Newbie and first poster here. Has anybody used the EMR-TEK Firewave Red & NIR device? It has a 850 nm NIR bulb in the middle, but doesn’t go directly on the skin it is supposed to be about 6-12in away from your body. Is this as effective as a pad like mentioned in this thread?

It has not enough of the 840. It’s mostly the lower red ones 660+.
Wrap type devices are better for this purpose. But for general red light therapy it seems amazing albeit pricey. Then again my chinese 50€ pad is already trash.

I have this NIR pad from eBay: eBay

I have it plugged in to a high-power USB adapter that’s rated for fast-charging phones.

The pad is about 6" wide and wraps around my tube a couple of times. It sticks together with Velcro. There’s a controller that sets intensity and time.

As usual, it didn’t come with any data sheets or specifications. But it has a *lot* more cowbell than the 54W NIR lamp I used to use. On the high setting, I have to set the timer to turn off at 5 minutes; 10 will leave my shaft with what feels like sunburn.

Right now it is pretty nasty; lube eventually gets everywhere, even outside the tube, and the fabric of the pad is full of it. I’m reluctant to wash it in case soapy water kills it, but it’s either that or throw it away and buy another one.

Yeah the way they are is not good for this purpose, most of these wraps. Probably Andy, you have a more red 660 nm specification cause that is more responsible for the fast heat burn, it seems.

If you guys remember, OP did state, that 660nm is for the purpose kind of useless. So we should find best 700+ diodes and products.

Thought: More collagen means harder gains?

Has anyone ever considered that since we are increasing the rate of collagen production, we might be thickening our tunica and septum? More collagen might mean thicker structures that can resist more force. I was doing incremental hanging with an NIR pad according to the correct specifications mentioned in this thread, and after a couple of months, I saw no increase in size.

Recently, I moved on from NIR to ultrasound. After reading as many of Kyrpa’s posts as I could and seeing all the incredible BPFSL gains that were reported, I put it into practice and did so for another couple of months. In the first week, I saw a 10mm increase in BPFSL. After that, nothing. Zero. I changed positions, angles, power, and frequency, and still saw no increase in strain. I’m really not sure if I limited myself after doing long periods of unheated hanging, clamping, and DMSO application. I sure hope not. The science says that when tissue is heated to 39-42 degrees Celsius, it’s able to stretch beyond what it was previously capable of. The science says it should work, and it did for me initially, but now it doesn’t anymore.

I’ve messaged Kyrpa in hopes of getting his attention as he is vastly more knowledgeable on this topic, but since it’s been years since ultrasound was a hot topic, he seems to have left the forum for extended periods. Maybe Kyrpa can notify us of what’s going wrong here, or maybe I’ve overlooked something simple in the 200+ page thread about ultrasound. We will see. I haven’t given up and will keep researching and experimenting myself.

You have to give more Information. The heat alone doesn’t do it.

You can expand more easy and easier towards your limits, that is a fact with IR and possibly the Ultrasound.
The problem for most with ultrasound is price. IR worked for me I did pumping and squeezes and clamping with IR. Clearly more flaccid and some mm. Always get comment on being bigger now.

Now I want to optimize. Would be cool if some jump in old school Thunders style, getting it tested.

There are no guarantees or scientific approach that will definitely result in continual growth. No matter how much dazzle or nice words are put in the explanations. We have approaches to try and we try them out to see if they work and what we can get out of them. Never feel like their are guarantees as that leads to frustration.

The science for heat says when stretching 39 to 42 C is optimal for growth. It does not say that this range is needed to see growth or that if it is achieved growth will definitely be seen.

If you feel like your current approach has stalled you can take a break to decondition, as was mentioned, or try another approach.

Everyone should point their eyes to Phalback and their vibrating pump. It’s guaranteed to bring 1 inch length and more girth. It’s no fad. Look into it. The owner is incredibly helpful with many communities DIY approach to it.

On reddit is where he is most active in the diy community. There is also a discord full of people dedicated to creating their own at home DIY version of phalback.

They have a guarantee where you will gain 1 inch and if you don’t, you get your money back. As I said, the owner has shipped out sample devices to trusted and reputable admins if each community and they have all gained. Please can people look into this. We need more brains being active about vibration and its use in PE.

For too long have we been doing the same thing with no results. Please don’t discard what I’m saying, do some research on the device before commenting because I know there will be people who have been hanging for years, and will refuse to believe that all it took was a vibrating cylinder lol.

Btw, the owner has proven and shown that most people gain 1 inch in around 90 days of using the device, and at 2 sessions of 15 minutes each day.

Why doesn’t it give you confidence? He is also inside the discord that is dedicated to posting DIY pics, vids and info.
His whole method is basically a packed pump, or sleeved pump. First starts people on a cylinder just barely bigger than their flaccid girth. And slowly during the 90 days incrementally increase the circumference of each cylinder.

He’s very open about his methods and experiments.

I understand the reasoning behind this rule. It sucks i cant hand out information to fellow PE members, purely for the sake of providing helpful information which would help our search for the most efficient and resourceful method.

Anyway, i wont link you the discord or reddit, ill just give the information so you can find it yourself. Its not an easy to find discord, but if you go on r/gettingbigger, you should be able to find it around there. Be sure to report back if you ever have thoughts on it, or even if you build the DIY version.

More talk about newer PE methods need to be talked about on here. I always came to thunders because that is where you could find people who were actually making movements in PE. But somehow, we lost all the heavy hitters and now people will naturally go elsewhere to find up to date information. I dont like it either, but thats just how it is. Unfortunately reddit is just ahead of us in PE.
