So yesterday we got to full tension, so today I pulled it back just a little to make sure that if there was any tugback I still got the duration. And honestly I just barely got the 65 minutes same as yesterday so I do thing there was a small amount of tugback.

There are some things that kyrpa is doing which I suspect is modulating the tugback response but it’s just a theory. Yesterday for the second session I upped the tension because based on the morning session I knew that I had gained ground, but then the session duration fell off. It might be that when we gain ground it would be better to back off the tension to keep the duration up and consolidate the progress without triggering the tugback. I think I may have noticed it anecdotally when I wound up doing something like that randomly in the past, but I haven’t tested it deliberately.

Anyway this worked out, a little lower tension and the duration was good. We’re closing in on full tension and duration going into July.
