Bathmate warning!

So it’s safe to say I never want to use the bathmate again. So it was just like any normal day, I waited for a good time to bathmate, put it on and everything went smooth…so I’m sitting there doing my 20 minute session and about half way into it I see the tube looks dark…so I’m like that’s weird..look closer..and its blood! I then took off and emptied out the bathmate as soon as I can and the pic I’m posting shows what came out of the bathmate.

What did you do? Pass out and knock all of those plastic containers onto the tub floor? What a mess.

Oh yeah, never heard of anyone bleeding from any kind of pump session. Did you cut yourself shaving your pubes and then pump?

No not at all, it was coming out of the head, I was able to squeeze some out afterwards and it made me feel faint. It’s actually happened a little bit before, not as bad and I searched the web for it but didn’t find anything either so I shrugged it off but when the tube got dark, I’m done.

Any experts out there that would know what would cause this? Too much pressure maybe?

Most likely a burst blood vessel in your urethra. People report them here once in a while, usually from excessively aggressive jelking. Yes, probably too much pressure. Let it heal really well before doing any more PE, and strat very lightly when you do, as they bleed again easily before they are really well healed.

I have used some pretty crazy pressures in my pumping career and heard of guys going higher then me and never any blood. I also have a Bathmate and have pumped up to the max and no blood.

The only time I have ever seen blood is when I pump the same day I have nicked myself shaving and the vacuum sucks the blood out of the shaving nick.

So I take it the blood is coming from your urethra? If so, that doesn’t sound good.

It probably was only a small cut. Blood vessels can leak.
I had ashaving cut one in the BM and it was after some minutes full of blood cause of the vaccuum pulling the blood out.

Use the bathmate only in sets of mostly not more then 10 minutes.
Also it has no gauge which makes it a advanced tool if you dotn use it for warm up only.

Just a tip for future pumping. Always start off at a low pressure and slowly build up the pressure as you get into your pump session. Never pump directly to a high vacuum pressure.

See I did that too gp, and I was jelqing pretty tough the night before last. Sometimes I think the gator might settle into somewhere lower on the penis and I won’t get my full potential so that’s why I go to a pretty high pressure fast and I had an erection going in but I guess that was stupid…haha thanks again everyone, I really appreciate it!

I’m suspecting some sort of coincidental internal trauma due to PE techniques prior to using the Bathmate. As gprent said, and I have done the same, maxed out the Bathmate where it was quite uncomfortable, but did not have anyhing like this occur.

I hope so because it was out of my urethra and it has happened a little before but this time it was like thick blood as you can see in the pic, I’m gonna be cautious every time I use it now to go slower. Do you guys think I should take a week off?

One more thing, I was on a 2 day 1 off schedule with the bm and just the past week I was adding 10 minutes of light bib hanging (like 4lbs) before the day off. I know you don’t wanna combine the two but I figured just a light stretch would be ok but idk. Would that be bad though?

Take at least a week off; I would suggest 2 minimum. Manual stretch if you want to, but I wouldn’t hang with a clamp-style hanger and pump. It’s not the weight, it’s the ‘crushing’ effect of the hanger which is possibly likely to cause much greater strain on the tissues either side of the ends of the clamp.
