Knowing whether you are limited by Dorsal Thickening/Septum

Hi marinera - I’m still confused by your statement that V stretches have little effect. When I do v stretches, I most definately feel more tension on the dorsal tunica than on the ventral side. Wouldn’t this mean that it is actually effective for length? Granted, a V stretch is more difficult to hold for a longer time and a V stretch is not really a thick fulcrum, but other than that, I do not see why it wouldn’t work the dorsal tunica? Or am I misinterpreting you?

I think if you feel stress on the dorsal side when doing V stretches, it is more the the discomfort for pressing (compressing? Help me out) on that side, than the stretching force. Since the penis is no flat, when you bend it the inner side is shorter than the outer*, so it comes that the ventral side is being stretched more. Since the ventral side is very elastic, you could feel the stress on the dorsal side as well actually, but then a downward stretch would be more effective because targets the dorsal side more efficiently and you are wasting time on a less effective exercise.

* Think to a bicycle wheel; if you measure the outer perimeter (the one with the rubber) it will be longer than the inner (the metallic cyrcle); in facts, the perimeter is proportional to the radius, and the inner cyrcle has a shorter radius than the outer. Hope it is clear what I’m trying to say.

Upward fulcrum stretches give gains to nobody. Why? Because there is no tunica on the underside of the penis. You want that your penis grows in length you have to stretch downward, period.

But upward SIDE fulcrum stretches is good for lenght gains.. over a thick fulcrum of course. But that is a different story 😊

Yes, I advocate them Monochrome.

The fulcrum does not have to be perpendicular to the shaft either, it can be on an angle too, like one of the sides of “V”.

I also agree that there is discomfort doing the V stretches as I do not get a full stretch feeling over the tunica but it feels like more of a force pushing into the area where the fulcrum is.

So what is the consensus on this topic then? What type of stretch is best for length gains having a strong tunica? So you can stretch it to its full potential.


3/02/2019 - BPEL 6.5", MSEG 5.5"

BPEL 6.5” to 9.0" 8% Progress 6.7”

MSEG 5.5” to 6.5" 19.7% Progress 5.71”

I did sock stretches before and the stretch I got from them was awesome. But if it’s a fulcrum I don’t know, more like “V”/”A” bending stretch in opposite directions, at three stages, base/ mid/ top.. clockwise. And that was over a year ago, and I did my strerches at that time very often with short intervals.. I remember that I had a sock with me everytime I vent out to work, to a party, to the club.. yeah, everywere! I strerched every moment I could find.. and that was quite often :D ..but I gained a lot lenght at that time too :-)

But the strenght I did at that time is not near the strenght I do now when I stretch. But these days I work complete different and do my fulcrums at moderate strenght with long holds.. up to 5 minutes.

It trigger my mind sometimes to try that sock stretches but with moderate strenght long holds with heat and not short high strenght stretches often that I did before.

This “cord” did appear to me as well after 10mm BPEL gain and gaining seems to have ended.

If DT limits length gain shouldn’t it eventually result an upward curve?

I understand if cord limits length gain then stretching straight penis cannot increase ventral of tunica length but if/when other (mostly girth and V-stretch) exercises are done they should lengthen the bottom of tunica and cause an upward curve.

Not necessarily. I think you can start with a dorsal tunica which is too tough (or short) and in that case you have an upward curve; but your penis can be straight and simply the dorsal tunica not responsive to stretching.

What is an upward side fulcrum stretch?

Upward side fulcrum stretch is a V stretch, the difference is that the penis doesn’t rely flat on the fulcrum but it is rotated 90 degrees so the side of the penis is in contact with the fulcrum instead than the dorsal side of the penis.

I’m a newbie just going through all information I can before really starting PE. I have read all the basic tutorials, guidelines and now I’m into this topic.

Did not read all of it, but a lot of the beginning and the Buchs fascia thing that the guy with med background wrote.

I definitely have this kind of steel cord behavior on the buchs fascia when I flacid stretch, the other parts are not tensed at all. And already have what I think is a intense upward curvature (never done PE before) and also a high angle starting point, like it points at approximately 45° or higher when fully erect. Never had big problems with sex anyways except for some positions, and also, can never let the girl get full control in some of them due to how hard angled up it is and I feel it could break at some point.

Read a lot about that disease that causes the hard fibrous tissue or even calcification in the shaft (due to lesions I guess) and ruled that thing out because everything is normal when flacid.

My question is, should I start already with something targeting the fascia as some suggested, or just a regular routine focusing on downward stretches. My main concern is length, since a have a poor length to girth ratio (about 5,5 BPEL and also 5.5 EG). I think that is caused mainly by the curvature as if I measure a line along the penis the length goes to around 6,2.

Sorry for the long post, just wanted to make sure everything is there.

After stumbling on this thread and the survey it struck a cord with me. Forgive the pun. I have this cord. I have been working on PE for a year with only small results. After a few hours of research it is clear that the cord is scar tissue and it is Peyronie’s disease as shown in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peyronie’s_disease . The first photo looks exactly like my dick. Fortunately I am longer than that and have no problems with sex. I have no idea where it came from. I am doing research and experiments to see if it can be eliminated and I will let you know the results. The literature says that 19% of the time it goes away on it’s own but I have had it for years. My first experiment will be with papain from papaya.

The ‘cord’ people talk of is definitely not Peyronie’s or scar tissue. Have you read this whole thread? Many people with the ‘cord’ have no abnormal bends or any of the other symptoms of Peyronie’s at all.

Basically we all have the ‘cord’ - it’s just more pronounced and thicker in some of us.
