Vacuum Pumping 101

Should I jelq just prior to pumping or is jelqing after enough? Is one or the other better? And when should kegels be done, beginning of routine? End of routine? Perhaps hours apart from the pumping session? You guys have been so great answering my questions.

I like to do a bit of jelqing before and after a pumping session, and usually 50 or so somewhere in the middle of a session. Kegels I do totally separate to other PE, usually whenever I am ‘waiting’ for something - waiting for someone to arrive, waiting for food to cook, waiting at traffic lights! :)

For my routine I swapped up doing the jelqs before or after the pump. I found significantly more donut (fluid retention) when I jelq before so I do my jelqs afterward. The routine I fell into (and will be getting back to shortly, hopefully) was: warm up, stretching, pumping, jelqing, warm down.


Start (Oct 2010) NBPEL: 5, BPEL: 5.875 inches, BASE GIRTH: 5.25 inches, MID GIRTH: 5

(November 2013) NBPEL: 5.875, BPEL: 6.625 inches, BASE GIRTH: 5.625 inches, MID GIRTH: 5

First pumping session accomplished!

I bought a pump from LA PUMP, I got the package with the hand pump, 2 1/4” x 11” tube and some DVD.

I’m following Avocets advice and starting with his routine.

The pumping itself felt really cool, a very interesting sensation. It was my first time and I was nervous so I didn’t go past 4PSI. At the 10 minute mark I completely wanted to go longer and add more pressure etc.. Of course I did not.

I did 100 jelqs afterwords.. Again because I didn’t want to overdue it. Wanted to see how my penis would respond.

First off my cock looked amazing in there. If my dick could look normally how it looked in just that first session I would take it and be done lol. Maybe a little more head growth but otherwise holy shit!

I’m now wearing a wrap around the base of my cock and balls.. Creating a little more flaccid hang after. I know a lot of people talk about using these wrist wraps to do it. I actually found an old strap that was used to hold my old I-Pod while running does a fantastic job. I also bought an ADS last week that I’m going to experiment with. I guess thats what this whole PE thing is isn’t it? Just a big experiment.

Excited to begin the journey of pumping, and I’m obviously going to take it slowly as well.. Even with all the excitement. The goal is to have huge massive erections, not just an enormous flaccid that can’t get it up.

Any other updated advice Avocet??

How quickly does a typical brake bleeder (or the pumps that LA and thickwall sell - they’re quite similar, I think) pull a vacuum of, say, 5”Hg? I’m thinking of replacing my penomet with a regular tube because my current setup is a hassle in this regard. I’ll be aiming for high vacuums and don’t want to be pumping away for minutes to get there. Actually, being able to reach my desired pressure relatively quickly is essential to me as I’ve come to prefer dynamic pumping.

You won’t have to pump away for minutes! It depends on the volume of air in your cylinder. If I pump to 5hg, then let it drop until the needle gets to zero, I can get back to 5hg in 7 seconds, pumping at a comfortable speed. Yes, I just timed it for you!

Very easily!!

I was having problems with it initially and then I realized the top of the cylinders screw that connects the tube to the cylinder wasn’t totally screwed in so it was leaking air!

As soon as I screwed it in a bit more I could pump to 5PSI in seconds.

I don’t know anything about pumping other than Avocets thread and today was only day 2 for me, but this LA PUMP device seems to be top notch in quality.

Usually I use an extender for 3 to 4 hours daily and finish with an hour or so of pumping (Pumping once every 3 days or so). This entire week however I pumped and stretched a little. I pumped for 30 minute sets, 10 minute warm-ups beforehand and warmed up the tube as well (Heat pad in the tube and in front of an IR lamp). Also changed lube from water- to silicone based. All in all about 3 hours a day. Low pressure, plenty of heat and different lube.

Today I went back to extending and I can stretch close to a centimetre further with still a little give in there. (No BPEL measured yet) What exactly may or may I not have stumbled on?

Always better to do the more intense stuff (as far as your penis is concerned, pumping is more intense than extending) first, then the long term lower intensity stuff after. So I would pump then use the extender, as the post pumped tissues will already have achieved a good level of stress-relaxation for the extender to maintain afterwards.

And the pumping will have worked well with all that heat; well done. :)

The weakest link are my glans. If I pump first they’ll take the brunt of it, reducing the amount of extending I can do. I’ll consider, much like Titleist, to focus on conditioning through pumping even further. Then add extending back in.

I do wonder where the point of diminishing returns with heat are. Just occurred to me that I had several heat packs, so put one in the rube while I warmed up myself. Got in the tube and put both packs on top.
