$15 electric vacuum pump for anyone!

The plastic valves that came with the pumps I purchased were garbage as were the tee connectors - both fittings produced unwanted and unreliable leaks in the system. When I have more time I will post some pics and links.

After measuring the vacuum several times, I did end up buying a drip irrigation valve from Home Depot (my Lowes didn’t have it) for about $2.00. As you said its a stiffer valve so it stays where you set it. My other valves did drift after setting the vacuum level. Perhaps it was the vibration of the pump or the vacuum, not sure, but the Irrigation drip valve is great as you had said.

Great contributions mo1258, thanks for everything.

This is EXACTLY what I had experienced. You reduce flow RATE not vacuum level. Not what you want. The in line valve with a tee is the solution for very little money and does a great job.

If you are taking about taking the screws out of the pump, you MUST have a screw driver that fits properly. If it is too thick, you will just strip out the screw and then YOU are screwed!

Yes, I’m wanting to take the top off the pump to do the modification.

I’ve got several sizes of phillips screwdrivers, none of them seem correct. Is your screwdriver marked in anyway? THANKS

Nah, you just have to go by feel. When it sinks in deep into the screw head and is snug when you turn it, not slippy… then you have the right one. Also, press firmly in once you have the right one, while you turn it, until the screw breaks loose and starts to move.

However, once you strip it out, its a whole new game.

sparkyx - I am not gprent, but I have been staying between 2.5 and 3.0 for the last few months. I am not ready to say for certain, but I believe I gotten a bit of a mid-shaft gain during that time. [I worry about “wishful measurements” if you know what I mean] I have been wanting to break the 5”MSEG barrier for a long while, I feel like this is working. I go in pretty hard, come out semi. Multiple sets to 30 mins. I do a lot of tube milking, so there is slight fluctuation in the pressure. Also lower pressure to 1HG for 30 secs ant each 5 minute mark. Expansion is way better than what I was trying the 4 to 5HG range, improved EQ, no trauma etc etc.

Will be interested to hear more from gprent. Every time I have followed his advice, I get results!

Yeah, I think Gprent is one of our unsung heros here…great advice but so lo key that most miss the gems he offers!

Just bought the cheaper pump walmart has, Aqua Culture it has 2 outlets and says its for 20-60 gallons. It was 10 dollars and some change. If you get this one its pretty easy to covert nothing to pop out you just take out 5 screws and the pump assembly comes out. The rubber was made to easily flip off, swing the arms out and then there is a screw in the middle if you take off the blue piece you will see a black round piece of rubber with 2 holes in it. You just pull the rubber out break off the little white piece that goes through the hole then turn the rubber piece upside down or 180 degrees so the 2 holes are now over the opposite 2 chambers. Reassemble and your done.

I just hook mine up to my might vac and its pulling just over 3. Not bad for 10 bucks.

Yeah I saw that one. Still haven’t gotten my whisper open because of screw driver issue…Toxsus, thanks for this report on the Aqua Culture. 3HG is really perfect for me, so if I destroy this whisper by stripping the screw on my next go at it, then I will try the Aqua Culture out

If you strip it out, just try and drill it out. You can still use the pump with only 3 screws.

Good idea on the drill. THANKS. The only time I stripped a screw before, I dremel’ed a new slot. HA HA can’t get the dremel down into this hole though.

While vacuum so low, I would think keeping a hard erection would be needed to see gains, but you are the expert on this subject.

I like to always pump with an erection. Now maybe I am lucky, but I have no problem maintaining a full erection at only 2.5-3” hg. I think I just love the feeling of pumping plus I do a lot of pumping while watching porn, but even while watching regular TV, I stay pretty hard.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.
