Deflated Glans and Firm Flaccid: Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

I am concerned about jelqing possibly making it worse, although you said it helped in your case?

Go with the pump.
Since I’ve started pumping regularly my glans and CS has become a lot more full and firm during an erection. It’s noticeably different from before I started pumping especially when looking at my penis from the side, I’m quite happy with it now. My glans has also become more sensitive.

Good to hear TS, do you still jelq and do other exercises as well?

I’ve ordered my pump, it should be here in about 2 weeks, I seriously cannot wait for it to arrive. Every few hours I go back onto the site just to gaze longingly at it lol

ADS and pumping make up the bulk of my routine. A bit of edging to 100% erect level after pumping to try and lose the soft spongey feeling and fill out the expanded tissue.

In the mornings my bladder wakes me up and I relieve myself (not in bed of course) then while my penis is still a bit plump and very warm from the night’s rest I get my penis to around 80-100% erect level and start pumping starting with a low pressure and slowly increasing as my erection subsides in the tube. After about 10 minutes I’m pumping at around 5Hg and my BPEL in the tube is around 8”. After this I edge to 100% erect level and try to get my penis rock hard while it’s still sort of expanded and then I have a protein shake with raw honey and banana, a cup of water and a cup of tea. Once the tea is finished I wear the ADS for as long as I comfortably can and as often as I can during the day.

No wet jelqs, no dry jelqs and I haven’t clamped in a long time.

Only thing that sucks about pumping (for me at least) is shaved or plucked hairs become ingrown when under pressure and this morning I developed a blood blister on the top of my penis which burst. Nothing to worry about though, there was only a little bit of blood and there was no major bleeding, no pain or discomfort. A day or two off and vitamin e cream should fix that.

But yeah, pumping has made a huge difference on CS and Glans inflation levels. I think I forgot to mention that I don’t ejaculate often, probably once or twice a week on average (I find ejaculating often affects my depression in a bad way).

Yeah, I wasn’t suggesting that, just passing on what he said. And it’s good to know that these things can improve on their own over time.

TS, good to hear about the pumping. I like pumping and intend to continue it.

Yeah, I think it affects my depression because I started masturbating when I was 12 or 13, so probably before I started going into puberty. I think it’s put my hormone system out of whack.

I don’t clamp for a couple of reasons:
1. The expansion (during and after) doesn’t feel the same.
2. Regular clamping causes my penis to lose size but still maintain decent/good EQ.
3. What little clamping I’ve done has caused a dark ring around the base of my penis where the clamp would sit. I never used a wrap as I would lose my erection before I could clamp and would end up having to re-wrap which would just stuff up again. I glued pieces of a mouse pad to the inside of the clamp to make it a little more gentle on the skin.
4. Clamping would give me really bad in grown hairs, worse than I get with pumping.
5. I was getting bad discolouration with clamping whereas with pumping that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I don’t jelq simply because it feels like it doesn’t do anything for me and it gets too messy. Beauty of the pump is there is no mess to clean (if you don’t use lube), minimal prep time, don’t have to focus on maintaining the right erect level and your arms don’t get tired. I often just lay in bed and read while in the pump.
Also I’m trying to increase base girth and jelqing tends to start with pressure on the base and not before it.

Yeah it’s great! :)
I think I’ll be pumping for a long, long time.

Agree. I pump early in the morning when no one is up. I can shave, make coffee, check my email, etc. :-) Also started throwing in some kegels while pumping … pretty efficient method of PE. Hoping for some slow and gradual gains over the long haul… we’ll see.

Fair enough TS, those all sounds like valid reasons. Pumping sounds incredibly convinient, truly the most ‘automatic’ PE, it seems.

I’m not clamping at the moment but I plan to introduce it slowly to compliment the pumping routine, or at least try. I’ve seen some people say they work well together, others not. My dick is pretty tough in the girth department so I think it’ll be good.

I’m surprised to hear you don’t pump with lube though, I thought that was a necessity?

TS’s cylinder is probably very “loose” on him (i.e., he’s not trying to pack the walls).

Please :donatecar to Thunder's Place to keep it running.

Yeah that’s correct. At the base it’s 2.25” diameter and that gets packed out about an inch maybe an inch and a half up the tube. It’s mostly just skin that packs it. The rest of the shaft has lots of room to move inside.

My goal is to be able to pack the tube completely. :D

I’ve got the same symptoms as you ‘Tweaking’. I just want to say that I’m loving this thread, the research and the optimism. Please continue this thread. I noticed that the CS (Corpus Spongiosum) prematurely deflates along with the glands as well. I too would consider surgery (after proper research of course) but would defiantly make sure that I was happy with ‘my size’ first, that way you know that once the surgery is complete, you can leave your unit alone (ahh, that will be the day).

Has anyone tried Muse for this issue? Muse is like viagra except it is a small pill that is inserted directly into your urethra. For people with penile prosthetics, the medication has been used to inflate the glans and corpus spongiosum. Makes sense in a way as the urethra is surrounded by the corpus spongiosum.

For me personally I can get an inflated penis glans, but my corpus spongiosum only fills up on the left side. I would try the medication out myself but currently have a penis injury that gives me extremely painful erections.

I’ve posted fairly extensively on this topic, as it’s what brought me here to Thunders in 2005.

The “very weak” kegel point resonates with me - I’ve described it like feeling as though the muscle has been somehow “disconected” from your penis. You try to kegel, but just don’t feel anything.

I had very poor glans expansion and sensitivity, and also weak erections in general.

In late 2006/early2007 it was found that my superficial dorsal vein was leaking blood on erection. An interventional radiologist blocked off the leaking vein, and erections normalized.

Now mid 2010, everything still works fine.

My glans still fluctuate a bit, but it’s normal fluctuation - there’s now no dramatic shrinkage of the glans, & the improved sensitivity due to the blood staying in there is amazig. I can now kegel normally too.

So, in the end surgery worked for me.

Edit: Just read it helps when you press down on your superficial dorsal vein. This was exactly what happened with me too. When I pressed down, it was manually occluded, and erections + kegels normalized. This is how I knew it was leaking. After seeing various urologists who told me it was psychological, it was finally confirmed by the doctor who performed the procedure on me.

Just out of interest what tests did the doctor that diagnosed you with a leaking dorsal vein do that the urologists didn’t?

Yataghan! Good to finally see you here, I thought might show up at some point. I have read your threads (Cock head doesn’t proprly retain blood - UNITE) and mention you several times in my posts in this thread…I have a few questions:

In my understanding, it’s possible that the procedure you underwent did not actually stop the ‘leak’ but merely that the embolization of such a major vein meant that blood couldn’t get out from the glans so much that it actually covered the symptom causing the real leak - which is why when they performed the diagnositc dyeing test it came up with nothing. So I just wanted to ask, how bad was your glans deflation? For me, when I haven’t ejaculated for a while, I can get the head to be quite engoreged, at least for 30 seconds prior to ejaculation, with constant stimulation, but if I leave it at all it goes down and soon the erection dies - was it the same for you? (I know there are guys out there who its much worse for).

More importantlly, have you been PEing (successfully) since the operation?

Finally, who (and where) was the interventional radiologist who performed this surgery?
