Hey guys so I’ve had the bathmate for over a year. My goal is inch of length as well as girth. So far no gains, I jelq and bathmate usually together sometimes separate. My question is, am I doing more harm than good using them together? I mix it up as far as length of time which can vary from 15-30 mins (bathmate no more than 20) or number of jelqs depending on the day and the amount of time I have. Am I doomed because I haven’t stayed constantly increasing time or jelqs? Any advice would be helpful!

Take some time off. Read Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth! and start thinking back to some of the things you’ve felt and experienced.

If you’ve had no gains, taking a couple months off can’t hurt at this point. Like dickershwanz says, get a notebook and start writing down your routines. Exactly what you do on what days and how you feel after the workout and the day after. This way a month from now, if your PIs do start to dip you’ll know when they were good and what you were doing. Then you’ll know what you added when they started to change for the worse.

Same goes for good PIs and growth to chart. Getting started and getting gains is the hardest part. Creating a system that works for you is tricky. It’s one reason we here push the START HERE ——-> NEWBIE ROUTINE <——- Important Newbie Info so hard. It scales up without you having to put much thought into it and doesn’t cost any money like a Bathmate.

So take some time off and come back to the Newbie Routine. It’s hard to calibrate a Bathmate and Jelqing routine (or any routine really) when you have no baseline of good PIs or growth to chart from the past that comes with experience with methods that you can confirm work for you. Don’t despair, just regroup and make a more organized go of it next time.

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

Ugh toughing it up scares the shit out of me!! I might break and start fresh and start logging like suggested. Is it possible I toughened it up and I’m screw for good?

Nope. Sounds too dramatic. Would mean your whole dick is full of scar tissue(impotence).
Im sure there is some mode where you will gain.

If it doesnt come easy to you then you need to go the scientific route imo.(observe, check feedback and adjust)
Use heat and low intensity then increase time. If the timeline doesnt give you good PI’s then cut back time and increase intensity.
You will find a point where you get positive PI’s. Once you get them you keep going with what you do.

Might sound dumb but can that be reversed? Or anything done to prevent or help?

Okay, let me put it in perspective for you. Toughening your penis happens. Happens to any of us when the device or exercises we are using stop working. That’s the nature of the beast. Enough time off and it’ll be fine. You haven’t caused damage to the penis. You’ve made the penis angry and defensive so it will fight all your PE attempts for the time being. Because your penis, like most of ours, doesn’t like to be tugged, squeezed, inflated or compressed. So after your tissue is done resisting all of what it feels like is torture…you’ll be able to find some method that works best for you.

Patience and being thorough with your logging and easing into each device and exercise is what you need to do. That way you can be sure what works, how much of it works for you and how often you need to do it.

There are guys here who have hung more than 30 lbs, who have used compression devices, I myself have done clamping with 4 clamps at a time and erect bends. An exercise I do not recommend unless you have ample experience with clamping, bending and understanding your penis and its PIs. But my penis is not extremely tough and after a couple of months I’m able to start anew with other things.

Sounds like all good info! Thank you. How long do you guys usually give yourself before adding time or switching if your not getting the progress?

There is no definite number. Be aware of your PI’s during and after exercise.
Check the thread on PI’s.

I always aim to go beyond my “cold” baseline size during exercises and then try to hold that expansion.
Easiest is to log what you do and then notice the PI’s. Its not always that clear cut but what should be clear is that you move towards positive PI’s rather then towards negative PI’s.
