Okay today went much better. Tension was tolerated without a problem, as was the temperature. Shooting for the next tension increase next week Thursday. Still just sorting things out with the pump. I think I’ve got the lube down now.

Really putting the hammer on the Summer cut. Been doing great with the strength training but now tightening the meal plan and with the better weather will add aerobics.

Better session. There was greater perceived tension buildup during the cooldown. I attribute this to the lighter pre tension which resulted in a more forward position in the cradle. I keep telling ,myself to drop the VED but the glans condition seems to benefit post traction in terms of it’s condition the next day. Also there is continuous increase in the length of the tube that is packed and so there is a curiosity of what 10 minutes looks like. I wonder what kind of timeline there is in terms of packing the tube/gaining length in the tube. Haven’t come across a lot of data point regarding that.

I need to remain patient a tension increase by next Thursday is all but certain. And this campaign is not a long way towards being done.

Also I have not come across a lot of adding pumping to the end of traction to assist in recovery.

If anyone has any thoughts on these items please share.

Heat tolerance was not as good today. Anecdotally I think that the VED assists in the recovery of the glans tissues post traction but I am going to exclude it for the balance of the campaign to not introduce another variable. On track to increase tension next Thursday. So far so good, I was not sure that we would be successful with this campaign, but we’re knocking on the door.

Summer cut is going great. Best version of ourselves!

Everything went better today. Could probably have increased the tension today but remained disciplined. Heat tolerance was improved. Tension throughout the tension increases was perceptibly lighter. Glans condition at end was excellent.

Alright another tension increase! Was planning on Thursday but it was there so I took it, Went very well. Can’t help but develop some optimism that this campaign will turn out successful, but the proof is in the pudding and we’ll see at the end.

Reviewing the record, tension increases have occurred every 8.6 sessions, so I’ll stick with 9 going forward, it has never required the full 2 weeks. Thinking we get this done sooner than expected. Heat tolerance was improved maintained high heat all the way. glans condition at the end excellent. We’ll see how the higher tension impacts thing tomorrow.

Do you always start a session at absolute minimum (0 turns)? If not, how do you determine how many half-turns to start at?

I know you do not comment on strain, but do you ever calculate it? Just curious.

Yes the base is the X4, I use a standard hybrid cradle, never got along with the smaller noose of the X4. I like the X4 base better because is it a more solid build, has a larger girth-opening and the tension adjustment apparatus is much more robust.

Yes always start at zero. At five minutes I tighten up the noose as there is a bit of stress relaxation of the tissues and I can secure things in a more forward and secure position.

I was at the beginning but I kind of dropped it because I figured I was starting at a stretched length lower than where I finished off at the previous campaign and I realized the only thing that would matter is if I advanced further than previously.

I spent some time and figured out the load at each bar for my extender. Since it’s a nice easy linear response, I made two mini rulers on paper and taped it over the bars on the extender, so I have more fine-grained load readout/control (200 gram resolution). Starting at 0 turns, I’ll increase by X turns every 2.5 mins until I reach a target load (noting how many turns it took to reach this load), as measured by the modified bars/ruler.

Day 2 at 78% handled with ease, indeed more tension could have been accommodated. So we’ll get 9 sessions and then increase the tension.
