Back on topic, I worked out today. I know sparkyx, I know, deconditioning and all that. Shit man, I’ve had such a good PE year it’s just damn hard to let it go. I feel like I’ll fall off the PE bandwagon if I don’t stay at it.
Did full intensity, 1/2 normal duration of wantsmores routine. Dick felt very limber, and less resistant than it was feeling before the break. Before taking a few days off I was definitely feeling a little “beef jerky” in the core, toughened.
Today was able to stretch right back out to same lengths I was getting before my little mini-decon break with no problem. Didn’t measure bpfsl like I was going to though :( I will do so fastidiously in the following days to see if I get some sort of deconditioning pop from taking a short, but well oiled break.
I’d like to see 7 and 1/2” bpel by January 1- kind of a pre-New Years PE resolution. 7 and 1/2” is my new 7”. I remember when I marked 7” on a paint stirrer stick when I was still unconvinced about PE and could NEVER reach 7” and said to myself; “this will only be real when you can reach that line”. I said this because no matter how hard I pushed, I just could NOT reach that 7” mark. My new mark is 7 and 1/2. When I hit 7 and 1/2” bpel the first time, I’m going to run out into the street with my boner and show everyone.
All that optimism aside, I think 7 and 1/2”bpel by Jan. 1 is a pretty tall order.
