Vacuum Pumping 101

Usually those rubber caps or sleeves have to be used on less expensive thin wall cylinders to make them more comfortable and to help with sealing. If the cylinder is not digging in too much to be uncomfortable then it is perfectly OK to use as is.

If you end up falling in love with pumping then you should eventually buy a more professional thick wall cylinder that does not need a rubber sleeve.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Awesome! Thanks for the speedy reply.

I think that I should invest in another tube, anyway. This one is a cheap one from a sex shop plus I have a feeling I may outgrow the length of this one. Last night I almost hit the tip of the cylinder!

What do you think of the size tube that I currently have? When I took it out of the packaging and the first time I played with it, it seemed waaaaaay too big. It was definitely a ego-boost when I started to pack that thing. Do you (or any other experienced pumpers) think that this tube is an OK size for me?

Also, I noticed that within the first two weeks I started pumping, I couldn’t get anywhere near packing the tube and now it seems to be growing, girth-wise within the first 15 minute session. Is that progression normal or am I overworking? I hope not because I love sporting a plump, swollen, monster cock after a session :P

If you want to know the size of your cylinder, measure the diameter and length. Use our size chart to figure out what size to buy next:

The best deal for your next cylinder is leluv on ebay:

You should probably replace your entire system and this is the one that has a pump with a gauge:

Those are surprisingly affordable. Do you know how discreet the packaging would be? I’m definitely looking to get a more “pro” tube, but do you think the kit I have now will suffice for a few months?

I bought a fairly cheap sex shop kit that has an 8” long by 2.5” diameter tube and a pistol grip pump with a gauge. My base girth (when erect) is a little under 6.5” so I should be able to work with the width, I’m a little worried about length; my EL is 7.2” and I feel with an 8” tube, I’m kind of (pardon the phrasing) shorting myself on the length-game. Any thoughts?

Man get the real deal if you can afford it. The length is too short and most pro cylinders are at least 9 long.

But as I understand pumping is mostly for girth(though some got length too).

Little off topic Question: Would you tell me what your base “width” is and how it fits width wise into your 2,5 tube?

In that regard you can also think about elliptical cylinders.

According to this site’s PE stats tracker, my width would be 2.049”. As for how I fit in the tube, that’s what I’m going to find out tonight.

Before last night’s session, my cylinder had a rubber cap with a small opening to keep your balls from being sucked through. After the first 15 minute pump session, I tore the rubber cap from the opening to the rim of the tube. After massaging and jelqing, I tried another set in the tube and the width was not an issue at all, I actually think I expanded faster. For the first time, I packed the tube more than 1/3 of the way up, it packed almost to mid-shaft.

I’m going to try the pump without the cap tonight and stop if I experience any discomfort or abnormal swelling. I plan to upgrade my system someday, but if this one works, I’m going to roll with it for a bit.

Yes, in my opinion, pumping expands and fills in what you enlarged with the prior exercise. So good for you alternating it.

Interestingly my width is about the same but I have almost one inch less girth. Thats why I got an elliptical cylinder.
And sure if it produces a controllable vaccum then its a working pump that will be able to expand you.

2.5” cyllinder is to wide 2.25” is fine and if there.is a 2.125” cyllinder it would be perfect.

But wouldnt that mean that with his width(2.05) that he could only expand so much(0,07 inches)?

You can trust gprent’s link. 6.25 being the minimum and 6.75 being the upper limit for a 2.25 cylinder, his girth sounds perfect.

So yeah for him its probably good. Still the hypothetical 2.125 would have given him only 0.12 to expand width wise.

Im not so sure if the table is so right in all cases. Im around 5,5. But Im almost 2 inches wide. Rather flat dick lol.

A 2.00 cylinder would not be wide enough for me while a 1,75 - 2 would have been advised.

I’m 2 inches wide (very close) at midshaft, and I’m using a 2.00 cylinder and it is exactly what I need (I had the doubts as you do). You can look into ellitpical cylinders if you’re that worried.

(perhaps this whole discussion could be moved to gprent’s thread).

I think its not a wrong thread per se but why not..

I get an elliptical too.

Why do you say its exactly what you needed? Regarding seal or regarding packing?
It sounds like you are already packing the cylinder width wise and thus you could potentially only expand in “depth”.

Actually achieving width expansion which is not edema takes a lot of time, and as condom pumping is probably beneficial, packing the cylinder shouldn’t prevent gains from happening , unless it is much too tight. And as you said there is plenty of room to expand in depth (ccs + cs) . This being said, if you’re happy with your shape then I’m sure you’ll enjoy the elliptical cylinder. I’ll be curious to hear about your results. From what I remember you want to build a tapered penis, so at some point you may want to look into full package pumping, which is said to help a lot in building a thicker inner penis and base.

Based on your size and experience already pumping with a 6.5” cylinder, I would recommend getting a 9X2.5 cylinder. But if your experience in the next few days changes as you use your current cylinder without the rubber sleeve, you might move down to the 9X2.25.

It is common for your base to pack quickly and that is good for you as it seals the cylinder and keeps your balls from being sucked in. My perfect size cylinder would be a 2”, but I prefer to use a 2.25” without lube. I just go in erect and bone press the tube when I start pumping to get a good seal and keep my balls out. Since I can’t pack the 2.25 all the way up, I can exit the tube at the end of my session without needing lube assistance. I always pack the 2.25 at the base and about ⅓ of the way up, very similar to your experience with the 2.5.

The LeLuv prices are so attractive you could also consider buying both the 2.25 and 2.5. Then you could start your session with the 2.25 and as you pack it switch over to the 2.5 to finish your session. That is called staging. I have so many cylinders I could open a store. :)
