No Gains

Like the title says, I have been hanging now for over 2 months and have not made one measurable gain. Im using the bib starter and started off at 2.5lbs for 1.5 hours a day. I am now up to 7 1/2 lbs with the current hang time of 1.5 hours a day. Do you think I need to increase time, weight or both?

Where do you get the time to hang 3-6 hours a day? I have tried hanging for about a month but it was just a bit time consuming.

Back then, I worked from home and was basically tied to my desk. So what does one do with that much time, but hang his dick! I miss those times. I’d probably be at my goal if I still worked from home.

90 mins hanging is advanced. 3 sets of 10 mins is good for at that weight. I have hung before using a captain’s wench but had to stop. It is all about if one is feeling inner penis stretch or too much skin stretching. Many individual variables.

I am not exactly sure of your question. However, knowing that Mr. Shlong was using a Bib hanger, I can tell you that most likely each set was 20 minutes or less.

So if he is counting the time that it takes to restore circulation (10 minutes) in between sets, in his total time, then he averaged about 2 sets an hour. So he did minimum 6 sets a day to a maximum of 12 sets a day. Now if he only counted actual hanging time he was doing minimum 9 sets a day to 18 sets a day.

To me any of those amounts show quite a bit of dedication.

Now he stated he was doing 10 lbs.

I also didn’t see any gains until I hit 10 lbs. Now if I had doubled or tripled the amount of time I was doing, perhaps I would have seen gains at 5 or 7.5 lbs.

Just my opinion. Please don’t be a dummy based off of this little bit of advice.

I would add sets/time before weight. If you know you can reasonably do 2 hours a day and you are only doing 20 minutes then work your way up to 2 hours. After you have reached your maximum time then start adding weight. Remember, this is not a weight lifting contest. The weight is just a tool to allow you to gain. If you are gaining at 11 pounds then why rush to 15 pounds.

This is within reason and listen to your body in order to prevent injury.

Stress causes growth according to Bib. And stress is weight over time. A good gainer will end up with quite a heavy weight and doing several sets per day.

Some people believe there is a weight threshold regardless of how much time you put in. However if you reach a weight threshold of 10 pounds doing 3 sets, it is very likely you would have gained at 8 pounds if you had tried hanging for 5 sets.

All this is my non experience based opinion. But it seems that the more sets the more you maximize your potential gains. So even if what is limiting you is the weight threshold, try first to put in and commit with as many sets as you think you can.


When conguering a golddigger you need a large bank account, when conquering a dickdigger you need a large tool. When conquering a woman you need a minimum of three things: money, class and yes: dick size. Good news are, you can actually improve in all these three aspects.

Both times I have hung, I only really started seeing gains after 10 lbs (my current weight this time, so hopefully I start seeing some again). The weights before 10 lbs is not a waste of time as it is getting your penis adapted and ready for those heavier weights. Also, I have gained BPFSL with weights lower than 10 lbs, so it might just be a matter of time before your BPFSL gains turn into BPEL gains (they usually do for me).

Again, time is the main factor, just take it easy and keep at it.

Well, I have now been hanging for 5 months and still have not gained anything. Currently I’m hanging 12 lbs @ five 20 minute sets 7 days a week. Could it possibly be that all my hangie is done while standing?

4-5 yrs ago I made great progress with just and ADS, so when I came back to PE I figured hanging would definitely make me reach my goal. Even if it was 1/8” gain in 5 months, I could live with that since it is something, but damn this is crazy.

It is hard to say. I do from BTC lying flat in my bed to hanging in an office chair lying back. I consider the office chair in between BTC and straight down. I have definitely read about people gaining from hanging straight down.

If you are truly getting in 35 sets a week then you are definitely hanging more sets than I do. However, our bodies are different. I would suggest adding just a little bit of weight and seeing how it feels. Probably 13.5 pounds and then in a week go to 15 pounds depending on feel. Many people don’t start gaining until they hit 10 pounds. That does not mean that 10 pounds guarantees growth. If you hadn’t done the ADS in the past you might have gained that same amount from your current weight of 12 pounds. Then you might need to increase anyways. Either way you could be at the exact same point that you are today. Basically more weight is now required for continued growth.

I feel an overall soreness in my penis and going up in the direction of my abs and towards my thighs. It fans outward is the best way I can describe it. I feel this soreness the day of and the following day of a really good hanging session. This is definitely not pain. Just an intense soreness.

You might want to try throwing in a couple different angles also. I personally have very limited experience with upper angles. I have set up a pulley system for straight out and over the shoulder but it is extremely rare for me to mess with these other angles.

Just my opinion but try a slight weight increase and start researching what other people have done. I have read about people that haven’t gained until beyond 20 pounds. These where the exception but it definitely happens if you believe people’s journals.

Hanging is an art in the sense that you should go by feel in regards to increasing weight and avoiding injury. However, I try to add as much science to my own regimen. I do this by tracking everything that I do. Also by researching what others have done.

Just as a side note. I think the 35 sets a week is great. I am not saying to drop sets and increase weight. I aspire for that many sets a week.

What’s your heat situation? I started hanging with a IR lamp heat lately and it makes the tissue deformation so much easier.

Re-read Bib’s old posts over and over again on riding the fatigue. Adjusting the weight from day to day and set to set to stay in the fatigue zone is crucial.
