Hanging with FIRe

When you do pre stretch for strain how hard are you pulling? Are you trying to get max stretch number pre and post? My BPFSL pre and post numbers are all over the place because I’m not sure on how hard to stretch.

I put on the vac hanger and then wrap the pad around my shaft (cold). Then I start executing the protocol. Let’s say 10 mins of cold stretch followed by 30mins of heat. I turn on the pad on the 10th minute. No preheat. That’s why I have always targeted at least 30mins of heat. It takes a few minutes for thing to come up to temperature.

BPEL: 5.5" --> 7.9" ; BPFSL: ~5.6" --> 8.5"

I pull relatively hard. The key is to use a tension that you can duplicate consistently.

Interesting thread. Thank you.

1. Which angle would you recommend?

2. Do you have any input on girth work?`

I’m going to resume hanging myself in 2022 after a LONG break and expect to make great gains moving forward. For the first time in my life I actually have a life that supports PE, i.e., a remote work arrangement.

Best regards.

That is correct. I do not perform manual stretches, jelqs or any tugging that cannot be measured or logged.

I read the studies on extenders. They showed verifiable success with tension over time. I already had a standing desk and a decent amount of privacy so I decided to apply the lite weight (less than 4kg) approach of extending to hanging. My basic plan was to add an additional 6oz to my weight set every 2 weeks and to stay below 4kg during one year of hanging.

That’s how it is done.

I am amazed that newbie routine is still recommended. I thought years ago that it was outdated, not good, and straight forward dangerous with it’s jelqing. I would always recommend some form of light stretching with quantifiable force and gentle attachment.

My own thought was too to use quantifiable force, but my mistake was attachment to dick. I tried bib’s hangers for way too long 6 months. And over year later found way better ways to put pulling force to penis.

I only hang straight down.

No girth work. I’ve gained a bit of girth over the year.

Any opinion on the SO position? I know for example Bib thinks it is an inferior position due to both the tunica and ligs resisting together. For me, it’s the most convenient position for multi-tasking with desk work and I have gained with it in the past.

As for girth work it’s my experience too that hanging does increase girth at least a bit.

I was mostly curious what kind of girth work you would eventually consider seeing how you seem to prefer a quantifiable approach. I suppose pumping with a gauge would be the only girth work that one could perform in that manner.

Thanks.

I hang SO. I think it’s an easier angle to allow the heat pad on without hitting my balls. As you say it is also good for desk work. I have done 2 cycles with this angle and gained roughly 1cm BPEL in each cycle

That’s great.

How long were each cycle and approximately how much hanging per day/week?

I’ve had some good gains in the past with SO, so will definitely be using it again when I start up. Because of the convenience of multi-tasking I can get in more sets than I would be able to with BTC or SD.

I started using the idea that I should take a break after the cumulative strain gets near 8%, this seems to work for me. The first cycle was 4 weeks and the second was 6 weeks. I only had 10 days off in-between, probably should have waited longer. Currently on a 30 day break.

I usually hang for 105 minutes straight but I am going to reduce this to 90 minutes when I start my next cycle. I hang 5 days a week and take the weekend off. I do plenty of edging too, not sure it helps.

I have loads of time to hang so I did experiment with 2 sets and even 3 sets in a day but that wasn’t beneficial.

Why wait until January for a decon. Start your decon today and give this a try beginning in February. Given your experience a 6 week decon should be better than a 4 week, yes?

Do you know if he took a decon break, and if so, how long? I hung up to 15lbs last year, and stopped around April 2021. I picked back up hanging 2 months ago, and worked my way back up to 7lbs. After reading your post, I want to take a decon break and follow your methodology. I just hope I haven’t permanently toughened my tissues.

Also, anyone find a good far IR pad? Thermedic is out of stock. I emailed their support to see if they will have it back in stock. I also emailed total man about their IR heating pad to see if it is near or far.

I ordered the Total Man one because the TherMedic stock on Amazon seemed to be too unreliable and I would like to start with this method in February.

If Total Man responded to you about their IR heating pad less us know. Is Far Infrared preferable to Near?

I am really hoping to make some gains when I start. I’ve been on a decon since early December and had progressed up to 9-10 lbs vacuum hanging so I hope these 2 months will be good enough for decon before I start this method. I’m also really hoping I haven’t toughened my tissues. In fact I hope thats not even possible.

I’ll update this thread with their response. I actually already have the pad, but wanted to confirm with them.

From what I’ve read, FIR penetrates deeper into the skin. Also, I did read an answer on Quora that FIR penetrates silicone, so we should be fine using this over our sleeves.

Would the Bib hanger and similar not be compatible with this method because it’s more difficult to heat the entire shaft while hanging?

Unlike some others I can hang very comfortably with the Bib, but due to the bulky design it’s hard to heat the entire shaft while strapped down. I do not own a vac-hanger and past efforts with VAC-ADS have been rather painful, but if it’s the way to go with this method I’ll have to go with that.

I’m very much deconditioned after years off, so want to make sure I do this correctly for some easy gains.

Thanks in advance.
