Granted, the longer your penis is, that is easier to accomplish. I’ve gained.75” in BPEL sine I started PE and I can tell the difference when jelqing. It used to be harder to do a good 5 second jelq.

But you guys are saying I have to set the timer for 10 minutes or do 200 jelqs but in my own slow way?

I’m definitely no expert, but it feels like it’s working for me when they’re slow and focused. And I switch angles and grip a lot. Over/under ok grip.. Right arm under right leg, etc.

I feel like jelqing can be represented by a graph that goes vertical, then quickly starts to flatten. In other words, diminishing returns. For me, I feel that anything past 20 or 30 good-quality jelqs have little payoff.

I set the timer and do quality jelqs. I have no idea how many I’m doing. But there all good quality.

That solely depends on the person and how they are wired. Not everyone needs a defined goal to be productive.

What exactly are initial gains and do they go away?

I just started with the newbie routine for 3 weeks. Now I’m spending more time reading new things and information then I’m actually jelqing and stretching. Now I am reading quite a lot about initial gains (I understand that are the gains that come within the first 6 months) and that they go away. Are initial gains just fake gains that will go away very fast or will they stay if I don’t take breaks with PE.

For example I’m now 5 inches NBPEL. Lets say I will add 0.5 inches in the first 3 months (which is my goal) and I don’t take a break for the next year. Will those initial gains of 0.5 inches go away after a while or can they stay forever. In other words: is it possible to cement initial gains? Because I’m worried that it will destroy my motivation.

I am unsure where you are getting your information but I have never seen any description of initial gains that go away. Initial gains are just what they say- the first gains you get. There is no time limit associated with them.

As pertains to a newbie routine it is common to see some members have a quick response from starting the PE program. Sometimes the quick gains are a result of improvement in EQ, and other times the individual’s dick just responds well to PE.

I need advice

Hi, I’m 20 years old and European so I already apologize for my English. I’m now 2 months into PE. I started because I want to change my life in many ways. I have a bad posture, my dick is below average, I never had a girlfriend and I am a no life gamer. Now I’m starting to change my life with gym, PE and fixing my bad posture and some other stuff which is not important for now. PE, I think personally is the most important one because if I have confidence about my body I succeed in everything. I started 1 month with a penis extender for 1-3 hours a day, after 1 month I came up to this site and immediately stopped with the penis extender and started doing the newbie routine, which today is my 1st month. Now here are my problems. I workout 6 times a week for 1 hour or more and I work 8 hours a day. In those 8 hours I do a lot of exercises for my bad posture. Now the jelqing for 25 mins is the biggest problem. I don’t see any change in length in the first month (which is normal) but the exercises make me so tired physical and mental. I’m working out 3 hours a day with all the exercises imagine spending another 45 mins doing penis exercises with my hands. My goal for penis extending is only between 1.8cm to 1 inch in 1-2 years. But the exercises are too much for me to handle if I have to jelq for 30 mins or more after a few weeks. The second problem is that the jelqing is also bad for my posture. I’m facing down for 30 mins straight but that also applies for doing the dishes, cooking etc. So no big deal I guess. I also have problems with jelqing because my penis is only 5 inches NBPEL so that’s like 10cm when jelqing in 30-50% erect. What do you guys recommend?

The most important things for me are: getting to my goal of 1.5-2.5 cm as quick and save as possible with the goal of 1.5 years

That I don’t get exhausted after every session

I think the most important thing that I’m mentally broken. My gym gains are insane I changed so much in 2 months its insane but the most important part is I don’t see change in my PE gains and I don’t know if I’m doing it right and if you work so hard and don’t see any improvements its hard.

If you keep at it you won’t be disappointed in the long run, trust me. When I first started I did the newbie routine aswell and gained close to an inch in length and some girth during those 3-4 months or forever how long I did it. I’m not saying that you will gain that much by the same period but if you give it a chance and actually put your mind to it you will eventually see some gains. Maybe it will be from better EQ, something I attribute a lot of my early gains to. You don’t have to go nuts and do the exercises 6 days a week. I would recommend doing maybe 3-4 days a week to start with, just so you don’t lose motivation and stop. That’s what I did and it worked for me. Some weeks I didn’t do more than 2-3 workouts and others I did 5. Don’t forget that a source of warmth before doing your routine is very important for your penis to respond in a positive way. I use a sock that I put some rice in, enough for it to cover my dick. I usually put it on like a sock aswell which works fine.

I would say; go for another month. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. I know it is discouraging not seeing any gains after a short time but it doesn’t grow over night. Keep at it and be careful. Sorry if my answer wasn’t of importance, just thought I’d share my thoughts and experience (which is not a lot compared to many others here).

Congrats on your gains in the gym and your journey toward more self confidence. I think you will be much happier and it looks like you are taking the right steps to turn things around. Regarding your time constraints, I completely understand. It can be difficult to find the time. While my situation isn’t the same as yours, I’m nearly 40, married with kids and work two jobs. I’ve managed to get at least 4-5 days a week of PE. I am still relatively new with just over 4 months inmy PE journey but from what I’ve read through these forums, it isn’t necessary to jelq for 30 minute sessions, especially in the beginning. When I started back in November, my sessions were 5-10 minutes of stretching and 5-10 minutes of jelqing. I’ve worked my way up to 10-20 minutes of stretching and 15-30 minutes of jelqing but don’t always go that long. Fit in what you can and what works with your schedule. I prefer to warm up, then stretch and then jelq but some days it doesn’t work out that way. I’ve made good gains (in my opinion) for the short time that I’ve been doing PE. I would say that the key is being consistent with your routine, whatever that may be. The first two months, it didn’t take me more than 15-25 minutes for my entire routine. With your jelqing, 5” NBPEL is more than enough from what I’ve read here at Thunders. It takes some time to figure out the technique. Do you wet jelq or dry jelq? Do you use a overhand or underhand grip when jelqing?

Use the search function on this site, there is a ton of information here but it may not be the easiest to find. That said, I’ve learned so much on topics that I wasn’t really even searching for. Hope that helps!
