$15 electric vacuum pump for anyone!

The electric pump makes short cycles easier to do. I am no expert but short cycles (less than 1 minute hold times) have been very good for me.

Went to Walmart today, the model didn’t have a number, rather a range 30-60 (gals?), and cost $21.00. Bought it and reversed the valves (5 minutes), and measured the vacuum with my hand pump (Mityvac). One side was 6 in hg, the other sucked at about 1.5, probably defective. So I pulled out the bad one and left in the good one.

I attached the valve (inline) regulator and dropped it down to 3 in hg, and did a 10 minute session…it rocked. Super quiet, nice steady 3 in hg, no pumping or watching required. I think I am going to like it!

I might even hook it up for water pumping one day!

Thanks guys, great find!

Most excellent. You did everything like a seasoned expert on the subject and am glad you are happy with the results.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

My trip to walmart was similar to sparkyx. The 10 and 40 have been discontinued in favor of

The Whisper 10 - 30 gallon pump
The Whisper 30 - 60 gallon pump

I wasn’t sure if they they had changed the internals, so I did not buy. Logged in today to see if anybody knew so YEA SPARKYX! :cheerlead

sparkyx - Couple questions if you have the time:

— where did you get the inline valve regulator? At walmart too? If so what am I looking for exactly?

gprent showed us a Y adaptor that came with his 40. I didn’t see any thing like that in the 30-60 box I examined. Can you confirm that?

THANKS

The 30-60 model has two outlets, and comes with one T adapter to connect the two outlets into one line. Mine also came with two inline valve regulators. Its designed to put in line and decrease the air flow if the pressure is too high and creates too much bubbling in your tank…if you are using it to pump air in your tank.

All three are in a little plastic bag in the larger plastic bag that holds the pump.

They are just cheapo plastic valves, but mine works fine. The problem is that you screw the plastic screw in or out of the valve to regulate air flow, and mine is almost all the way out to bring it down to 3, so it fell out this morning when setting up.

But its fine, at least I have the potential for 6 in hg if I ever need it.

Did a 3X 10 minute pump session @ 3 in hg and it was great! This thing should last for years! It is designed to leave on 24/7 for years and we just use it for relatively short periods. PLUS I pulled out the second one and wrapped it up to use as a backup. Honestly, the only way this will go bad is if the rubber diaphragm gets old and brittle and cracks…other than that, it should last many years.

sparkyx - THANKS! The box I examined must have been mis-packed at the factory, it only contained the pump and the instructions. Swinging by there today or tomorrow. I am so excited about this concept.

DUMBASS QUESTION - when you are switching between your regular pump and the Whisper pump to check pressure, are you switching hoses? Or do you have two male connections, one for whisper and one for the regular pump?

gprent - I’m wondering about your current routine too. I’ve been doing every other day, based off of Wad's statement that the penis needs more rest/recovery from girth work. That makes sense to me, on the other hand I don’t believe Wad ever pumped.

Yes, I love low vacuum pumping. Best results ever. I have even lowered my range to 2.5 to 3.5 and lately, by staying at 3 or below I can just stay in the tube for 30 to 45 minutes straight and come out huge and with zero discoloration. And then I stay huge all day. I usually try to stick to a 3 day on 1 day off schedule. Now, by using the lower pressure I have begun pumping twice a day when I am in the mood and since I have zero trauma, that is also going very well.

Also, I always have the tube wrapped with my microwave heat pad.

Got it. I’ve been staying around 2.5 and 3.0HG mostly, and have noticed a much better result than when I was staying in the 4ish range. So I will try out something other than the 1on/1off routine and see what happens.

I did not like the fittings that came with the pump. Pet stores have a better selection - that’s where I found the silicone tubing. Even better, I like the 1/4” drip irrigation fittings I found at Lowe’s, maybe Home Depot has similar - found in the plumbing department. The valves are very stiff - a good thing!

Attached is a picture of the quarter turn drip irrigation valve as well as a barbed Tee and the gauge fitting.

With a few Tees and valves, a very workable system can be made.

Let’s say you want to do short cycles - 20 second holds then release - OK simply put a Tee in the tubing, attach a valve, leave the valve open, put your finger over the valve to start a hold cycle, release your finger to release vacuum. The valve allows you to close off that segment of line if desired.

As already mentioned, if you want lower vacuum then put a tee in the tubing, attach a valve, and open the valve to the desired vacuum while a gauge is attached elsewhere on the line. The valves are stiff so they stay where you leave them.

Want a permanent gauge - simple - just take the gauge off the brake bleeder, convert the male threads on the gauge to 1/4” taper with a brass or plastic fitting to fit the air line (see picture attached). Even easier is measuring the vacuum by simply attaching you brake bleeder with the gauge intact.

I wanted to experiment with 3” Hg and 5” Hg in the same session - I know, kinda complicated - so I used 2 tees with 2 valves each. On each tee I have 1 valve preset to a particular suction while the other valve on the tee is for on/off of that preset.

I am still searching for cheap way to accurately measure vacuum - I don’t think the gauges that come with these brake bleeder pumps are very accurate, especially at low levels such as 3”. It would be nice to find a gauge with a scale of 0-10” - that would be best for our use.

So you are doing twice a day for 30-45 minutes?

Yeah, I am going on a girth mission right now and I figure this is the way to go. I also finally found a cock ring that I get good results from and can wear it after my pump session. I am using a hair tie wrap (HTW) and thats working nicely.

I figure I have good length, and even if I don’t get any longer, its good. So, I will work on girth now with your method and I think that should work very nicely. Do you put on any type of device after your pump session or not?

Thanks!

I found that sticking the hose from the electric pump into the cylinder tube, didn’t make a good seal. Luckily I happened to have a plastic valve from an old PE experiment, that is perfect to connect the handpump hose to the electric pump hose.

So, I just hooked the two together and the gauge on the hand pump gives me a reading. Alternatively you can press the electric hose line hard against the hand pump outlet itself and get a fair reading while you are holding it tight.

I’m sure you could use a bit of silicon gel to glue the smaller hose inside the larger on and get a good permanent seal, just don’t glue the opening shut.

Update: my vacuum adjustment valve actually is completely screwed out, and its just the vacuum that holds it in. Not a good method. I went to Lowes and couldn’t find the drip valve. Went to the Pet store for a air flow valve to regulate air into the fish tank from the pump. Not good either, it doesn’t really cut down vacuum, just flow, so it will still get up to 5 in hg, but take forever to get there.

It makes me think that the drip valve is pretty much the same. I need a pressure regulator…any ideas?
