Deflated Glans and Firm Flaccid: Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

I’ve been using 99% pure DMSO and am finding it to harsh for my skin. Is it okay to dilute with water or should I use distilled water? Am I right in assuming that if I mixed 3ml of water with 7ml of 99% DMSO, then I’d essentially have the same as the 70% that is sold online?

If my maths skills haven’t failed me then I think you would be right to assume so. I would use distilled water preferably but boiled is probably fine. You can make your own distilled water if you want by just boiling water and collecting the steam which will be pure 100% H2O.

Thanks. Do you know if ionised water is okay to use? It’s much more readily available in the UK than distilled.

Hello, i used to be a member here and gained a lot while being on here, i have hard flaccid and soft glans and i had super hard glans before and during pe, now they are really soft. I also have been reading about the pelvic floors and all that, i have a hip injury on my right and left leg and my hard flaccid started about a year ago, do you think this has something to do with it. I am 21 and i don’t drink or smokee.

As far as I know pelvic floor dysfunction of one sort or another is the only thing that can cause the soft glans/firm flaccid. More restrictively, it appears to be caused by dysfunction (usually trigger points) in the ischiocavernosus muscle (one of the two main muscles used to stop the flow of urine, assist with ejaculation, etc). This is all from information I read on here: http://forum.hardflaccid.org/

Does anybody know the moderator for that website? Oobitoo I believe.

He keeps denying my membership. I think it is because I cured my soft glans with surgery rather than his pelvic floor method and he is in denial. I am Dr Pepper on another forum. Oobitoo, if you read this, please accept my request as I think many cases of soft glans, without hard flaccid, is a venous issue. I had one single vein ligated, and it solved my ED

When new veins re-innervate to replace the old ligated one (which happens naturally and is a healthy physiological response), which can take up to 18 months, then we’ll know if your surgeory cured the symptom or the just cause of the soft glans. I don’t mean to be negative but I have read multiple reports of exactly the same symptoms that people were suffering from before the ligation creeping back into existence over 3 - 18 months, ultimately returning them to the state they started at. I sincerely hope this isn’t the case with you :)

I believe Obitoo is not accepting any new registrations to the forum, so its not personally against you. He is currently in the (slow) process of collecting and collating all the verifiable data that has been created from that forum and its users with the hopes of putting it into basically a step by step instructional on what the cause of the firm flaccid/soft glans is and how to fix it. In the meantime he doesn’t want any further clutter added to the forum since as far as he’s concerned, there is no longer any mystery to the dysfunction.

Yes I am afraid of this occurrence. My SDV didn’t go under my pelvic floor muscles according to my surgeon, allowing it to drain my glans/CS uninhibited, and I never had other hard flaccid symptoms or pelvic floor issues.

Hopefully things remain how they are *knock on wood*. Will Keep y’all updated.

look at all this gathered information

can anybody compile the treatments and methods discovered that can cure deflated glans?

looked around the HardFlaccid forum for the cure and disappointed that Bikram Yoga is not available where I am. Is there a replacement therapy? I would join their discussion because their “Cure sticky” is a bit confusing but they don’t seem to accept new members any longer.

I have a theory that deflated glans isn’t caused by vascular problems but caused by the muscles on the root of the corpus cavernosum. The initial trauma makes the muscle contract unnaturally and prolonged, pulling back the corpus cavernosum from its natural position. This is why people seem to think their glans is emptied out when actually the blood chamber just doesn’t reach that far now because it is pulled back. Thought about this when I noticed at full erection the penis twitches inward instead of outward, due to the base now pulled internally making an angle.

if this was the case.. how do you “untense” the pubic muscle?

I am kind of loathe to posting in this thread anymore since I basically just end up repeating myself over and over again. Lowgrow you’ve managed to figure out exactly what is the actual cause of this problem on your own. Well done! It has already been discussed at great length in this thread and to a far greater extent over at HardFlaccid. If you would just spend more time over there it should quickly become a lot more clear exactly how this is causing our symptoms and the various thing you can do to start treating the problem. Good luck :)

OK Tweaking and others please read and let me know. (Just in case no one pays attention I will be posting this at another thread I started here: Advice from experts on glans problem )

I was really surprised by learning that several people on this forum have experienced my problem of soft glans. I was most surprised when people attributed t to PE, as now it really scared me since I started to do PE for the sake of improving my erection and at some point this was working!

