue when it is heated. (Warren et al (1971,1976)

2. Stimulation to semi
3. Insert semi into cup, snap silicone into place.

5. Apply vacuum then tug/pull on cup. Add vacuum if required.
6. Wrap heat pad around shaft. Remember velcro strap

I can only fit in the middle sized cup but I have to be completely flaccid and even then it may take a very light coating of lube. Not sure what I’d be losing by not going in semi to the large cup. Maybe the vacuum helps with gland expansion?

I followed the video on the total man website. There are probably many different ways to get it done.

Wrapping up my two week decon and working the plan for 3 weeks until a forced holiday break again. Thanks again for all your work on this.
