As is often the case, the day after a tension/length increase we experience a slight tugback. Really surprised that we got to 48 minutes as the glans tissues were stressed at 91%. Probably could have continued but decided that was good enough and did the manual stretching during the cool down, we’ll see how it goes from here. Glans condition pretty good at the end, temperature tolerance was good.

I screwed up the attachment. It was both twisted but also pinched some skin which was progressively painful. I was able to replicate yesterdays session but would have done better otherwise. Glans condition was good at the end, tension was decidedly lighter, glans was in a more forward position, it was just the pinched skin that was the issue. Targeting next Thursday for the final tension/length increase. Getting close now.

Went better but slippage at 50 minutes so had to do manual stretching for the cooldown. Heat tolerance improved. Maintained a more forward position in the cradle. Glans condition good at the end and perceived tension was reduced, The only thing I can point to is the head swell was less pronounced, which seems to be correlated to sleep. For sure this tension level is providing some challenges. We’ll see how it goes.

So the protective band-aid that I had covering the hot spot on the Thermedic pad slipped and I wound up getting a blister during yesterdays session. So today we used low heat to play it safe. This session went better, we made it to the end however the tension at the end was pretty high. Definitely feels like we’re close to hitting a wall and I won’t be able to go back to high heat until the blister heals well. Still there was progress today for sure. Still thinking three more weeks to get this campaign done.

For the maintenance after this campaign, I’m thinking just 3 days with the extender for some weeks and will follow that session with Pumping and then just pumping on the other days. After that I want to do a period of time with just pumping to explore the effects on EQ.

For sure I want to run it below the level of edema, so will start at 4 of the pressure and get the duration up and then go no more than 5. I know there is good clinical research for 2 X 10 minute daily sessions with low pressure, so I do want to explore that. But also I’ve had some personal conversations with someone here that had great success with longer duration while using heat with low pressure. So I may scope that out as well.

Went a little bit better today. Tension buildup during the incremental increases was less pronounced. Tension at end was very slightly reduced. Glans condition at end was very slightly better. These are very slight improvements now. Still dealing with the blister so continuing with low heat. I do think there is a benefit to the low heat because when I remove the pad there is a slight increase in tension as the tissues cool. Still targeting next Thursday for the next tension/length increase, but we’ll see. I don’t want to rush it, but I am wanting for this campaign to be over. It’s a long haul.

Had guests over the weekend so took 2 days off. It helped the blister heal pretty well and glans tissues seems more robust today. Session went well, we will see about the next tension/length increase towards the end of the week. Still keeping the heat low because the blister healing is ongoing. 100%!!! So we reached our goal now we just have to give it a couple weeks for accommodation and then we’ll take measurements and see what if anything we accomplished. I could tell from the get go of todays session that things were going well as the ramp up of incremental increases were not loading up like usual. The tension at the end of the session was actually felt to be lighter than recent sessions at a lower tension. Glans condition was excellent. Still at low temp even though healing is progressing well on the blister.

I’ll tell you there were times along the way of this campaign that I thought I was hitting at wall and would not get there so today was a nice surprise.

I feel kind of stupid but I forgot to do the last tension increase so was short. I’ve just been used to stopping the increases at 35 minutes. It’s too bad because things went really well today. I did front load the first 2 increases with 8 turns instead of 7 so we did get to 93 and I did go high heat until 35.5 minutes. Did feel a good tension ramp up during the cooldown when the pad was removed. Glans condition at end was great. Tension buildup during increases was even less pronounced than yesterday. Thinking we’re measuring next week Thursday-Friday.

Vasiline on a blister really helps with healing. FWIW
