Penis Size: The True Average

I can tell you I’ve done it. It’s been spoken upon. It is real. To assert dominance, place value upon yourself the image enhancement carries value. Same reason jockstraps sold with stuffing exist. Image matters, to perfect strangers especially.

Seems to me that the men who strut around naked at the gyms I’ve gone to over the years have been predominantly average joes, at least their flaccids have appeared to be small looking to normal size (growers). You can’t tell the actual size by it’s flaccid state, and I’m not sticking around to see someone get aroused! LOL Now, I have seen a few biguns, but those have been far and in-between, one being an ex-workout partner of mine from years ago. That guy was packing enough for three. Funny thing is, I’m not sure if he even had facial hair and not much body hair at all? Maybe all his testosterone went straight to his dick and balls.

Many guys fluff when they think no one is looking! In my gym we have cubicles and open showers. The cubicles are opposite the open showers, and the open showers can be seen from the hinge side of the cubicle doors as there is quite a gap. Most guys who think they are the only person in the open showers and think they can’t be seen spend lots of time enthusiastically ‘washing’ their junk (even if they only spent seconds on their armpits!), so they ‘look their best’ if anyone else comes into the open showers, or for when they walk back into the changing area. It’s just the way most guys are, me included; nothing gay about it.

We also have ‘selective memory’ about locker rooms. If you see 1 large flaccid and 5 small ones, the only one that sticks in mind is the large one as it registers much more strongly with us, perhaps as a threat to our manliness. Much like if you saw one tiger and 5 domestic cats, you will remember seeing the tiger! So we end up remembering far more large ones than small ones.

And yet there are many in this thread openly discussing - by memory - dicks they’ve seen in locker rooms. I think the point of trying to show off is far more than obvious.

It’s also not hard to understand how people can be more likely to show off what they’re proud of, and if you’re proud of a big dick it’s likely more people - male and female - have probably seen it. Dick pics, amateur porn vids, even just confidence getting more girls, all attribute to the misconception that the average is larger than it is.

If one wants to battle science and studies and statistics with a societal-anecdote-ridden and porn-jaded mind, they are welcome to chew on that until it bothers them to death.

Yeah this gots to be true, I think the average is around 7”.

My penis is around 6.2” to 6.5” my penis shaft length is 5” and my hand length is 7” most men I know, around 90 percent of them have much bigger hands than me and women will tell you hand size corresponds with penis size.

Promiscuous attractive women almost for sure average they see is 7”+, these are the type of women you tend to go after when going out to bars,clubs,etc.

I don’t want to quibble over an inch. The data of numerous trust worthy studies does not support an average length of 7”. It’s much closer to 5.75”-6.0 inches.

Hah! I fluff for myself! Its been on auto fluff latley. Also I think having that locker room confidence is half the attraction for PE for me. I think I can satisfy most women…. My hand is bang on 8” long. My pre-P.E. Length was 5.9” long.

Girls would have been disappointed.

8” seems to be the average hand size for most men, which I think puts them in the 7” category, sorry to ask this but do you have any pictures as proof? Sorry again but it would make me feel much better knowing I’m not smaller than 90 percent of the rest of the males out there.

At 6.5 inches you are over average. Which means you are at least the same or bigger than 50 percent of guys out there. Hand size and dick size have no correlation necessarily.

Your getting your mind twisted over something that you have taken to be true but it is not. When you’re insecure about your penis size you will think and find your own proof that everyone’s dick is bigger than yours.

I think a lot guys do fluff in the change room. I know I do. The lighting in the change room at my gym makes muscle definition stand out more. It’s been that way at every gym I’ve ever been too. So I fluff in the shower to the point where my dick is relaxed and in its natural flaccid hang. Then I just look at myself in the mirror because I look so sexy lol.

Anyways fluffing is a thing that most guys probably do if they are going to be walking around the changeroom naked. I’ve noticed guys with semis before. I think it’s because they got carried away with their fluffing but who knows.

Penis size has no correlation to hand size. Read reliable studies. 7” is not, I repeat not the average length of an erect penis.

You keep saying “seems to be” or “women have to see” and refute pretty much every study about penis size ever conducted based on a suspicion that average hand size is 8” and that this correlates to penis size.

When, if average hand size is 8”, the medium male glove size would be much larger and I wouldn’t have to buy 2X gloves. And if penis size correlated to hand size I’d have started 2” bigger than I did before PE. Minimum, given I have an 8.25” hand.

You postulate claims without data regarding what promiscuous women see. What average hand size for men is. Also what average penis size without a single piece of proof other than paranoia of yourself falling short to fulfill your self-fulfilling prophecy about your own percieved inadequacy.

You’re not being objective or reasonable. And if you hold your beliefs to be true, no amount of us telling you otherwise will change them. But look at them for what they are.

Opinions of a man convinced he falls short looking for the means to justify it. No data available in the last 50 years or more supports any of what you’ve said.

I’m guilty as charged, I fluff every time I am in the gym because I want to be at my normal flaccid size (maybe a little more than that) and not have a shrinkage issue. Shrinkage is embarrassing even when I bet most of the guys aren’t looking.
