Rogaine

For the sake of argument,let’s say money is no object.I’d like both your opinion Dino,and yours as well Leatherface,on what my next step should be.I’m just about out of the stuff I ordered from restoration hair,and I’d like to get a new regimen going.Thanks to both of you in advance .

I’m using generic rogaine 5% once a day at night and I shampoo with Nizoral shampoo1% 4 times a week. I also take generic Propecia 1.25 mg I buy the 5mg and split them in 4 when you buy them this way it cost about 6 or less dollars a month. If I was going to add something and money wasn’t an object I would add the Revivogen.

I guess I would agree with Dino. Money actually won’t give you better results as far as treatments go because as Dino stated, the most effective options can be purchased pretty cheaply.

Finasteride + Minoxidil + Nizoral = success (for most anyway)

Anything you add after that might help a little. Personally, I am tempted to give Revivogen a shot for the simple reason that I have been using Fin and Minox for 8 years now and they have lost their punch (which is sadly a common occurence)

Well at present,I can’t take anything I don’t have a prescription for.In a few months that’s going to change but for now,unless I get a script for the Fin I won’t be able to take that.I appreciate your input gentlemen,thank you kindly!

You don’t NEED a script for Fin if you use the generic. https://www.inh … usepharmacy.com . No prescription required. Order Fincar. Get a pill cutter. Get it into 4 pieces. Voila! Instant Propecia for under $10 a month.

$10 a month is sooooo cheap! They wanted to charge me $60 a month back when I could get a prescription from my doctor, plus there was the $20 copay.

Leatherface.my issue is that I can’t have anything in my system that I don’t have a prescription for.I ran afoul of the law awhile back,and until I complete my probation I can’t have anything in my system that I can’t account for.

Oh. Well then I would give minoxidil and Nizoral shampoo a shot until you CAN take Fin.

I appreciate your comments and suggestions Leatherface,and yours as well Dino. Would you use the revivogen in place of the nizoral or use them in combination?

Nizoral is a shampoo. Revivogen is a topical serum you apply once a day, usually at night cuz it’s greasy. If you have the money, I suppose both couldnt hurt but I still say the big 3 will give the best results.

Leatherface,I just returned from shopping.I got three bottles of generic minoidil at Wal-mart for 19.99,and a bottle of the shampoo for ten bucks.Thanks again for all your input and I guess just wish me luck .:)

Good luck chainz and don’t be alarmed if you notice a shedding period in the beginning it’s normal.

Thank you Dino.I noticed on the label it said some initial lose is normal.I just hope it’s not too much.I have long hair and the little solar panel on the top doesn’t;t look to good.To add to things my hair is so dark it almost looks black so the bald spot really shows.Thanks again for the words of encouragement.

Dino is right. Shedding is normal and is actually a good sign! Stick with it and good luck.

Spironolactone 5%

I picked up some of this from wholesalehairproducts.com and am wondering how and when to use it? There were no directions really.
