Hanging with FIRe

Thread Closed

I added this to my favorites.

Good idea of passive hanging, especially for newbie hard gainers.

If I started completely new today, this would be probably what I would try first.

If the gains stall, then I would switch to the active ultrasound version I am currently using.

I hope this makes the principles more accessible for the average person :-) .

I was looking at ankle weights like this one https://www.ama … /dp/B0747ZTVML/ where each weight is .55 lbs. What’s a good alternative?

Those weights look good. I don’t think that incrementing weight in 8oz steps vs my 6oz steps will make a huge difference. Your weights look to be more cost effective as well.

And I’ll definitely need to buy a new heating pad as the one I have is far too large for this method and I have no idea what the heat settings are. It was just a cheap one from the pharmacy. I was looking at the recommended TherMedic one on Amazon but could only find the 7x4 inch one and not the 6x3 inch one. https://www.ama … /dp/B016ZKBY8A/ But my BPFSL is a little over 8 inches so the 7x4 may work. Any recommended alternatives?

Thermedic is the only brand that I have tried. The 4x8 will probably do fine. Just avoid super heating the vac chamber.

I’ll probably need to get a pulley system so I can hang straight out which sounds preferable to me than standing up and straight down and BTC probably won’t work with the balls and heating pad getting in the way of each other.

My last concern is that I’m using the AutoExtender VacHanger3 which I absolutely love because of the ingenious (IMO at least) vacuum cone design which has made putting the device on and taking it off SO easy. Is there any reason this method wouldn’t work with the VacHanger3? The vacuum cone sits behind the glans and is about 2 inches long and with the vacuum cup on about half an inch to a full inch of the vacuum cone is just sitting outside the vacuum cup. SOME NSFW PICS AHEAD Autoextender Penis Enlargement Device

No comment on Straight down vs straight out. I’ve only done straight down while standing.
No experience with the VacHanger3. Try not to super heat the vac chamber with the pad.

Exactly. I have a pulley system and do straight out for this reason. I tried BTC but pad was annoying my balls. Pulley set ups are easy to get going

Thanks 5.5^2 for your detailed posts. Being from the same profession, it is something I can relate to and appreciate.

Currently I am working on other aspects (I.e., EQ). I do believe your posits have merit, and I intend to follow a similar course. However, I would like to ask, have you maintained the same weights in each of your cycles 1, 2, and 3. (.1MPa to .17MPa). This part I am a bit unclear on.

Or have they increased?

The reason I ask, is that the strain numbers will decrease over time, no?

Another good question.

My original goal was to mirror the tension from an extender using a homemade hanger. If you’ve read the thread, you know that did not work out. Switching to a vac hanger made the approach possible. My plan was always to add 6oz every 2-3 weeks. After all tissue adapts. The goal was stay under ~8lbs/3.6kg while adding enough tension to keep things moving.

My working numbers from the load_calculator are:
.1 MPa - 3.4 lbs
.17 MPa - 5.8 lbs

I have consistently been lighter than the load calculator numbers. In fact after 5 cycles my heat weight is finally 5.6 lbs.

The first 2 cycles captured my newbie gains. Both cycles showed .5+in increases in BPEL. Cycle 3-4 both showed a .3” increase in BPEL. I expect the same from my current cycle.

Below are the max weights used.
Cycle #1: 3.4 -> 4.1 lbs
Cycle #2: 4.5 -> 5.25 lbs
Cycle #3: 5.25 -> 6.0 lbs
Cycle #4: 5.6 -> 6.3 lbs
Current: 6.3 -> 6.75 lbs (planned)

For the cycles 2-5 multiply the max weight by 80% to get the approximate weight under heat. I typically used 60% of the ‘heat weight’ as the cold stretch weight.

Thanks for that breakdown, very helpful to my overall understanding.

However, I think I am not seeing the link to maintaining the strain numbers (2-5%) that longerstretch discusses. Does your penis eventually condition itself at some point, to these weights (.1-.17MPa)?

Perhaps I am missing how and when to apply the strain numbers into the routine. My understanding is to measure pre-routine, then take your tape off and measure post-routine. (At least how I see strain measurement, as the time to take off the sleeve and chamber each weight increase can add significantly to ones time commitment.). Over time, my strain % will go down, so without increasing weight (something to avoid), one can not maintain the 2-5% strain.

Using Krypas load calculator, once set, there is no accounting for natural strengthening.

Thanks for your time.

Well I got some ankle weights up to 10 lbs where each weight is .50 lbs which is exactly 8 oz I guess. I also have a large ball stretcher that weighs 960 grams or 2.12 lbs or 33.86 oz. So I should be good on the weight side.

Now I need the Infrared heating pad. Sadly it looks like the recommended TherMedic one is sold out on Amazon and I have no idea wherever else to purchase it from.

Also need to get a pulley system but that should be no trouble.

After weeks of waiting I should now have all the recommended equipment that 5.5squared used. With the hanger already here, now the thermedic heatpad finally arrived. Thing is, I’m not exactly sure how it’s used. Can anyone give me some heads up? I attached a picture of what has come to me.

Hi varna, what is the white cord? I received my Thermedic heat pad, but did not get that piece. In any event, I just started up a continuation of this “research thread” and will be doing the same routine.

For use, I wrap it around my penis, and then use Velcro to keep in place. I haven’t removed the gel yet, and have left it on.

What are you doing for taping?

No idea what the white cord is for mate, got it 5 hours ago. For taping, I’m using what the guy in totalman is doing, hate that part to be fair.

From my understanding you use the heatpad in the middle 30 minutes of a hanging session.

So 15 minutes without the heating pad at Weight #1, add Weight #2 and the heating pad for 30 minutes, then remove the heating pad and add Weight #3.

Could you tell us the dimensions of that heating pad? I see that’s the only one available at the moment as the slightly larger rectangular one is sold out.

Oh, sounds like you’re from Australia. That may be an adapter if you use a different plug than me in the USA.

How many of you guys have purchased the thermedic heatpad 5.5 recommends? If any, can you please shoot me a DM :)

No idea on the HiPad or white cord.
I only have the Thermedic pad and the black wall brick. FYI I use the wall brick now because it gets hotter faster than just plugging the usb into my laptop.
I also peal off the gel sections on the pad. They are not sticky enough to hold the pad in place.

I know you are not in the US, but here is a link to the velcro strips that I use to secure the pad in place.

Think I get it, just the additional equipment they added into my package got me confused. If I’m doing it with the USB only, how long do I wait for it to heat before putting it on?