I have no unified theory on this but my experience strongly supports one channel/disorder that could lead to this, and it has nothing to do with PE. Having said this I cannot say that PE does not cause or worsen this. Before I tell you my story however, I would really like to read and advice me on whether I should avoid doing PE.

In 2004 I had a onset of chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS), that remains with me until this day. I have never PE-ed, and did not even know about PE by then. As many of you know this CPPS manifests itself in various ways but could be summarized as having discomfort in the pelvic area. No question in my mind, this is muscular, although I do not deny the possibility of a chemical trigger for this. 5 months after this episode, I was once taking a hot bath (which typically alleviates my problem) and I was shocked/scared to see that my one very firm erection was looking very weird with deflated G and C. I have never seen that before. I felt a door to hell has just opened, and that the rest of my life is going to be a nightmare. It was for 2 more years. I couldn’t do anything about it. I did all kind of exams, nothing came up except an opinion by the experts that I have CPPS and that there is not much to do about it except stretching, relaxation, trigger point massage. Drs at Stanford expert on this issue told me I had a lot of trigger points, and I could tell you I feel them. I can massage them and watch myself get a bit better.

Now what puzzles me is that WHY THE HELL that this deflated G symptom not show up until 5 months!! In fact the first 3-4 months were the worst in terms of pain. How come? In fact, one doubt I still have until today, is that I might have overdone the hot bath thing, which I was doing very regularly these days. Could that have weakened my PC muscle? I really don’t understand why this happened almost overnight. In fact, a lot of people with much more severe CPPS report that their hard erections remain unchanged, even after 5-10 years!

The big question is: is this reversible? I would like to be in touch with some of you, as I am curious about your symptoms, and maybe we can learn from each other. I tell you my experience: when I take care of my pelvic floor through stretches, relaxation, trigger points,., my erection DOES get better, OVERNIGHT! Yes. And the days when I have the most pain/discomfort are the days when I am most likely to wake up with a defalted G or some weird weak erection. Having said that, persistent improvement seem to only be achievable, for now to me at least, over time. Almost 8 years after, my erection is much better than those wretched early years of pain. In fact, I could tell you that for several years I was not able to have sex with a condom because my sensation was lowered and erection weakened to a point that any further reduction in sensation was fatal to my erection..

About Kegel exercises. There are a lot of forums on CPPS but probably the best is this one: http://www.chro … itis.com/forum/
Everyone there would tell you (including the VERY knowledgeable moderator) that Kegels are a no-no for people with CPPS. In fact, I tried and it put me in pain for weeks! Also for some people the onset of symptoms have started with Kegel or similar exercises ! So I wonder how come many of people here do so many Kegels without getting CPPS. At the same time, some of you who are complaining of issues might have just developed these issues because of harming the PC muscle through repetitive Kegel?? (I wonder)

Final points: deflated glans and CC are a much better description of my symptoms than firm flaccid. I don’t know why some people say it is the same thing. I have read the symptoms of firm flaccid, and well I only had that following an PE-injury which went on for few days before resolving on its own. The flaccid glans is simply that when I have an erection the glans are soft as well as the back side of the penis particularly if I lay on my back.. Again, I have improved quite a bit but I would say only 60%-70% on the best days.

I think we need to think whether this is an injury to the PC muscle that causes all this, and if so, how to make it heal. I would be really interested to see how some of you here would react to stretching/internal and external trigger point massage.. IF you do get better with these, that would further corroborate the muscle story..

Thoughts much appreciated. One of my questions is whether I should avoid PE just because I have CPPS. Again, when I was doing it at some point my erections seem to have gotten better not worse. It also seems to me that there is a very fine line between exercising properly and overexercising.

Hello my friend; yes we are aware the problem is muscular and intimately related to CPPS. The pelvic floor area houses the most complex system of muscles in the body so with that in mind it should come as no surprise as to why it can seem to act in such a weird and bizarre manner, in terms of symptoms and their alleviation. It seems that you are lucky in the sense that you only get the deflated glans/CS and not the firm flaccid as well. I don’t exactly understand it but they are both potential symptoms of the same thing, e.g., CPPS.

You will be pleased to hear that there are some individuals who have completely cleared all their symptoms. For more information on those people and a lot more information in general, check out this site: http://forum.hardflaccid.org/

Tweaking,

I don’t have access to this site, but either way I plan to read some of the stuff if I can. Very busy these days. Can you please tell me whether there is a consensus on that site (HF) whether PE is bad for you??

I am amazed by the hosts of problems caused by the pelvic muscles.
