Starting Pumping Again

Hi.

I want to start pumping again. I am having some issues with my pump not really pulling a good vacuum. It will only do enough to hold the cylinder on but not enough to pump up to an erection. I have tried shaving and trimming up the pubs. I have tried the pump on a not so hairy body part and had the same result. I think the pump is bad. I seen that a manual brake bleeder pump is the same or maybe better as its metal where mine is all plastic. Is this a good replacement? Also does can anyone recommend a place to get different cylinders and new tubes?

Mine does that sometimes and it’s usually the little quick connect nipple or the seal on the hose.

First lets be precise about terminology. You don’t just have ‘a pump’

You have a pump. You have a cylinder.

Newbie can’t get a perfect seal — is continually pumping the pump ok?

Executive summary:

- lube the entrance/inside of your cylinder about an inch or more with KY or a generic version.
- lube your entire penis with KY
- dip the entrance of the tube in a glass of water to "activate" the KY
- slide your penis into the tube and pump.

Dipping the tube in water “activates” the KY in the tube, which then bonds with the KY on your penis. That creates the seal between your cock and the cylinder.

Thanks for the tips above but none of those seemed to help. The pump just was not creating vacuum. I tried to clamp the hose to it cause it didn’t seem to be connected good there and no deal.
The old cylinder I had is the same design but always thought it was a little big so I got a size 1/4 smaller.

Developed cracks at the fitting threads and some on the sides, and eventually were worthless. Some plastics just can’t be drilled without tempering afterward.
