Ran 8.9 miles yesterday and have noticed that the day after a longer run I tend to be dehydrated and so the head swell tends to not be as robust. Nonetheless I was able to take it to 84 half turns and decided to shorten the duration a bit to play it safe. Very low tension when removing the device and glans in excellent condition.

I have pretty much given up trying to get 4 workouts in a week. So I’m changing to 3 days a week, Alternating running and weights for the upper body. But I’ll go longer at least 90 minutes on the workouts. And I’ll add the walks after dinner now that the weather is better.

Didn’t think I’d work out yesterday but came into the office only to find that the staff scheduled a half day because they had schit. Well isn’t that special, the staff can take a half day no problem. The prisoners are running the prison. Well I did give them some guidelines about that. I told them I prefer one half day from time to time rather than several days that are a few hours shorter.

I’m reluctant to change the workouts now because the advantage of push/pull is that I can workout three days in a row and not affect recovery. Push, pull run works.

First session with the new noose. Noticed that this noose held the tip of the glans at the end of the cradle with no give. So kept it at 60 half turns to make sure we got the duration. Maybe my lack of progress was a noose integrity issue, we’ll see in the days to come.

Yesterday I ran 5.5 miles. Wanted to do more but I was not recovered from the 8.9 miler 4 days earlier. Seems I need 5-7 days to recover from that hilly course. The recovery is not the same at this age and I need to sort that out.

Red dot formed on glans with the new noose. Will stay at 60 half turns till it heals, focus on getting in the duration. The new noose continues to hold the glans in a more forward position so this is a considerably higher tension with fewer half turns. Will have to move back up slowly once the healing occurs.

Weight is stable at 187.8 we need it to drift down, I only have 10 weeks now to get it off before my doctors visit. I just need to work out more flat out not active enough.
