Four Months of Hanging

Well, I have just completed four months of hanging. I only do 2 sets a day of 20 minutes each, five days a week. I haven’t measured as of yet as I know it is slow and I don’t want to get discouraged. I would prefer to be surprised!

I just started hanging 15 lbs today. I have noticed each time I go up 2.5 lbs I can really feel the increase! It seems like when I got up to 12.5 lbs, when I took the bib off, it hung more. Could be my imagination, but it seems like it (I am not talking about permanent, but as soon as I take the Bib off). This would seem to indicate it is stretching more than with the lighter weight. The 12.5 lbs. and up may really be where I begin experiencing increases.

After 6 months, I will measure. I was just under 7” when I started, and I am hoping to have at least 7.5 at six months. When I get to 6 full months (June), I will post any gains I may have reached. My minimum goal is 8” but I prefer 8.5.

I am 51, and I am hoping my ligs are weak and will stretch easier at my age. We will see!!!

I’d say 2*20 minutes a day isn’t enough.

The general advice I have seen from vets and gainers is 10 hours a week minimum is suggested, that is 4 sets per day over 7 days. I now do mine split sets, 2 in am, 2 in pm, maybe adding an extra set now and then.

I would be interested to see if you gain with 2 sets and over what period. Good luck.

You may be right, but there is one guy on here who only does 1 set a day with heavy weight who has gained significantly. He has never done more than 1 set. So, I am kind of experimenting. If two a day doesn’t work, I will definitly go up. But, I am thinking two a day with heavier weights may work. We’ll see and I will report back.

How foolish will you feel if after 6 months you’ve gained nothing?

I hanged for 6 months starting at 5# and working up to 25#, 2 hours per day, 5 days per week. I gained zero.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Not necessarily. First, because of privacy issues, I can not do more than 3 sets a day. Second, we’re all different, and if this works, it will be great. Third, if it doesn’t work, at least I have been conditioning my penis for additional workouts and heavier weight.

Or you’ll condition your penis to the point where it becomes so strong that making gains later becomes difficult if not impossible. By the way, more weight does not necessarily mean gains. This is not physics, it’s biology.

No, but, in addition to hanging, I do five sets of 30 second stretches each morning in the shower. Also, I do girth (clamping) three times a week, followed by 250 jelqs.

I currently hang 7.5 pounds for 2 sets of 20 minutes 5 days a week and it works for me. I have picked up a quarter of an inch from two months of hanging. I hear that too much hanging will strengthen the ligs up so that it will actually make it harder to get gains.

Thanks for your response JJason. I know there are various opinions on this, but I think this will work. Do you do anything else for length besides hanging? Now that I am up to 15lbs, I think it will make a significant difference. I can definitely feel my ligs stretching.

Find some routine you can enjoy doing in the long term and you shall overcome.

Was your penis already conditioned where it becomes so strong that making gains later becomes difficult if not impossible?

I’d be interested in seeing your length gains after six months. I’m not looking to gain length but if I did you routine I’d imagine I’d be a skinny 9.5 inches now. Good work and good luck with that.
