Vacuum Pumping 101

Please post if/when you get your pump. I am about to order, but am waiting to see how your experience goes.

Marty: I believe cockpump.com is Lapdist and if so not hearing from them immediately isn’t unusual. It has been my experience from ordering two tubes on two different occasions that from order to delivery is generally about a week with 2-day and a little over week with 3 or more.

I’m still pissed, getting more pissed, getting pister with each passing day. It just pisses me off when you give someone some business and they fiddle fart around. They must not be too hungry and all the bills must be paid. Still no reply to my email. They got my credit card number and I guess that’s all that matters to them. I hate with a passion lack of customer service by people who obviously make their living serving customers with a product. I’m about to go out of town. I can just see the dogs grabbing the box and tearing it open and dragging my $100+ pump through the neighborhood. I bet the neighbors will love that! That’s why I paid for the 2nd day air delivery. I knew I was about to hit the road for a few days.

I feel better. Been wanting to say that all day, but hard to grip about not getting your dick pump in a timely matter to folks at work :)

OK, I pissed all day yesterday for nothing. I got the pump today. I take back almost everything I said yesterday :)

Question: Will give it a try tonight. Noticed there is just the flared end at the base. No rubber or jelly insert needed to seal? Will lube at the base be enough to seal the tube at the base?

Will report back with results/experience.

Ok, I need help. I am sure this question is answered many times in here, but it is late and I don’t have time tonight to search.

I cannot get the tube to seal against my base. Everything is working properly, I just cannot get it to seal. I used Gel baby lotion (same thing I use when jelqing). It’s pretty thick, but not like vaseline. Help! I think my ball sack is the problem. I am shaved, but the nut sack is wrinkled underneath the tube base. I am sure that is part of the problem. Help!

Also, they told me I needed the 1.75 inch tube. I can see right now that I will pack this one rather quickly. Not complaining. My mid-shaft will hit the edges right away, but back toward the base will have room to expand. I guess it will be a good way to even everything back up.

I’d appreciate any tips. Spare none. I wanted to practice tonight, work out all the bugs, learn to use it, etc., and begin the routine tomorrow.

If the tube wont seal as it sits against your hand that means there is a leak in the connections from the tube up to the hand pump. I know if I dont make sure that the hose “clicks” into place at the top of the tube then I wont get a seal either. Let us know.

Furthermore, I never have a really solid seal. I am not shaved so I expect some air leakage. I just live with it and pump a bunch more times.

Yes, I experimented after taking it out of the box. It sealed - all worked properly. Of course, the connection may have loosened when I went to experiment with pumping the cock later on that night. I’ll give it another whirl tonight and report back. I’d appreciate any tips.

Give it another shot tonight, take notes of what is happening when you can’t get a good seal and then post them.

A lot of tubes ship with the fitting not tightened up correctly. Some also loosen up after use and cleaning. Be careful though if you go to tighten yours, Don’t get carried away and snap the fitting or crack the tube. Make sure that you are getting a firm snap when you put the male fitting into the female fitting. Good idea to keep that small O ring lightly lubed up also.

Thanks, Thunder. You and 789 pointed me in the right direction. I was going to wait until tonight and give it another try, but after thinking about what the two of you said, I went and got the pump and simply checked connections. The fitting connecting the pump hose to the tube was VERY loose. I tightened it down snug, laid it on my thigh, and it worked. I could not resist and went in the other room and warmed up my pecker, and pumped one round.

I did not have a lot of lube so the seal was not perfect, but I was able to pump up to as high as I wanted to go for starters, it just did not hold the pressure there long. I know a little lube will create a better seal, so I am about to do another round tonight. If I have all the bugs worked out, then tomorrow night I plan to add this to my present routine.

Thanks again for the help! I figured it was something simple, but I could not see the trees for the forest :) I’ll report back after I get the routine down pat and let you know the results.

I went back and lubed all the fittings and seals. This solved the leakage problem. It now holds the pressure with no leakage.

Question about packing. I am just over 5.5 inches in erect mid-shaft girth. They sold me the 1.75 tube. When you speak of “packing” the tube, I understand this to mean that the entire shaft (top, bottom, sides) is pressed against the sides. In other words, there is uniform expansion from top to bottom against the sides of the tube?

I ask the above question because the base and top and sides of the mid-shaft are pressed against the tube. Between the mid-shaft and base I see light on the sides. On the bottom the ridge is pressed against the side, but the rest of the bottom side is not touching. I simply want to know when it is time to consider a larger tube. I am after girth for the time being so continued expansion in a “packed” tube (which I understand aids in length) is not my objective.

Since our son moved back in with us, I’ve not been able to use my hanger so I decided to try pumping. Got my pump from ladist and I’ll move into my third week of pumping tomorrow. Man, compared to hanging, this is a breeze and not nearly as time consuming. I’ll start reading all the pumping posts and hounding peforeal and avocet on a regular basis. Since I wear ball stretching rings, thot I’d try it in the cylindar this morning and it works very well. As avocet suggested, I marked my size on the cylindar when I started, so I’ll let you guys know what happens. I’m moving to London by myself for about 6 months in July, so I’ll combine pumping and hanging.
