Linear Newbie Routine

Guys,

While I couldn’t join the site I did read a lot of threads, including this one. I did decide to use this routine because I wanted to start slowly and avoid injury.

I had no plans to measure for 3 months, but I’ve been following this sort of routine for about 4-5 weeks and I decided to measure and give some feedback here. I have appeared to gain!

From a quick measurement I have gained at least 0.25 of an inch, perhaps a little more, but I’m trying not to get carried away because until I hit 6.5” I have promised myself not to believe PE is possible, lol.

I guess this or any routine provides quite a quick gain because you are bring life back into your unit. :)

Thanks for posting this routine, I have gained really safely using it and experienced no problems, although I still consider myself a newbie and still learning proper technique. I did most of this routine while in the shower! I now plan to move on to the “proper” newbie routine for the next 3 months.

Congrats with your gains. Was your routine exactly the same as the newbie linear routine described on the first page of this thread?

I would say what I have done is this routine. Not stretching for the first 2 weeks, then just 5-10 30 sec stretching building-up over the month. I must say I started with just 10-20 Jelqs but did build-up slightly faster than the routine suggests, I’m now maybe doing 125 jelqs after 5 weeks.

I think the principle is fairly clear. Start slowly, don’t be rushed as regards PE. Not only does taking a rapid approach risk injury, but some even say it will condition the tissue quickly and hinder long term progress and gains, this is mainly why I took this approach, a “pre newbie” routine if you like.

I also think the principle of slowly building-up your routine is sound for gains. That is why I’m now starting the newbie routine and plan to use the same principle of slowly building-up the number and duration of strecthes and jelqs. However, I’m also aware some vets think jelqing beyond 20-25 minutes is pointless, so that is my limit. Also there is a limit to the number and duration of strecthes, say 10-15 minutes of 1 minute duration holds.

My view is once I have reached the limits, then there is still a whole range of other stretches and routines to try, not to mention clamping and hanging which I wouldn’t even consider for 6+ months.

I plan to use simple manual stretches and jelqing on the newbie routine for 3 months, then measure and look at my routine, I consider ANY gain progress and plan to PE for a year, gain or no gain.

I really am thinking about these first 4 months as conditioning, anything beyond that is a bonus.

Any feeling of pain is bad and a negative PI. If you feel pain you should stop what you are doing!

That said, I think feeling “stretched” or “worked” after a session can be a positive and is reported by many.

Also read about the positive PI’s to gain feedback on what you are doing.

Kbtd, if you haven’t already started, you could try the routine. Just be careful that you don’t overdo, it is a sneaky trap.

This guy had gained OVER 4 inches in length!!! His method was remarkably similar to this thread, but over time he eventually worked up to over 2 hours of jelquing a day. He NEVER used more than moderate jelquing force, he just slowly increased time.

So, if you are gaining with jelquing, and gains slow or stop, the two options I recommend first before going to more exotic methods is 1) small increases of time 2) a deconditioning break of a week or two.

The problem with going to high force techniques is you WILL produce tissue toughening which may show some initial gains, but will soon come to a screeching stop and demand a longer decon break to be able to start gaining again.

If you use an even HIGHER force method after that, it is just aggravating the problem and eventually making the tissues far tougher.

Alleged 4 inches? Yeah, do you remember this thread Thunder?

It was a guy Wad knew from high school, and if not 4 inches…damn close to it. I think Wad was convinced that it was the real thing…and thats why he wanted to know how he did it.

What convinces me is the fact that he was really pretty private about it, and Wad had to kind of pry it out of him. Also this is someone Wad vouched for as the real thing. Finally, the methodology fits nicely into the things I believe are conducive to true growth as opposed to tissue stretching. Long low to moderate sessions that are slowly increased over time.

Well, percentages side with you… but there is the possibility its for real.

It also passes my “smell test” at least enough that I would consider it worth a test run. The main doubt I have is whether EVERYONE is capable of that type of gain, or if he was just one of the “lucky” ones.

Personally, I think this type of approach can cause real “growth” and frankly, I really wonder what type of gains are achievable for the average guy.

I think if we ever really get a handle on “real growth” vs frank tissue stretching, 4 inches might be on the low side of what the average guy is capable of, if they commit to the dedication and time needed for it.

When they use bone stretchers to increase bone length, there really is no limit , other than practicality and gravity. I think that the penis isn’t quite in this catagory because of its complexity, but I think 4 inches could be a regular thing if we ever really come to understand the mechanics needed.

I think that things like Gerry Johnson’s type device has the greatest potential for true sustained growth. But like bone stretchers, I think it has to be something that stays on 24/7 until you reach desired length.

I think in the end it will turn out that on for a few hours or more, then off all nite does a lot to slow down the growth momentum that probably takes many hours to really trigger.

I remember something like that in the Brava system (breast enlargement through vacuum) that if you took it off for more than a few minutes it could set you back a day….but thats just off the top of my head, its been years since I looked at it.
