Bathmate BM - No Temporary Gains

Hey everybody - First time poster, long time lurker.

So I have a question regarding the bathmate; I don’t seem to have any temporary gains whatsoever.

I’ll start out with some quick informative information.
I’m new to PE, but have recently started on the “Bathmate Newbie Routine” and I am around 28 days in. I’ve read a lot about, how a lot of you/other people seem to have somewhat “big” temporary gains, whilst I can stay inside of the pump for around 10-15 min fully erect, without seeing a difference. Whenever I get out of the pump, my penis seems sloppy and then goes back to being flaccid. It does look bigger inside, but I’m pretty sure that is the effect of my penis being inside of water. I usually always wear a cockring while pumping, with the comfort-pad removed, since I wanted the extra suction just to see if it’d do anything, but with no luck unfortunately.

I know that gaining takes long, yet after all these posts about how big of temporary gains people has, then I felt like the black sheep. I have also read here and there, about other people who have had no luck with the temp gains, but the answers varied a lot - Some: “I also gained nothing at first, but after 1-3 months I started having temp gains” and the opposite “Really, that’s weird. You sure you are doing it correct, or are measuring correctly?”
I was wondering if the fact that I’m half asian would do anything? Or perhaps, that I’m just a slow gainer (maybe huge layers of tunica?).

I’m mainly focused on girth, and I’ve been reading a lot about different methods. I was thinking after I’ve hit my 3 months milestone, I’d start up on some 5x5 routine, also known as SSJ (Slow Squash Jelq) combined with pumping. Then also maybe put in some clamping or tunica tugs. I’m just not sure, about what causes me to have no temp gain, as it seems like a big factor confidence-wise - perhaps I maybe can’t gain.
I’m currently: BPEL - 6.7” and Girth - 5.0”

“Temp gains” are lymph bloat.

That bloat is useless, you should be avoiding it. You get it from pumping for too long at too high pressure.

TP enlargement protocol is low pressure, moderate time. Sounds like you are doing well.

However, since you are new to PE I suggest you put the bathmate away and do a hands only newbie routine for at least three months to learn about PE and condition your penis.

Too easy for newbies to injure themselves with devices unless they have that foundation. Especially with a toy pump like the bathmate, which gives no indication whether or not you are pumping at too high pressure.

I personally recommend the “Linear Newbie” routine I have linked in my signature line.

Ah, thank you so much sta-kool.

This helped a lot, definitely confidence-wise since it’s been on my mind for a while, but knowing that you’re not necessarily obligated to have temporary gains does a lot - I read about water retension; I’d rather stay away from that too!

I’ll put down the bathmate for a while, start up on some good old manual methods and get myself a worthy foundation - Then I’ll move on to the more advanced Tunica Tugs, SSJ / Pumping and so on.

Sorry but don’t believe that if there is no swelling you are gaining. If your penis looks the same as it did going into it then maybe your pump isn’t making enough vacuum. But you should def see a dif.

Yeah I thought so too - That’s why I was wondering if it had something to do with me having a good amount of tunica layers, or that I just somehow couldn’t gain?

Having the comfortpad removed + cockring just sounds weird, that it wouldn’t have been enough pressure/vacuum. I’ve once gotten red spots, but then of course took a day off and realized that must have been too high of a pressure (still not swell, maybe not long enough)

Fact is early on, I got zero temp gains from any sort of pumping. I couldn’t push it far enough to get temp gains with air, with water I didn’t get consistent expansion.

Conditioning and true, first hand knowledge of PE is key here. There is no substitute for time and experience.

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

I never really experienced temp gains or dramatic plump fluff, like alot of other guys..( I think it’s partially in their heads). I’ve been gaining all the same. 28 days is very short.

It comes back to us all being different. In the beginning I bought two bathmates because I didn’t know pe gadgets were unnecessary. The Hercules broke so bought the hand pump BM and I had temp gains right away. I was hooked!! I eventually joined here and learned a hellva lot, one thing I learned was an air pump with a gauge was not only less expensive but also more controlled. So I switched to air pumping but always used the BM as a warmup/down. I personally am happy with pumping, more so with the air then the BM. My girth has gone from around 4.75 give or take to 5.5- 6 if I’m using a cockring or when clamped. Pumping takes time and perseverance as does any form of PE but more so with pumping for permanent gains.

I’m excited to start posting my experience in PE. I just bought a BM and will be doing other PE routines at the same time.

I get some temporary gains that lasts until the next session the day after. Maybe you’re not getting enough vacuum, I hang both longer and fuller. Only on day 2 though but might go for a second round today as well due to very good PI’s during the previous night. Had some seriously wet and vivid dreams and a raging boner.

As long as a big can of Gillette shaving cream(7,5" or 19 cm), with picture proof in the 'full body picture' section. Pictures is the ultimate proof in the pudding, IMO.

My one question for all Barhmate users is, what pressure are you using? Knowing what pressure you’re at is essential for gains and staying away from injury.

No idea to be honest I just pump till there’s no more water coming out of the nozzle and then stay at that for some minutes. No pain or discomfort at all, so guess I’m just going by the feel of it.
On a side note; just measured today and I’ve gained 1/4 of and inch in about a week. Could almost not believe it but double and triple checked and I have most definitely gained. Seems to come in growth spurts for me. Too damn happy right now, but then again, far from finished yet.

I would say judging by my experience with an air gauge and going by feel it’s around 7hg that I pump up to. But you need to look at the BM a little different from air pumping, it’s not meant to be used for as long or as many sets. Which is why I use it more for the warm up/down these days. In the beginning I used it as a stand-alone 15-20 min sets twice a day and the after pump was great but looking back I didn’t know what I know now so it was mostly fluid build up. I was probably pumping way too high. After reading pumping threads and using a gauge I used more caution with the BM.
