Vacuum Pumping 101

Gprent, I just ordered one. Too cheap to pass up. What lube do you recommend that would be available in stores?

I don’t use any lube now, but when I did I used a water based lube like KY Jelly except I used the Walmart generic to save a little money. The water based lubes are so much easier to clean up and will not harm any equipment.

The thing about water based lubes is that they will dry out, especially when jelqing, but when they do, don’t add more lube, just add a little water to bring them back to life. So just keep a bowl of warm water within reach. :)

I am pretty sure your current pump will not have the quick disconnect connectors that the professional pumps use, so make sure you buy a complete package like the one I linked you to.

Yeah, I went to the sex shop on lunch today, looking for a more size-able tube. They barely had any! They did have a pretty pro looking one from Boston Pumping (or something along those lines ) but it was too small for me and way too expensive compared to online. I just ended up buying another sleeve.

I think I’m going to order a 2.25” LeLuv kit and maybe an extra 2.5” tube so I can try staging.

I’m really hooked on pumping and really love the feeling of pulling out of a tube and seeing a ginormous, monstrously heavy, insanely sensitive member. I plan on playing around with this for a while so I think it makes sense to go for a more professional kit.

Do you guys know what kind of packaging LeLuv ships in? Would it be discreet enough to deliver to my office? Or should I pick it up at the post office?

It will be discreet but I wouldn’t trust an office delivery. If for some reason you can’t ship it home, then pick it up at the post office.

I received my LeLuv system today. Fail right out of the box. It is the hose connection to the cylinder that leaks air. The quick connect valve in the cylinder seems to close right to hold pressure and the pump with gauge functions. There is a thin silicone O-ring in the male end of the hose connector. It tore after connecting it twice to the top of the cylinder. Hopefully I can find a replacement at the hardware store tomorrow. Sucks! Or, at least it was supposed to.

I always wet the end of that connector with my mouth before connecting it to the female counter part. If you do that it will just about never fail.

Anyways, I know Ace Hardware has O-rings. This one is 5/16 X 3/16 X 1/16.

I say the best solution is the simple solution and that is wet the end of the male connector with your mouth. That has worked perfect for me for 10 years or so and it takes about a second to do.

If you use a silicone or water based lube, it gives you something you have to clean up and who needs that? Plus those lubes will work there way into the moving parts of the female shut off feature and could gum up the works.

I put a very small smear of silicone grease (not the sex lube type) on the male connector O ring if it feels like it’s sticking; that can be as infrequently as every few weeks.

Well, ACE didn’t have the O-ring but NAPA Autoparts next door to it did. Working fine now. I had a bit of silicone lube for my motorcycle helmet visor so I put a tiny drop on the O-ring. It will stay put, is inert and doesn’t gum up so should be fine. I used some Cetaphil lotion which is water soluble and it worked great for my first run in the tube. Packed the cylinder and got pumped up to my erect length at 7 in/hg. Seemed like a good place to stop because I could feel a bit of strain. So backed off and pumped a couple more times at lesser pressure over about 10 min. Do most people pump to their BPFSL or BPEL or?

I have marker pen marks on my tube just as a reference so I can see where I’m pumping to session to session, but I don’t try to pump to any specific length. I mostly work by feel.

Sorry to bump an old post but I just wanted to thank Thunder & the moderators for not deleting this post. When I first started here I recall a very strict policy on punctuation, capitalization and English in general. However his post really reads very from the heart and legitimate, that post is more convincing than many ‘proof’ pics posted all over the internet.

I’m starting back up again, hour or two of the penimaster a day and pumping for another half hour. Interesting thing to note, I also seem capable of withstanding very high pressure and have done ever since I started. I wonder if we both have actually incorrectly calibrated pumps? I’m using a Vacu-Tech pump which I believe is the re-badged brake bleeding kit? I barely feel it at 5hg and generally find myself sitting around 7 or 8 minimum but I can definitely do 10 without major issue either.

One last question, is the general consensus still that if you continue to pump after a long time packing the tube, it may help with length gains or has that proven to just be more fluid build up in the head of the cock and not actual tunica extension?
