Notes:

The Harbor Freight pump can do both either air or water pumping. I have chosen that one over the LeLuv ones as they only offer air pumps.

I own the Harbor Freight pump. It is solid and the build quality is high. I have only used it for air pumping but it comes with the accessories you need to water pump.

I also personally own a couple of the LeLuv Hoses/Male connector combos, so I can vouch for those as well. I will also vouch for dealing with the company.

I personally don’t own a LeLuv cylinder. Gprent and other pump vets have vouched for the LeLuv Cylinders. Those guys know their stuff so if they vouch for the quality of something I accept what they say.

Several of us have posted this set-up in various threads that ask for advice. I just decided it was time to post it up in a new thread for easy accessibility.

Inline container

Do you use the inline container to set up? I use that HF bleeder with tube directly attached to the end of the cylinder.

I didn’t realize it was water capable. How do you relieve the water from the tube and not fill up the hand pump? I don’t see a second port on the pump to discharge. I am thinking of how a bath-mate works with water out the top. I think I am missing something obvious!

You don't need the reservoir for air-pumping. Just water-pumping

I air-pump like you, so we just need to directly connect pump ———> cylinder.

The inline reservoir container is only needed if you want to water pump.

So pump ——-> reservoir cup ———> cylinder

The reservoir cup basically traps any water that might get sucked back up from a water-pumper’s cylinder.

That way the pump itself doesn’t get water sucked into it, which would damage the pump.

Seems like lately the conventional wisdom is that if you want to water-pump, you are required to buy a Batemate, which is both expensive and doesn’t have a pressure gauge. IMHO, that thing is more of a novelty pump, and is not really suitable for the kind of enlargement work we do here, as you are flying totally blind when it comes to pressure. I just want to make sure everybody knew that you can get a decent and somewhat inexpensive pump set-up with a vacuum gauge that works with either water or air, depending on your preference.

Hope that clarifies!

I got a brake bleeder kit from eBay both the plastic and metal one. Such a hassle

The metal one looks like the harbor freight one.

I’m just using the plastic one, the metal one you can spin around like it’s a cheap China junk, bad buy.

They both look like the leluv pumps.

I didn’t know I could use that to water pump.

I purchased a bulb squeeze handle for water pumping

Hi Excess0_1

Again I will say the Harbor Freight one is first class. That is the pump I use. I can’t speak to the ones that just “look like it” and I certainly won’t rec them.

From what I understand the mityvac brand Is really good too if you can’t get the Harbor Freight one (folks outside the US). If in recall correctly, Boston Pump sells that the Mityvac brand, which is also available at autoparts stores. Here is an eBay link for $52.26. Harbor Freight has it for 40 something.

Mityvac MV-8000

I will reiterate I have zero experience with the LeLuv cylinders, my cylinders are from Boston Pump, Vacutech, and rebranded ones manufactured by LaPump. However thunder’s vets I trust have said good things about the quality on LeLuv cylinders. I have purchased a couple of their hoses w male connectors so I do know the company is legit.

The beauty of the system I have presented is this:

- you can start with airpumping, and ‘upgrade’ to water pumping down the line without making any additional investments

- if you choose to upgrade to a thick-wall and/or elliptical cylinders down the line like I have, you still have a great pump to work with.

Hey sta-kool,

this offer is very affordable, especially since we have positive feedback from you guys who have tried the equipment.

My question is, is there any chance you know any site for the european market to get these things, since Harbor Freight is not delivering outside the US ?

I don’t know the European market at all. Or any other market than the US.

As a possible alternative to the Harbor Freight pump, I am pretty sure you can get the Mityvac pumps in the EU. See the MV8000 I mentioned above. I can not personally vouch for that pump because I don’t have it.

For what it is worth there is at least one reputable US pump vendor I know of who sells a Mityvac pump with their set-ups.

I assumed you couldn’t know that, but I gave it a try however. Honestly, I am not into pumping yet, it’s just this offer attracts me so much. When the time comes I will look for this pump that you advised.

It is just a shame we don’t have European amazon or ebay, we certainly do have some sites for online shopping, but nothing close to these two.

Anyway, thanks for your answer, stay cool sta-kool :)

Thanks for this, Sta-kool! Would you be able to post a pic of your setup to this thread as well?

Leluv cylinders and hand pumps are a good brand I stand by them, I have a 2” by 8” long cylinder I use almost every day and have never had a problem with them.

2014, 6 1/4 bpel by 5 3/4 eg

2017,7 3/8 bpel by 6 1/4 eg

I bought this brand and was blown away at the quality. I never would have spent $150 on a vacu tech cylinder if Leluv would make an elliptical.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Just ordered my setup! Vey excited about This! What whaaaat!

So…

Got my cylinder in the mail and it looks like I got the wrong size, lol. It’s too small (9x2 cylinder). So that tells me that I’ve gotten bigger because I followed the table. HA!

I’m not complaining. Even with just a regular erection my shaft and glands are touching the walls. I think I might have looked at the wrong measurements.

I’ll try again later and see if it’s just the day.

Hey, that’s a good problem to have if you ask me.
