Another possible option is to change the location of the stress. If you put a hanger on and just apply weight and start hanging, most stress is placed at the glans which is obviously causing the trouble. Maybe try lowering the weight and put a traditional fulcrum in there. Another great option that lowers the glans stress is to place the hanger on as normal, apply some tension, and put secondary pressure directly on your ligs. It is similar to using an A-stretch or the like. Using this method I can get lig fatigue in under 10 minutes with a minimum of glans pressure. I’m pretty sure SS4 was a fan of fulcrums. Let’s look at the formula of Bib’s you are following. On paper you are doing exactly the right thing, but your body is responding with this swelling you described. That’s a Physiological Indicator (PI’s) that you are going too fast. Your body is trying to say “Hold on”.

If you drop the weight down to say 15 lbs and do three sets - just as an experiment - and you find that you don’t get the swelling then that is good. Just because it doesn’t seem as intense doesn’t mean it isn’t doing something. Slowly build the weight up. If you get that swelling then you know you’ve gone too far. Dial it back. You want to find the edge between stressing your body out so it reacts, and stressing it out to just before it does so.

Look at it from the vantage point of physical therapy. The whole conceit behind physical therapy is that you are making minor adjustments to compensate for the damage done be the stress: in TIME your body builds itself back up.

I think this explain the problem of most “no-gainers”, like Lost-Guitar, who was used to hang 30+ lb. and do a lot of stress of his penis without results. I think that your post must be placed as a major thread in the hanger’s forum. There are a lot of hangers like me over there!

Thank you TPS. I tried fulcrum today, but without applying weight just making kind of manual stretch. It works pretty good. For now I will continue with the stretches till my frenulum recovers fully. Then I may try real hanging again.

By the way the one of the biggest problem of the Bib (even by the Starter) is that it is too big and grabs on a too big area. I would prefer something smaller. Redi-stretcher is better in this respect, but I would prefer even the Redi to be able to grab on a smaller area, so the internal structures could be grabbed better and the stretch would be more effective.
Are you planing to make Redi with a little bit smaller surface?

Great replys from My Happy and others here. I have hung over 30 pounds uncut, and though it took some adaptation as mentioned, this is clear evidence to me that uncut hangers can hang enough weight to get gains. It takes a different approach. In PE you will get bored of hearing “everyone is different” and “individual results may vary”. Increasing weight by 1-2 pounds is a maximum in my opinion. It might well be that some people take longer to condition. The things you mention, juri, seem to be symptoms that the soft tissues are unable to handle weight which the hard tissues are able to.

While it is true that the foreskin can cause a lot of problems with hanging, it is also true that with time and experience these problems can be overcome. 10 minute sets, extra time warming up, better wrapping techniques are good examples. Adapt the experiences of others to your own dick, to make a personalised routine.

Also, even though cut hangers have it easier, there are still areas that need to be conditioned, the glans and the skin where the hanger is attached can cause problems. So building up slowly is for everyone, not just us uncut guys.

I haven’t used the Redi-Stretcher, but when I met AndroNYC he couldn’t stop raving about it. It does look like a very good device. I’m saving my pennies.

It does come in two sizes and I think the smaller size would probably be good for you. There has to be a balance struck between the economy of it’s size and having enough surface area to grip effectively. Dino9X7 was one of the beta testers and he has a LOT of experience hanging, his review of it was very positive.

I think for people who aren’t all that experienced or who are having difficulty wrapping effectively it would be a good starting place/problem solver. And if you get both sets of pads as you graduate to heavier weight it can accomodate you.

Why not PM AndroNYC or Dino9X7 or tps himself and ask some more specific questions?

Regarding the Redi-Stretcher, I was in the possession of one. I liked it very much and am sure it is the best stretching device I have ever seen, but it seems that it couldn’t apply the stress on the internal tissues so that the grip stays firm without slipping and at the end staring to stretch more skin than my penis. The same never happens when I grab with my hand – “OK grip”. I tried to analyze why it happens. I came to the conclusion that the only difference between the grip of the Redi and my hand was the surface. My fingers have about the half of the surface the Redi grips / jaws (the part that grips the penis – I don’t know the name of it), therefore my fingers can go deeper and grab the internal structures of the Redis, what Redi-stretcher because of his bigger surface cannot.

If TPS makes this improvement it would work for me very well. I have thought lately of buying severs of this sites/grips/jaws (whatever) and experiment trough cutting the length of the grips, but that would be a pretty expensive experiment (the priece of a pice is $30).

Could you tell me how much extra foreskin one needs to get a good stretch (in SO position), without skin stretch, so that the whole weight is supported by the internal structures (I use Bib-starter). My foreskin, when flaccid exceeds my glans by about 5 mm (1/4 inch).

I would like to know how you wrap. I use theraband only (in the beginning I used also a second wrap under the thera – cotton, but now I don’t have troubles now with one). I wrap spiral-wise in increscent of 1/8-1/4 inches. My problem is with swelling of my foreskin and although tried to wrap pretty loose closer to the glans it didn’t change anything. My foreskin always swells, but not because of fluid, but I have the impression because blood is trapped in the in the foreskin. Could you give my some advice?

I’m uncut and I’m doing fine. Granted I can’t use Bib at all, but it has nothing to do with skin, more of pain management issue.

One of the thing that you need to do is to pull the skin and leave very little for cushion. This is very important as blood circulation on skin has more of immediate effect than the head/shaft. Your forskin will give out long before your head/shaft - thus need for pulling forskin. Even those who are cut will have some skin pushed toward the head - after a while, this will cause a burning sensation, which is the result of lack of blood flow to the skin.

As for getting it cut - don’t do it. You’ll lose all that sensation thats present in your forskin - there are thousands of circumcised men trying to restore their forskin. Other than look preference, its not worth it.
