I received this device and have been adapting well to initial use.

Quality and design seems satisfactory and I have no complaints.

This is all new to me so here are just a few observations. This is a “fixed design” no springs. The limiting factory to extension is the ligament(?) at the base of the penis, midline, dorsal aspect. I notice this because with the member extended as far as it goes straight out, I can still push it left and right and not feel any, or much tension at all on the sides (fundiform ligs). But with it straight out (I’m standing up) and trying to pull straight out further, the surrounding skin will come forward but the tip is not moving out at all. Further force by grasping the extender only results in the strapping coming loose. Here is where I notice that center lig is maxed out. At the base, I can only feel around and down only so far but it seems to be at least 3/8” thick and tensioned like a steel cable (am I allowed some imagination?). So one question is, is this about typical observation of characteristics for those using an extender? Also, I don’t think one could hurt themselves, certainly not compared to hanging, because there is no strapping method that would not choke off the circulation and allow too much pressure, because the strapping just can’t be secured to match the force which will overcome it.
But, I am still approaching with caution, checking skin temp and sensation etc. Most comfortable method is a piece of silicone sleeve then securing to the cradle with Velcro strap. This works better than the items supplied with the extender. I might order a vac extension tip just to try also.
I wore it shopping at local home improvement center this morning. Driving a car is interesting. I’ll have to get new underwear to I think. Had to go sans Jockeys just wearing the cargo pants.
One final observation. One of the side effects of the extender is it makes your arms shorter as I found out stepping up to the kitchen counter and reaching for the faucet to fill up my water glass. Oh, and yesterday when I dashed in from the garage to answer the telephone and had an interesting encounter with the door. So, I think some counseling in maneuvering from experienced extender wearers would be appreciated.

I think what you are referring to is the dorsal thickening of tunica, or as it is uncorrectly called, the septum.

Agreed. It is the area where the septum and the dorsal walls of the tunica meet. It is VERY strong in some men, and it is almost always described as a “steel cable.” As far as I know, this structure doesn’t have a formal name.

Ectopasm, this structure will make stretching a bit more difficult and special attention should be paid to it to achieve optimum results. Some common approaches would be using fulcrums, using heat, and preconditioning the dorsal thickening with V-stretches, A-stretches, or other fulcrum stretches before extending.

Think what you experienced is normal. My experience was a bit different to you in that I started out with a spring based creep extender which I gradually i9ncreased the tension and duration so I was probably conditioned by the time I got to the slider. I went through one stage with the earlier extender where I did not gain much and had what I would describe as a hard flaccid for a while. A rest break fixed that. As a general rule I find my unit is a bit more stretchy after a rest break and as Roots says a bit of heat gives me more stretch.

If you take it easy . gradually build up and take regular rest breaks I suspect you will get better results. Also use heat.

You likely will have to mod the vacextender by making a new piece to go on the front of the slider as the rod spacing is different to the standard one. No big deal if you are handy. Toun can injure yourself with a vacextendr if you tension too much and/or stretch for too long. I did and got a blister.

I’ve noticed something similar. I usually wear my extender upward when walking. On reaching out and stretching my stomach muscles I notice extra tension on the extender and a couple of times the glans has pulled through the strap. Could be embarrassing if anyone was around at the time.

Good find Austfred! When I think of an ideal extender protocol it looks basically exactly like that. Extending for 12 hours a day will give you results very nearly on par with hanging.

Yeah there is a lot of good stuff on Thunders. It is just a matter of discovering it.

Sparkyx, I do find that comfort is the issue because regardless of the make, you still have to cinch down the area behind the glans with a strap or noose. Therefore, I’m still experimenting with methods in that regard. My next stop will be somewhere to pick up some thin foam padding. Being circumcised, Loose skin is not a problem in the area. Final note, I’m still considering a vac attachment.

Oh also, as mentioned above, I must give some consideration to the thick septum apparently.

Wearing it 9 hours per day is hadrly feasable even if you work at home (or don’t work at all). It is like having a physical handicap, I wouldn’t live that way for months for sake of a longer penis.

Marinera, you have accumulated much experience and thought on PE. In retrospect, what would you do now that you think is the most effective, proven PE.

I think nothing can compete with jelqs. It is also time efficient: think to wearing an extender for 9 hours and compare it to just one hour of jelqs: jelqs helps blood flow, exapand the penis both in length and width; I think even nerves become more sensitive, they seem to fluorish again after a good jelq regimen. I know there are people who say they did not gain with jelqs, but the sole thing I can think in those cases is that technique is the issue. Technique is the most important thing for jelqing, because a jelq can have many variations, or even nuances, that can change the outcome.

Jelq is also a perfect companion for every other technique. So, do whatever you want, but in the menwhile jelq.

It costs nothing, which is another advantage.

Agreed with Marinera about the jelqs. They are pretty much awesome.

I think 9 hours extending would be tough, but doable. A couple of the extender studies used the 8-12 hours range with proportionately large results (1-4 cm increase in 4 months in one I can remember). I have never been able to figure out how to wear an extender to work, but I usually wear pretty tight shirts and pants. Many people, however, have reported that they can make it work in public.

Anyway, is 12 hours required? Certainly not. But I would shoot for a minimum of four per day with the understanding that it is going to take a lot longer to see the same results. On average, someone will gain about an inch in 4 months extending for 12 hours per day, or an inch in one year extending for 4 hours per day. That is an average, of course, your results may vary. :)
