Bathmate Users -- how do you manage pressure?

I don’t have a sleeve so I can’t make a recommendation.

I think that the sleeve is only needed if you aren’t getting any length gains, and want to up the vacuum a bit.

OVERALL, I think that you shouldn’t have the vacuum so high that you are getting edema and spots, thats a sure sign you need to back it down a bit. IF you aren’t gaining length from a reasonable vacuum level, then try stretching or length jequing or hanging instead. Heck you could even stretch first to pre-stretch, THEN do your pumping set.

No, actually the sleeve I’m talking about it like a super thick reusable condom. See condom pumping for the concept. It gives some positive surface pressure that counteracts the negative pressure enough to have the higher vacuum levels WITHOUT the skin damage and edema.

AH - I assumed you were talking about those silicon cylinder bases making it easier to get a seal underwater. You know what they say about ASS - UME ;)

Actually its a silicon sleeve that was sent by the Static Stretcher guys. Its very much like a high quality, thick, silicon condom.

After seeing some of our most informed pumpers give it the seal of approval,I just ordered a Bathmate myself, as I’m attempting to get back into PE after a hiatus of far too long. I told the gentleman on the phone about Thunder’s and asked if he’d like to register here to answer questions and commune with the PE, well, community. Maybe we’ll see a new Commercial member here soon to answer questions for and that we can provide feedback to!

I was interested in the bathmate, but if I am a little or 8”, the head girth will only be about 5.5 inches? I usually pack a 2” tuvbe about 6.25” 100%. Would I lose out on some expansion at the top?

There is some indication on the website that there are larger models, although they are not on the sales page. Try contacting them and see what they say — and let us know!

So if I’m disseminating all this correctly, the bathmate will eliminate the donut effect that some get while air pumping? That will no longer be a concern if using this product?

I don’t know if it is impossible to get a donut when pumping with the Bathmate, but I have never gotten one.

Not generally, and I still air pump.

It’s an apples and oranges comparison anyway, as my maximum Bathmate session has been 20 minutes (per the instructions), and I generally do not get donuts from air pumping for that duration either.

Hows everybody doing with this? I just ordered one.
