$15 electric vacuum pump for anyone!

Having the cover in place does hold the internal pumps in place but other then that, the cover is not required to aid in the vacuum level. So even holding the cover in place with 2 screws would do the job of keeping the pumps in place.

Even if you lost all of the screws, you could just wrap rubber bands around the pump to hold the cover.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I am so glad this pump is catching on. The cost is less than 10 percent the cost of a commercial electric penis pump. And the only disadvantage is no pressure gauge, but the Tetra is much quieter then those commercial pumps and a lot smaller then most of them.

This gauge might be usable for the electric pump application - just put a tee in the line and add the gauge. It might not be very accurate at the low range (below 5" Hg). I will pick one up next time I am at harbor freight and report back.

Yea, me - got it done.

Seems like it will be good, getting proper pressure all set up maybe tomorrow or Monday. Thanks for all the help.

Two words: duct tape. :)

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

It turned out that the screw that was on the verge of stripping was actually completely disengaged. Basically it was stuck in the plastic of the cover, so much so that I had to tap it with a rubber mallet once the top was off.

This is going to be a cool toy.

This has seriously made sitting down and doing a pump workout a lot more streamlined/easier.

I am actually surprised at how much a difference it made just because I am not messing with the hand pump.

For example, for some reason getting into the tube for the first set seemed kind of like a time consuming ordeal to me. Same way going back in after a break. Lots of steps involving connecting, disconnecting, getting the seal, trying to fiddle with the hand pump with KY jelly coated hands.

Now I don’t have to do much but lube myself up, stick my penis in the cylinder, and the pump just sucks me in and gives me the greatest seal I’ve ever had. Easy as heck to take breaks too.

Wonderful. Thanks everybody!

Told you so. :D

If you get this one its pretty easy to covert nothing to pop out you just take out 5 screws and the pump assembly comes out. The rubber was made to easily flip off, swing the arms out and then there is a screw in the middle if you take off the blue piece you will see a black round piece of rubber with 2 holes in it. You just pull the rubber out break off the little white piece that goes through the hole then turn the rubber piece upside down or 180 degrees so the 2 holes are now over the opposite 2 chambers. Reassemble and your done.

I just hook mine up to my might vac and its pulling just over 3. Not bad for 10 bucks.

I’m working on one of these now. If it works, I can post some pictures.

Here’s some points I would like to post to get clarification.

1. When you open this up, there are two chambers, thus two diaphragms. I take it that you open up each side, and rotate each diaphragm 180 degrees?

2. Along with that - the blue piece which retains the diaphragm remains in its original orientation upon reassembly?

3. Since this does not come with any tubing, I take it that you bought aquarium tubing and ran the two outlets into a T to make it a single outlet?

I think I’m on the right track. I don’t have a way to connect it up to a gauge right now, so don’t know if I did the right things. I’ve been through a couple permutations thus far. The suction is not strong enough to tell by putting your finger (or tongue) over the outlet, BUT I then tried testing it with a match. When I had it wrong, the output was strong enough to blow out the match. The way I have it now, the output is not blowing out the match, but neither is it drawing the flame strongly toward the outlet (now, hopefully, the inlet….)

I should be able to pick up some smaller diameter tubing later today, and then I’ll have a better idea of what is (or isn’t) working.

They are independent of each other, so you can do both, one or even take out one and keep as a spare, as I did.

Not sure what you mean, I don’t remember the colors. The diaphragm device can rotate as one piece reversing the flow, it only takes 2 seconds to just turn it 180 degrees, so any proceedure that is more complex than that is probably wrong. You can just rotate it, plug it in and test it right like that to see if it is now sucking instead of blowing.

Some do, but if one side is producing more vacuum than you need, its pointless to hook them together for more vacuum strength, right? You would just have to bleed down the excess vacuum and thats just silly. If either side is producing enough vacuum for you, take one out and keep it for back up, it will give you twice the life span and make it quieter.

If you have a hand pump with a gauge, then you can just hook it to that and get a reading, thats what I do.

Yes! Insert aquarium pump tubing into hand pump tubing and gauge will show you what you’ve got.

I have also “double checked” it by

- going into tube while connected to aquarium pump.
- disconnecting cylinder from the male connector
- connecting cylinder to hand pump to verify pressure

I get the same pressure reading either way.

Success! Notes and photos to follow.

sparkyx, the piece I was referring to are the things (plates or covers) that screw down to retain the diaphragms, and it did seem to make a difference, at least in my experience.

Just a quick update. I starting using my electric pump to do water pumping…its DA BOMB! Really great expansion less time. I was doing 4 in hg for 30 minutes with air, and even experimented with 60 minutes. These were all done in 10 minute sessions. However, didn’t seem to be making any gains on LUV (length under vacuum).

Recently I started doing water pumping using 1 session of either 15 or 20 minutes. I am still using 4 in hg, but it seems that LUV is now starting to increase again. We will see, but the electric really is great with water pumping too. If you are new to water pumping, I use the in line water trap (fluid trap) that came with the MityVac or Harbor Freight hand pump. If you want to try it, first get the technique down with the hand pump. You REALLY do not want to get water into an electrical device, so make sure you are real competent with the hand pump water pumping first before you move to electric! You NEVER want that water to move past the fluid trap into the electric pump or even the hand pump. IF it gets into the hand pump, it can ruin it, but if it gets into the electric, it may ruin YOU! :)
