I have a venous leak, I'm going to have it fixed by an interventional radiologist.

In continue to an old thread of mine - When erect my head isn’t that full need a little help.
I knew that it isn’t all just in my head, urologists can do a thing about it, you need to find someone who is an expert in the field.
The big dorsal vein is leaking, and he is going to put a coil in it, exactly like Yataghan50 - Before and After *Surgery

This is a very expensive procedure(and I had some problems of costs), my insurance covers it(after lots of fighting etc’), only the examine cost 1500$(doppler with PGE-1 and some other machines), and the procedure itself is about 15,000$~, to doctor took care for the cost issue.
My doctor told me that he really had to fight with the insurance to cost it, I didn’t know about it, they claimed that I had it when I was born.

I hope I will be able to do PE after it and that everything will go well, it’s scheduled to Tuesday.
I wish that my glans will stay full and swell, and that my EQ will improve, no blood will leak out of my glans anymore.

What do you think about the procedure?

Wish me luck, I’ll update you.

Wow! Best of luck, man. May the force be with you!!

With venous leakage, which you have been confirmed to have apparently, it is best to have a surgeon who has a lot of operations under his belt, so to say. Experienced surgeons get better and more long-lasting results. With them, the success rate is claimed to be about 80 percent.

A problem with venous leakage surgery is recidivism - a return to the previous state. But a lot of guys luck out and do well for a long time. I hope you are one of them.

What’s your age, btw? Younger guys do better in this procedure than older guys.

Good luck my brother.

Hope everything goes for the best.

I have decided whatever I do I will move forward in life

I’m 19 years old.

The truth is that the surgeon that is going to do the procedure hasn’t done a lot of these procedures, he is one of the best radiologists in Israel and he’s very well known in the world.
There isn’t a doctor in Israel that done this kind of procedure.

Avocet8, 80%? Can you give me some links that have information about venous leak in the penis? I know that it can come back, but it it’s treatable and I can go through the procedure again.

This venous leakage is mostly effecting my glans, and has nothing to do with my CC chambers (it may have something to do with the CS because when I kegel blood isn’t trapped in the glans and basically leaves the penis)

Do you think I can continue with PE?
Thanks a lot guys.

First and foremost that is a question for your doc. Do have him join Thunder’s, the more docs the merrier :)

Taped onto the dashboard of a car at a junkyard, I once found the following: "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." The car was crashed.

Primary goal: To have an EQ above average (i.e. streetsmart, compassionate about life and happy) Secondary goal: to make an anagram of my signature denoting how I feel about my gains

I think he will kick me in the balls if I’ll tell him about PE and Thunders, he will think that PE is the reason for the venous leak, he is trying to find explanations for the leak and asked be about what have I been doing.

I have this problem at least from the age of 14 (as I can remember).

I can find a lot of information about venous leakage that is connected to one of the arteries but not the the dorasel vein. I hope that closing the vein is the right solution. I don’t think that there are a lot of cases like mine.

Well, ask him about edging, kegels and masturbation. And maybe that is all you should be doing in the future? Maybe increasing pressure above design pressure isn’t such a smart idea in your case?

This is from the Journal of Urology and illustrates the success rate of this procedure, at least as reported by this particular doctor. (Click on the second option to read it.)

A lot of guys here report low-level glans inflation with their erections. You need to weigh whether having the surgery is worth it since your shaft erections seem to be perfectly normal and sex would not be a problem in sex.

Others of rest of us with venous leakage sometimes can’t even keep a hard-on going.

You are, though, in an age group where good results happen more often than not.

I agree with this, and personally I would not consider any surgery on my penis if I were able to get normal CC erections.

The surgery that’s often quoted in repairing venous leaks involves actually tying the veins, and is far more invasive as far as I know.

I don’t know whether the efficacy of using interventional radiology with coils is greater or lower than tying the veins, but the risk factor/recovery is substantially decreased. I was fine after a few weeks, and all that was involved was a needle when I was under a general anaesthetic.

It’s true that a lot of guys on here do complain of poor glans expansion. Even post surgery there are times that my glans aren’t completely full. They are rarely very hard and shiny unless I’m extremely aroused or about to cum. But, the glans are atleast full and sensitive when before it was completely dead and lifeless, so for me it was definitely worth it, especially since the pleasure I recieve from glans stimulation now directly improves CC expansion because I can actually feel pleasure.

Avocet8, I don’t have a “low-level glans inflation”, I just don’t have any inflation at all.
I can get a hard on, but I can’t keep it for long time, or I just sometimes have to struggle, I’m young, so I can maintain an erection, but the future is a head of me, I think that my BC muscle is working so hard right now and my testosterone levels are high, so I can get a nice erection, infect I relate my poor CS to my venous leak, it fills only when I kegel, each stroke fills it up, and the blood ends up back in my body and not in my penis, sometimes I can’t even maintain an erection, or I can get a poor CC erection, nothing else fills with blood besides the CC, barely.

So yes, it has effects on my EQ, if it goes well, my EQ should be much better.

I hope that my glans will fill up after the procedure, if the coil will completely shut the vein, it should close the leak and there isn’t a reason for failure.

This procedure isn’t the regular tying the vein, it’s shutting it with a coil and special glue, they insert a needle in the vein and placing the coil before the leak, it should close the leak and the vein for good, I wonder what other aspects this vein has.

My situation is the same as Yataghan50, and we are the same age, I just hope that my surgeon is a good one too.

If I were you, I’d never hang, stretch, pump, clamp or jelq again for fear of dislodging the coil. I wouldn’t do anything that the doc advised not to.

I would be reading up on ballooning - kazooplayers thread - check out Cheeva’s dick control primer thread.

Mgus, I think that after the procedure I’ll tell him about PE and ask him if I can keep stretching, I know that Yataghan50 had done some light pumping after the procedure.

As for jelqing, I think that it’s out of the question, it’s too intense, although that the coil will be in my fat pad and not on the visible shaft, maybe I can use something like the Xsleeve and light ADS, as for girth, I think that the chemical world will help me, I hope at least.
